Speed of response is fast. But service charge is very expensive. They will charge $178 if service is declined after quote. Otherwise, it's $89+actual cost. I had a leaking main water pipe in the front yard. Cost me $600. I know it involved some digging work but it is something that can be done in a hour or two. Yet, a couple of hours later, it starts to leak again. I had to call the guy back to finish the job properly. It was a weekend and I wanted to fix the problem for the tenant on the same day. I called several companies and they are the only one I can get hold of for same day service. But I should have called more companies to get more reasonable price. This one definitely charges as much as they can. I know professional plumbers can be expensive and I was prepared to pay $300 for the job. But $600 simply reminded me spending more time shopping around always makes sense when it comes to plumbing jobs. read more

Hi I called Plumb Masters to help with an emergency plumbing situation, in the middle of the night. They were responsive and professional. I had called many other plumbers but Plumb Masters were the only ones able to respond. When the technician got there they could not access the property, as the tenant had fallen asleep. Blake the technician was incredibly understanding. He gave me plenty of time to try and fix the access problem, but unfortunately I was unable to. I offered to pay Blake in addition to the call out fee, but his integrity would not allow him to accept it and instead he praised Plumb Masters and suggested that I have them come out the next day and fix the issue. The communication between the plumbers assigned to my job was poor. Management is trained well on communication. I waited for a week for the appointment and I got confirmation from two separate people that if I accept their quote at the time the plumbers get here, they'll start and finish the job, even if it goes after hours. I have yet to receive a quote after 3 days, just a quick note around closing that it'll have to be the next day. I got the estimate fee waived and I was very disappointed that my project got delayed 2 weeks. From beginning to end, my experience with Plumb Masters has been EXCELLENT the two times I have needed them recently. Dispatchers have been courteous, understand issues I bring to them, and efficiently communicate with technicians. On the first occasion, technicians Sam and Josh thoughtfully explained both to me and to my deaf tenants the problems with the toilet and their proposed solutions, which they executed and tested thoroughly. On the second visit, a different house, Graham was equally professional and efficient repairing two toilets. Called yesterday to make an Appointment. Said they'd get out to the house between 8-10am the next morning. So I take off of work to accomodate their schedule. When they don't show at 8:30ish I call and see what their schedule is looking like. They tell me they had a bunch of people call in sick and that 12:00 is more realistic. I said that messes up my schedule for working from home and that I"m going to goto work and come home at noon which they said was fine. I goto work, then get home at 12:00. I decided to call at 12:30 to see where they are and they told me they were at the house at 10 and I wasn't there (my phone has a call made at 10:10 direct to voicemail from them). I then reiterated to them that we agreed 12 noon and that is when I expected them - not 10. They apologized and tried to set something up for the next day. MY response? *Nobody got time for that!* I said forget it and called someone else. Then, they had the audacity to turn around and send me a bill for THEIR missed appointment. I was referred to Plumb Masters by Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing. Our main sewer line was broken and needed to be replaced. I knew right away this would not be a cheap project. This was not an emergency repair but was time sensitive. I tried to do my due diligence and called 4 different companies to obtain a quote. When I called Plumb Masters and they were able to dispatch a plumber to assess the repair and provide an estimate within 24-hours, which was faster than 3 other plumbing companies I had called. Although none of the companies could provide an estimate over the phone, Plumb Masters was transparent up-front and quoted me a dispatch fee of $89.00 to provide an estimate and mentioned this would be applied towards the final repair bill if we moved forward with them. One of the estimates I obtained was from a large national "reputable company" and their estimate was almost double. This is why local matters. Plumb Masters was not the cheapest estimate, but I decided to move forward with them because they had the best reviews. In addition, I felt more comfortable with them because the plumber that provided the estimate went out of his way to explain the extent of the damage and broke down the costs in detail. He was very personable and took the time to listen to my questions and explain in detail. Plumb Masters emailed the estimate immediately and provided the option to electronically sign which was convenient. After I signed the Documents sent to me via email, I received a call from their office within minutes to schedule the project around my schedule.   The Technician that did the repair was Graham. I encourage you to request him next time you schedule Plumb Masters Services. He was fantastic and is a great representative of the company. He called ahead to confirm the appointment and was right on time. Although I had already accepted the proposal electronically, he took the time to explain the extent of the repair once again and answer all questions I had. The original estimate I had received included digging and had a clause indicating that the estimate was subject to change if they discovered that the repair would need to be larger than originally anticipated. Once they had excavated and assessed the full extent, Graham and his colleague provided an update, explained in detail, and confirmed the final amount. Even though the repair was slightly more complex than they had originally anticipated, the final bill was exactly what had been quoted in the estimate. If you are in need of plumbing services, I highly recommend Plumb Masters. I hope not to need their services in the near future, but will not hesitate to call them again next time our house needs repairs. TL;DR - Great local company. Transparent, personable, efficient, and fair in their pricing. Not the cheapest option, but certainly the best value.  They go above and beyond in their communication and customer service. read more

Wow, what a great customer experience! I was referred to Plumb Masters by another plumber who assured me "these guys are great & will take care of you" ...sure enough, they did! After noticing an exterior water leak, I called and got a same day appointment. As scheduled, Oliver arrived and quickly/accurately assessed the situation to be a slow-leak at the exterior faucet. Given there was no way to access the plumbing from the inside, he even referred me to some to have the exterior Hardie Board cut away to expose the pipe. Today, Oliver & Kailum arrive to complete the work. They are both awesome & handled the repair without issue. The positive: Plumb Masters helped us out on a weekend when our water line sprouted a large leak. They set us up with a temporary line until they were able to dig, put the new line in, and get the inspection done. The bad: It took 3 weeks to get the trench dug, new line put in, pass inspection, and get it backfilled. That meant there was a huge trench next to my driveway with an exposed temporary pipe and a big pile of dirt next to it for over two weeks. They failed the first inspection due to the pressure, and then charged us an additional $1000 on top of the original estimate to change whatever it was that was needed. My biggest problem, however, is that they claimed to offer a 5% cash discount, which is a pretty big amount for an $8000+ job ($400). When I spoke to someone at the office, however, she claimed that a cash discount meant ACTUAL cash. Not a personal check (so as to avoid a credit card fee, like every other normal business), but actual paper money. They wanted me to go to the bank and get $8000 in cash. No offer for a personal escort or suitcase to carry all that money in. This makes no sense and is bad business, and makes me suspicious of them trying to keep business under the table (or are they laundering money?!). I would likely not use them again because of this. read more

This day didn't start out well, as my bath faucet in the main bathroom decided it wouldn't turn off. I had to turn off the water main and had almost resigned myself to not having it fixed until after the weekend (it's Saturday). All the other plumbers I contacted were giving me Monday or Tuesday as their next availability. Plumb Masters was able to send out Sean to help me. He quickly figured out that the cartridge in the faucet needed to be replaced. I also had a more minor issue with the second bathroom where it was stuck in "shower mode," and since I had the plumber out anyway, I had Sean fix that as well. All together, it took about 2 and a half hours waiting and another hour for the fixes. Sean was courteous, efficient, and didn't even say anything about me being in my pajamas. It's laundry day today, somewhat delayed by not having running water for several hours. Price for both repairs was in the mid $600 range; I don't really have a good frame of reference to know if that's a good price or not. They turned crappy into clapping. Let's be real. Nobody wants to call a plumber. Not on a Saturday, which is, of course, when all plumbing issues are scheduled to appear, not when you have sewage coming into the house instead of out of it, and especially not when every plumber in town is booked a month in advance because of the winter storm. I called six plumbers, and Plumb Masters were the only ones to answer immediately. Yes, it's more expensive on the weekend, but try telling your SO that we're just going to have to hold it for 48 hours. Anyway, Plumb Masters scheduled Jami to come over right away. He was very clear in what he was going to do and was very well equipped (with gadgets I had never seen) to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis was not good: collapsed drainage pipe. Need to dig. Jami explained the cost differences depending on where the problem was (ranging from 'that's not cheap' to 'let's just walk away from the house and move to the mountains'). Still, Jami used the snake to clear up a bit of the pipe so we could start using the restroom again immediately! They scheduled to come back and do the work on Monday. This time Jami was working with Jordan, and this dynamic duo of drainage doctors took to the front yard to locate the broken pipe. When they finally located it, it turned out that roots had gotten in through a screw-top lid that the builder didn't put cement on. The pipe was not burst or collapsed, so Jami and Jordan called me outside, they talked to their office and discounted the heck out of the original quote. They cleared out the roots in the pipe and cemented the lid so it never happens again. I really appreciated the honesty as well as the care they took to mark the hole so people wouldn't fall into it while the cement dried. A few days later Jami and Jordan came back and closed everything up in a matter of minutes with no fuss. I do recommend you call them and have them quote you for the repair, even over the weekend.
