My family and I came here for brunch. It was super busy which was fine. The service was okay at best. The food was bad. My mother in law food was super cold and my sisters food ( we sent back) was nothing good. Service was super slow we had to ask for things several times. And drinks several times. They include 18% grat ( 3 adults and two children) Which is ridiculous regarding the terrible service. We were never checked on besides to tell them the food was cold. This place is absolutely amazing of course I was enticed by the giant cinnamon roll I've seen all over the instagram and TikTok Whenever I go to a super trendy restaurant or cafe my expectations aren't that high, so I wasn't expecting everything to be so delicious!! First of all it was a quick 5 minute wait for a party of 2 on a Sunday afternoon which is amazingly quick. I'm always slightly skeptical of places with a wide variety of different food types, but this Bahn mi was so so good the perfect amount of acidity from the pickled carrots and radishes as well as the fresh cucumbers and the meat was cooked and seasoned so perfectly. The only thing I would change would to make the bread slightly more flaky/crunchy. Overall this dish was really solid and perfect for sharing. The side of potatoes was a little strange it seemed like it was half skinned potatoes it wasn't bad by any means just didn't have that much flavor and looked out of place. This is my first time here so that's probably the standard. Now let's talk about it the giant cinnamon roll, yes it is huge, and yes it's bigger than you think. The photo does not do it justice. Sad to see what a family owned business delivering quality has become. We have been customers for over 20 years and we tried and tried and tried to like plums after the change of ownership. Unfortunately we won't be back. Prices went up (understandable) and portions are significantly smaller, but more importantly quality has decreased substantially. The baguette used now looks and taste like the one you can buy from Ralph's across the street on the take and bake section. The overall freshness and taste that plums used to represent is well gone. Very sad. Tim: the answer is always the same "we didn't change anything". I'm glad the business is successful as I would hate to see any local businesses close but I would also take into consideration feedback from people that used to go 40 + times a year to plums. The place was packed when we got there (around 1PM on Sunday), but we were seated within 10 minutes and promptly taken care of by our server. She was lovely and the general ambiance of the cafe was pleasant, had high energy, along with great lighting. The menu itself has a really unique blend of options which is great to have, especially when you're first dining here and may not know exactly what you want. Of course, we had to try the Giant Cinnamon Roll. 10/10, no notes. I expected it to be mainly just huge (which it was) and wasn't expecting much in terms of flavor/execution. I was so pleasantly surprised when it ended up tasting like an elevated version of the classic Cinnabon roll we all know and love. My partner ordered the Shirred Eggs and was blown away, and wants to come back solely to order them again. I also got the Oregon Trail and it was everything I wanted it to be. Delicious, fluffy eggs, high quality peppered bacon, and perfectly sized buttermilk pancakes. The 2 of us got about halfway through the cinnamon roll, but were able to finish our main dishes. Came here for brunch on a weekday and the restaurant was very mellow. I can imagine this plaza being packed on a weekend. The parking is quite limited so I highly recommend coming here a little before they open on a weekend to get a parking spot. We ordered their Famous Dutch Baby ($20) with the side of Oregon Pepper Bacon ($4). The dutch baby was delicious but keep in mind that it takes a while to make them. The two strips of bacon were very savory. They are perfect for balancing out the sweetness of the dutch baby. We also ordered a side of Biscuit and Gravy ($7.50) which came with one biscuit, a small dish of gravy, strawberry jam, and butter. The gravy was very flavorful and tasty in a way that you would be tempted to eat it by itself. The actual restaurant isn't too big but they have an outside covered patio area with lots of seating. The interior has a bar and some standard table seating. Staff was friendly but it did feel like they were a bit shortstaffed. I would definitely come back here again to try other menu items, but it'll probably be on a weekday. read more

The pesto avocado sandwich was good, the pesto wasn't over bearing and with the arugula, it was a nice touch. The Vietnamese pork bowl was super good, it was a nice fusion blend! The tomato rice and the flavor of the pork brought it to the next level. Coconut French toast and shirred eggs both had very good flavor in their own way! The French toast wasn't too heavy and we enjoyed the fruit on top. Still had a relatively light taste to it as much as it looks to be too sweet. The shirred eggs were something different than we are used to but the taste was good. It has a creamy taste and was a little heavy. Personally I wouldn't get it again just cause for breakfast I don't like too heavy of foods. But I can see why it is a popular item. The whole restaurant had a great smell of quality foods. The relaxing ambience was definitely something I wasn't expecting. Been seeing this place on yelp for years and can see why it has the popularity it does. The space is bigger than it looks from driving by. The service was good, helpful and friendly! Parking can be crazy in that front lot but apparently there is parking in the back area. They take reservations so if you have a group probably a good idea. I tried the coconutter i liked it, we ordered the eggs Benedict, biscuits and gravy!!! My boyfriend and I went here on Labor Day and it was initially a 35 min wait which was fine, we went on a holiday and it was super busy. We were seated, no silverware/napkins/condiments, which I know isn't that big of a deal, we just asked for them once our food arrived, but little things kept adding up. I ordered cinnamon roll latte for $10, which did come with one mini cinnamon roll, and that was the only reason I could justify the price, seeing the latte was very small (maybe 8oz). It also tasted like a plain, unflavored latte as well. My bf ordered the "cool hand cuke" and it was good! We ordered our food (loaded patty melt for me and Oregon trail for him) and multiple parties received their food before us. Once again, I'm not in the kitchen but little things were adding up. On my patty melt, I had asked for no mushrooms and there were indeed mushrooms. And only half of the sandwich had meat on it. We had asked the waitress about it and she said it only comes with one patty, so sometimes it ends up just coming on only half of the sandwich. So if you order the "loaded" patty melt, be prepared to only have half the serving, unless you want to just eat the bread. I got fries on the side and they were very dry and bland. And unfortunately the ketchup was probably the most flavorful thing on the plate. My bf food was okay, he said the pancakes were really good! But eggs weren't fully scrambled like he asked and tasted like water, and bacon was very bland as well. We ordered some cinnamon rolls to go and this is what they looked like. Icing (barely....) on the cake, if you will. Overall, just not a great experience for the hype of the restaurant, the wait time, and the price. This was honestly beyond mid, and the disappointment really showed in the details of our order. We ordered, two lattes, the wedge salad, the melt, avocado toast and the biscuits and gravy. The wedge salad, which looked and tasted like it came straight out of a grocery store bag. The lettuce was lifeless, the components felt prepackaged, and the overall flavor was just bad. It lacked freshness, balance, and any sense of care, which is not something you expect when ordering a wedge at a sit down restaurant. The avocado toast was equally underwhelming. It was bland from start to finish and weighed down by way too much runny egg that completely overpowered everything else. The avocado was not even mashed, just sliced and laid on top, which made the dish feel unfinished and careless. There was zero seasoning and no real flavor at all. The cinnamon latte was supposed to be the highlight, but it was bitter and boring with none of the warmth you would expect. To make it worse, the side of cinnamon roll tasted like cardboard. It was dry, stale, and definitely not fresh. For something that should feel indulgent and comforting, it completely missed the mark. Overall, the menu sounds great on paper, but what actually came out felt careless and uninspired. For the price and reputation, this experience was a letdown and not one I would repeat.
