I went to Lily for the first time and had such a good experience! Lily is very sweet. I originally showed her the nails I wanted for the price and I told her I'll probably get something else because $ is tight . I was recommended to her by a friend and I would recommend her myself . I love how my nails turned out and the service/vibe I got ! I also got a pedicure by a very sweet lady but I forgot her name :( would highly recommend

This was my first time coming to Pleasant Nails and I will definitely be coming again. It's was busy when I came in so one nail tech did my tips and applied the acrylic and another nail tech lily did my shape and design. They were all super sweet and noticeably care for their clients. Will recommend again!

The pedicures here are great! They really take their time & cater to what your feet / legs need. I got the volcano pedicure & it came with a scrub & lotion in a scent of your choice. It also came with hot wax, hot towel, pressure massage, & a hot rock massage. Felt amazing! read more

First time visiting this establishment. Made an appointment 4 hours in advanced. Waited 20 minutes to be invited to the pedi chair. Water was scorching hot and I have now been soaking without any assistance for another 30 minutes with not so much as an "we will be with you". Why make an appointment, if you are just going to be delayed by 50 minutes (and counting?). This will be my one and only time at this establishment. read more

Do not come here! I went to get some acrylics a month ago and they used MMA (a dental product that SHOULD NOT be used on nails ever) instead of acrylic which completely destroyed my nail-beds. It took two and a half hours to soak and remove the nails because of how bad the MMA messed up my nailbeds. Please do not waste your time and money on coming here, it's not worth destroying your nails for $65. read more

Just a quick review. Normally you go to nail salon for regular manicure and pedicure service, they just pretend to give you massage. But this nail salon gives you real massage. I LOVE IT. read more

One of the downsides of moving to a new city is that you have to hunt for the best nail salons, trial and error, trial and error. Pleasant Nails makes me really miss my old nail shop in the Bay Area :( Not a satisfactory experience here- Within a week and my gel manicure is easily peeling off and my daughters pedicure nail polish is non existent. I've ALWAYS gotten gel manicures and they have always lasted super long, never peeling so fast. I'm shocked that Pleasant Nails gel manicure is weakkkkkkk and not holding up! It's not like I'm gardening with no gloves or scraping concrete- what's the problem here?! Also, Workers were not friendly nor looked happy to be there. Cleanliness-wise, I wish they would wipe down the seats, headrest, arm rests and back massage of the pedicure chairs between each customer. Another reviewer mentioned that their temperature was checked- well, ours was not. These sanitary details and consistency matter! I have been going here for years! I thought I would get a pedicure before I returned to work. I had some young guy that I never seen before. I always get the #3 pedicure and it felt like I got the #1. I was done in less than 30 minutes. I saw Tina wasn't working otherwise I would of complained. Very disappointed and the water was cold! read more

I have been patiently (not) for nail salons to open. Pleasant Nails had been open 4 days and I had to have a pedicure. Took my temperature, had plexiglass barriers and we all had masks on. I love the massage chairs and my toes are looking good. Thanks! read more

In that we have many places to choose from to have nail services I still wouldn't go anywhere but Pleasant Nails. Tina and the staff have been taking care of myself and family for over 10 years. From pedicures, manicures to acrylics we are always pleased. My husband and son enjoy a pedi and my daughter and I love our nails. The quality of work, the creativity and the kindness of the staff has us returning even during these uneasy times. This was my go to salon. Went in this weekend after months of not getting my nails done and there was all new staff but Tina! I asked for a gel dip manicure and only one person knew how to do it. The male nail person was using the electric nail buffer and cut 3 of my cuticles and made be bleed . Won't be going back since the staff has changed. There was also other people in the salon who were waiting forever and they were getting their nails done In stages by different people. read more

I arrived here at 9:10 am and I was automatically greeted by staff and got a full set of acrylic for $30. I was in and out! The place is clean and you don't hear them talking in Vietnamese while they work. They chat with you and make your nails looks so pretty! I felt so pampered, I recommend Dana. The good news is they got me in right away. I asked the lady fir some fun advice but she was rushed and just said whatever I like. Bad news is the color did not last and almost looked as if it melted. I have fake nails and just 3 days later the polish was coming off and it was as if it didn't set. Disappointed because the reviews seemed good and it was close to where I live. Not going back. read more

Worst nail place i've been in years. Lady did a horrible job on my nails. AND she got pissed at me because i didn't want the pink and white powder. I said i wanted my nails clear. She buffed my nails and then charged me $35 for it? What a rip off. I should of listened to my mom. They recently changed owners. Now they SUCK! My nails where so ugly... and this is after telling her multiple times that its not straight. I finally gave up and next day i went to my usual nail place and had it fixed. The whole time they were speaking in Vietnamese and staring at me like there's something wrong with me. On top of that.. i'd like the health department to go check on them. Did you really pick up a sander thing from the "soiled" box? She looked at it wipe in on her jacket and started sanding my nails with it Can't be sanitary! I was kinda grossed out after that. I should of never gone anywhere else. read more

Clean, gentle and good customer service. A little pricey but I left so happy with my nails! :) Gel pedicure was $40 with like a 30 minute massage (aaaaaamazing) and the acrylic nails were $30. I got Lyn - she was so great. Constantly asked if I liked how it was looking and she was taking her time to make sure it was perfect. Since I got gel on my toes and regular polish on my nails they're different paints. I wanted to have the closest color possible to each other and she made it happen, Lyn layered two different colors and they came out exactly like my toes. She was so great!! Thank you Lyn! read more

I have been going here for years to have my nails done by Kenny. I usually get gel because they last me 3 weeks before going back. Kenny never cuts my cuticles and is very friendly and professional. Today I had them do something a little more fun for the 4th of July. Tina is also very good and I highly recommend them both! read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I had a mani pedi a few months ago and had a horrible experience. About 24 hours after the pedicure I noticed red bumps all over my lower legs (up to where the water reached and salt scrub was applied). I am a nurse and had multiple MD's at work take a look at the rash and tell me it was an infection related to the pedicure. It got worse and I ended up with white, swollen pus pockets all over my legs. I had to go on 14 days of antibiotics and was very uncomfortable. I did return to the salon, show them my legs, and asked for a refund. After 10 or so minutes they agreed and refunded my money. My family, friends, and myself will never be back. read more

I was a regular at Pleasant Nails until a few visits ago. I was getting regular 2 week gel manicures with no problems for a few months, then all of a sudden they switched to a drill for filing rather then manual file. The first time my nails were damaged just minorly, and I pointed it out to the owner. My manicure was acceptable for the price, but not good. I was annoyed that the owner was on watching football on his phone while doing my nails. I went back two weeks later and got the same service from the owner, my nails lifted within a few days and had bubbles and cracks. I gave them a third try, hoping that switching to another person was the answer. She absolutely destroyed my nails with the file. I have naturally strong nails, however she took over layers of natural nail rather then soaking off the gel. Sadly it used to be a great find in Roseville, but not anymore. read more

Tina is wonderful and it is always a nice atmosphere. I have literally been to just about every shop in the greater Sacramento area looking for a decent manicurist and I myself am a former manicurist and am extremely picky. (Quit due to having wrist surgery 3 times). This is as good as you are going to find ladies. The pedicure stations are very clean and everything is well maintained. Very professional. They do not $5 you for every little thing. read more

Pleasant nails always does a good job. Tina is wonderful she does amazing. I have gone to other nail places for convenience and they never last as long and never come out as pretty. I am really hard on my hands and my nails don't last long but whenever Tina does them idk what she does but they last super long without chipping! I have been really liking the ombré look and she does an amazing job my friend and I both went to two other nail salons asking for ombré and the both places didn't even know how. Finally after trying about 10 nail salons this place is amazing.. they took me in right away, were very friendly and accommodating. Lily did my nails and she is amazing. I have been searching for someone who can do ombré with acrylic and no one can do them correctly, if they can even do them at all. Good quality place and very sweet staff. I love this place. It's very hard to find a good salon for me because I feel that I am usually too picky, but I love my nails everytime I get them done here. Kenny is the best! They are very family friendly. I bring my 3 year daughter with me everytime and they treat her with such respect and paint her nails too. Only con is that they are not too artistic. The shape and length of my nails are always perfect and they are very durable, but they don't get too fancy with designs. I will always come back to this salon though. I always have a wonderful experience. read more

The lady said "ya" and walked away, did not give me options and came back with a mini water. Ok. Whatever. I'm sitting there waiting for 10 mins 20 mins, assuming my appointment will start at any time now, mind you I was never updated regarding what was happening with the wait time. I finally asked and was told it would be another 10-15 mins! Why would you not tell me that on the phone? Or when I came in? Or when I told you that I was looking for the shortest service possible? I understand a walk in is a walk in but at least explain to your customers what is going on instead of making them sit there thirsty and wonder. This woman had no warmth, every time I asked her something I felt like she was annoyed. On top of that, there was nail dust at the station I was sitting in very obvious spots. I read through some previous reviews regarding people getting infections after services at this salon.The lady who was going to be doing my nails did not seem anywhere near done with the previous client. I decided to leave. Sad because I have been looking for a nail salon in this area-the search continues.

Then she's started cleaning hear station and while filing my nails she started talking to her colleagues in their language I couldn't understand of what was being said but very unprofessional. While she was filing my nail; the nail lady filed down my nails a lot harder than before. And when she was filing my shapes to create the shape that I chose; I looked at my nails I didn't say anything yet. The nail lady said" what's wrong with nail?" I answered my left thumb and ring finger is crooked." Then she said " I know I'm not done." I sense attitude from her and kept her to her colleagues in their language. (She kept on talking to her colleagues in the entire appointment and spoke to me and husband in English). Over all experience was fine not the best, I like the overall shape of my nails but the quality wasn't best. There are some spots that are properly filled down and uneven buffing, the acrylic application was not properly it's uneven and she's the wrong tools for filing and buffing my nails. I never once was used a proper tool or even sterilized her after she used them. All of tool were dirty. (She use the same brush to wipe dust on my nails and use the same brush to dust off dirt/dust on the counter and used it again on my nails. VERY unhygienic!! )) We won't be coming because my nail lady gave me attitude and I didn't feel comfortable when everyone was speaking in their language and I don't know any what they are talking about, not professional. Tina does the best eyebrow wax. They came out perfect and elegant. Two weeks ago I went to get a foot massage and it was very well. It help me off the pain of my work day. My friend also came with me to the nail salon and she told me that her manicure was done beautifully, I could tell. There wasn't any pricing available. For a manicure and pedicure it was $50. Gel would be an additional $10 each. Super reasonable for a simple polish, right? The pedicure was a little sad. My nails were cut a bit oddly, and the skin by my nails was clipped and they could have just left it-- now the area is rough and weird.The polish job left some to be desired. Excess polish was "cleaned up" with a fingernail swipe, but it left some polish on my skin still, unfortunately! If that gets the job done that's fine, but it'd have been nice to be touched up with polish remover after. I was led to the manicure area after, which was a little awkward scooting across the floor barefoot with wet polish. A towel was placed down for my feet to go on top of, but it was a little icky because there were nail clippings on the floor... The manicure... I'm sorry to say I'm disappointed! Just like my pedicure, skin by my nails was clipped, and most were fine, but I have some nails where the skin is all rough and like I've been chewing at them. My nails were poorly-filed to where the tips were still roughed up from the board. The polish job was like my pedicure but a bit worse. The sides of most of my nails was missed, and it looks like I've had this manicure for a few days already. I'm sure there is a reason why the other reviews are so great! I wish I had that kind of experience, as this sadly wasn't it, and I feel like I wasted my money.
