Great location, good happy hour. Would kind to see more food and mocktail options added to happy hour. Would also love if they'd bring nonalcoholic bubbles but they do have mocktail options available. I ordered a couple snacks while waiting for a friend. Started with happy hour Sotteok kochi. It was smothered in a spicy red hot sauce which I didn't love and the sausage tasted to me like a microwaved hotdog...maybe normal? ‍ I don't know. I did love the rice cake with it but wiped off the sauce to enjoy it. I also ordered a side of ramen noodles. That I loved but that's pretty standard. It was not flavored so I tailored it with soy sauce and lime juice. Would have loved a flavoring option even if just powdered chicken but made do :) Generous portion for a side which is great! Server Bella was so lovely, an absolute doll. She was running around quite a bit. The bar isn't designed to let her wander about efficiently.

My nephew wanted to come here for his birthday after having been before. I had no clue this place only served tapas. We went during their Sunday Happy Hour. Our server, Kellise, probably didn't spell her name right lol, was wonderful. She was friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was amazing and I will happily come back to this spot.

Looking for Korean bar food in Scottsdale? Head on over to Pocha 54 for some yummy eats! We arrive late on a weeknight and settled in for drinks and grub. This is tapas, so the dishes are smaller than a full entree, but they're still sizable. And most importantly, they are spicy! My favorite was the gochujang shrimp - grilled shrimp tossed in spicy gochujang sauce with scallions. Plump and juicy, sweet and spicy, I could just eat these and be happy. Plenty of screens playing sports and a cool, subdued vibe for a nice evening in north Phoenix.

This place was a true gem!! We love Korean food and these tapas just hit!! We had the tofu, the crab salad and tteokbokki. We were full, the crab salad came first the other 2 things took more time. We also had Soju. The ambience is great and of course they play KPOP a lot. Our server was very attentive and the place wasn't that crowded because it was Sunday night. Will def come back

I finally got to check out Pocha 54....its been on my list for quite a while now. We went for happy Hour and it was great! Our serves Calyse was exceptional! The Brussels were our fave with the Kimchi Fried Rice a close 2nd. I can't wait to come back to try more.

Q: What did the fried rice say to the kimchi? A: Don't wok away from me! Kevin, the guy who brought us Zu Izakaya, Zu & Pocha, Bei, and other great eateries around the valley also brings us Pocha 54 Korean Tapas. We had just gotten done with the USA TODAY Wine & Food Experience when we wanted a bit of time to unwind before heading home. Having had this place on our radar for the longest time, the six of us popped in for some tapas despite being full of spirits and small bites. No regrets though because everything was amazing. I can't even begin to tell you what all was had but every plate was cleared and enjoyed. I especially liked the Gochujang Garlic Shrimp! This is a super cute place with ample patio seating. I'm not in this area often but I would definitely pop in again. Also to note, happy hour is daily from 4pm-6pm and 9pm-11pm. They also have all-day happy hour on Sundays and Tuesdays.

100% worth it!!!! Grace was our waitress and she was absolutely incredible recommending everything that was really good and then some. The food and soju was completely worth it. Managed to hit happy hour and try many different items which I recommend highly. We will be returning sometime soon!

CHICKEN MANDU & CORN CHEESE & NAAN

This is one of my husband and I current favorite date spot to hit up. It's inviting, good vibes, and nice service. I don't have to get super dressed up, but feel like I'm a bit more upscale than chipotle or chilis (there is nothing wrong with these places either, but not my ideal date night). Here you have a menu of several different Korean tapas and it's perfect to order a few and share. Everything we've gotten has been very good and anything with the melted cheese is great, especially the corn and naan! We weren't the biggest fans of the spicy ramen, it tasted too similar to ramen I could get at the market, grocery store, or online. Seemed like a little spicier cup of noodles with different garnish. That is the only reason I give a 4/5 vs 5/5. Other than that, still a favorite spot to visit, for a good, fun and comfortable date night.

Came here for a date since it's one of the restaurants I haven't been to in High Street. My date made a reservation for 4pm on Sunday and we were the only ones in the restaurant for the first 30 min. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered 5 items and all were good. A little spicy for my taste and still good. As a thank you for making a reservation that manager gave us a complimentary mochi desert.

Wings ! A table hit - fantastic !

Loved it ! Much needed night spot with tapa style Korean bites. Excellent service and ambiance. Plentiful seating. Our favs were the wings, bulgogi, and mandu. And the shrimp! Must try place. Bonus: it has reverse HH!

GOCHUJANG GARLIC SHRIMP

Excellent variety of food & generous portion sizes. We sat outside and the outdoor barstool seating was great for the location on High Street. The shrimp, pork, and beef dishes were all flavorful. Recommend trying a hot pot with a couple other dishes to get a nice variety of flavors.

CHICKEN MANDU

What a hidden gem! This Korean tapas place was soooooooo good. We tried several items from the happy hour menu. The chicken Mandu (pan fried dumplings were delicious and the sauce was great). We also enjoyed the padak (kind of like a chicken nugget with a nice sauce) and the tofu steak. The Korean spicy ramen was so good with the perfect level of spice. My husband enjoyed the bulgogi and rice. The service was super friendly and on top of everything with great recommendations. How did I not find this place earlier. Will be back!!

SOY GARLIC CHICKEN WING

Came by on a Wednesday night around 7pm. Not busy at all as there were only a couple other occupied tables. Menu selection was smaller, but not bad for a tapas style establishment. Ordered quite a few items. Our favorites were the corn cheese with naan, padak, bulgogi mushroom pot, and the soy garlic chicken wings. Food quality and presentation were very nice and our service was stellar. Definitely enjoyed our experience here!

The order came with some banchan; stir fried fish cakes, cucumber salad, and kimchi. The bulgogi itself was good but didn't have a very smoky flavor. It came with fried vegetable spring rolls, shumai and goon mandu. I didn't realize it came with the same appetizers we ordered but didn't mind as they were tasty. The only item we didn't care for were the spring rolls, which were mushy. The kimchi fried rice was ok, I'm not sure I'd get it again. I really enjoyed the goon mandu and would definitely order it again, it was crisp, the filling well seasoned and I especially loved the dipping sauce it came with. The shumai had an interesting spongy texture and nice shrimpy flavor which I enjoyed. Warning, the spicy sauce for the wings is not for the faint hearted! I was not prepared for that level of heat but if you enjoy really spicy food you'd like it. It was too much for me and my boyfriend who typically eats really spicy food. Thankfully, the sauce was on the side and the wings themselves were nice and crispy so we ate them without the sauce. The prices were reasonable and portions were large. I would definitely come back!

I feel like I got burnt out on it a while back but eating with a vegan had me pleasantly surprised when they brought me here to try their house-made tofu dishes. I really enjoyed their difference in bon chan and was delighted by their $.50 hot drink station at the front. It was cute and very whimsical to get a korean milk coffee out of a quickie machine that presents its own cup when you insert quarters like you're traveling abroad. I liked it a lot. When you're sitting in their little booths, it's also very private and you can also view their process of making tofu in the back on the televisions on the side while you eat it, which is very informative as well. The staff was very clean and prompt at taking orders and never missed anything either, so I definitely appreciated the wait staff and attitude as always.

Any waiter that hears the bell comes to your table to assist. The response never took longer than 20 seconds most of the time. To start the appetizer tray at the beginning is an awesome touch that I'm not used to in other places I have tried. It kind of took the guess work out of ordering in my opinion so I only had to focus on what meat or dish I wanted since my sides were already selected and refillable for free through the course of the meal. We ordered the seafood sundubu, beef bulgogi, and sweat and spicy korean fried chicken wings. The portion size was very generous on the wings and on the crispier side which my wife prefers. The seafood sundubu was delicious and was pleasantly surprised to see a decent amount of tofu and seafood types in the dish. The beef bulgogi was also tasty and as I said before just scratched that korean food craving that we had. This has been added to our rotation of date night locations for us! On the table there is a button to call the waiter for ordering or for any other needs. Each Korean restaurant seems to offer a bit of variety in their dishes, and sometimes a specialty dish that the others Korean restaurants do not. We started off with seafood pancake and it had shrimp, octopus and large green onion. I would have appreciated a bit more seafood, but it was cooked crispy on the outside and nice and thick. The dipping sauce was very good. We ordered beef bulgogi ssam-bap (serves 2) which traditionally can be eaten with a lettuce wrap, garlic and ssamjang (non-spicy red paste). It arrived with a diverse tray of greens, perilla leaves and carrots, samjang and garlic. The greens were enough to feed kennel of at least four rabbits. The beef was a fair amount however it was overcooked. It also arrived with a soup and ban chan of 8 items. These provide a variety of the traditional side dishes, or ban chan of Korean food. We also ordered a cold namyeong soup with a side of kalbi. The soup had daikon radish and is traditionally eaten in the summer. The kalbi had the tender soft meat that is its highlight. Overall, we had a great experience and while Korean food is traditionally a meal that runs about $20 a person, it has an aesthetic presentation, it is flavorful, especially with umami, and it is fairly healthy. I would definitely return again and it is a great place to enjoy the meal with other others.

If Korean BBQ is all about abundance, flavor, and the experience of gathering around a sizzling…read moregrill, Manna BBQ delivers on all three fronts. This meal was a satisfying all-you-can-eat feast that balances quality meats, traditional Korean side dishes, and crowd-pleasing appetizers, topped by superior service from Jimmy. From the moment the food arrived, the presentation set the tone. The table was quickly filled with colorful banchan (Korean side dishes), including kimchi, cucumber salad, bean sprouts, pickled radish, fish cake, and potato salad. While these sides may seem simple, they play an important role in Korean BBQ, providing contrast to the rich grilled meats. The kimchi was fresh and vibrant, with a bright red color with plenty of spice and fermentation. The appetizers looked like a strong start to the meal. The japchae (glass noodles) were well-seasoned, offering a slightly sweet and savory flavor profile. The gyoza had a crisp golden exterior, suggesting a satisfying crunch before giving way to a savory filling. One standout appetizer was the corn cheese--a bubbling skillet of sweet corn and melted cheese that looked indulgent, comforting, and impossible to resist. The fried chicken also deserves mention; the crispy coating was perfectly golden and paired with a vibrant dipping sauce that added a sweet-spicy kick. The real star, however, was the barbecue itself. The platters of raw meat has excellent variety, with beautifully marbled cuts that promised flavor before they even hit the grill. Steak, in particular, was thick-cut and rich, tender and well-marbled. Once grilled, the meat developed an appealing caramelized exterior with just the right amount of char. There is something uniquely enjoyable about cooking your own food, sharing dishes, and pacing the meal at your own speed. The tabletop grill becomes the center of the dining experience, encouraging conversation and making the meal feel more like an event than simply dinner. The restaurant's atmosphere appears casual, clean, and focused on the food. The grill setup was well-integrated into the tables, and the overall dining area looked comfortable without unnecessary distractions. The emphasis remained where it should be: on the endless flow of food. For the price point shown on the menu, the value appears excellent. The combination of unlimited appetizers, numerous beef and pork options, seafood selections, and traditional Korean side dishes offers plenty of variety. Diners can sample multiple proteins and flavors without feeling restricted to a single entrée. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned Korean BBQ enthusiast, this is a meal worth gathering friends and family around the grill for.

TL;DR The variety of food and some excellent service are…read morewhat brings us back. Notable lesson: Ask your server to let you know when the last order will be taken. Ambiance: Large dining area with ample seating. I'm partial to booths and this establishment has plenty. They also have tables in case you're not up for the AYCE. This is a place to enjoy food with others, especially with a grill in between. Not a fan of the smoke off the grill? There are no drop down exhaust fans that block conversations, but they're built into the table. Is it smokeless in the dining area? All I can say is if I can describe what people are having four tables away from me, I think it's alright. Food: Variety and choice meats are important, and they are both above sufficient for the two hours you get to dine AYCE. Whether you're an adventurous eater or not, there is something for everyone. I do stress it is a grilled food restaurant, so try not to expect much of some items like their bibimbap. Also, AYCE does not include drinks unless it's water. Service: We enjoyed every server we've had, but three stood out. Let's begin with the two who were especially unforgettable for good reasons. Emilee and Kelvin, thank you for your excellent service. Emilee's smile and manner made us feel welcomed and comfortable. As many tables as we saw her cater to, she never let us feel ignored. Kelvin is also a great team player. Just as knowledgeable of the menu as Emilee, he also jumped in to help so that none of the tables were left waiting. Both served us very well, and left us supremely impressed. When there is a time limit, this is absolutely important. No customer wants to feel like they paid too much to receive so little and wait for so long, regardless if it's AYCE. Which brings us to Sue. My husband remembers Sue as the server who refused to take our order after an hour, but most of her service time spent changing the grill (which is bizarre considering she didn't take many orders from us; more on that later). We sat at one of her eight booths at 11:34 am, and she abandoned us after taking two orders and changing our grill multiple times. Maybe Sue expected us to order all the items we wanted, stack all those orders on top of each other for the first hour, then the second hour we should just eat and not bother her anymore. I understand she didn't have a helpful team member, making service slow. I'm sure she knew her limits and so was quick to serve fillers like corn cheese and gyeran jjim. Another notable fact is our receipt showed we ordered multiples of items, but we NEVER recieved as many plates as she entered (because she didn't come to our table that many times to allow us to order). I am sorely disappointed she literally abandoned us for 30 minutes when we wanted to make our last order. When she finally came back to us at 1 pm, about 1.5 hours after being seated, she told us we've been seated longer than two hours and she can't serve us anymore. How did we pass the two hour limit when the restaurant opens at 11:30 am and she stopped serving us at 12:40 pm. If she had not abandoned our table and took our last order at 12:40 pm, we would have finished and left before the two hour time limit. Overall: 3.5 stars but rounding up because of other well-mannered representatives like Emilee's sister. 5 stars for all the times we visited and were not served by Sue. 2.5 star experience being served by Sue. Please don't enter orders that were not delivered; that seems fraudulent. Please be transparent with your customers when it comes to AYCE rules and your capability.

That said, my partner and I got the XL Beef Combo 1 and ended up having to take home a third of it. Meat quality is great, and portions are good. They have the best cucumber kimchi I've ever had, and fantastic kimchi soup that's not too spicy. The beef belly and bulgogi were our favorite meats. Many of their options like the green salad, bulgogi, marinated ribs, and vegetables were not nearly as sweet as I often find them in other KBBQ joints, which was a great change. The service is great. I didn't feel waited on, I felt like I was just generally seen. There's a doorbell if you need something quickly. Otherwise all staff were super friendly and anticipated our needs with grill changes which was nice. The atmosphere is great. It's small and casual but very comfortable and upscale at the same time. It feels very relaxed while maintaining a high standard. The music is great (for us), all kinds of EDM at a good volume. And no TVs, which is actually nice - it let us focus on the vibes, the food, and each other. Many other parties were laughing and having a good time. We spent about 130 between the two of us, having ordered an XL combo and an extra side (chicken buldak - I couldn't eat the noodles but the chicken was bomb). It was a great way to spend a Friday night. We plan to make this a regular spot in our rotation - we still have a lot of sides and meats to try. Well done, please keep it up. Would recommend.
