I've only been to Pocha House at night when it turns into a little night club. They check your IDs, there's a DJ, they have 2 bars. One in the main room and another in the back side where the bathrooms are. They do serve late night food, which we got this last time along with bottles of soju. I think we got some type of fries and Korean fried chicken. They have some pretty good DJs and a full bar. I would like to come back and try their food some time. There's street parking and the staff are friendly.

Pocha House might just be my new go-to for Korean comfort food with personality. The vibe inside is warm and lively -- neon glow, great music. The Hot Cheetos Corn Cheese is pure genius -- creamy, cheesy, sweet corn underneath that crunchy, spicy Cheeto topping. It's rich, over-the-top in the best way, and completely addictive. Then there's the Spicy Pork Bulgogi -- tender slices of pork caramelized with that deep, smoky-sweet Korean spice. Perfectly balanced heat, bold flavor, and so satisfying with rice The staff were upbeat and welcoming -- quick service, great recommendations, and genuinely happy energy that matches the food. If you're craving a spot that blends comfort, spice, and just the right amount of fun, Pocha House is it. Every dish brings flavor and flair.

Great place to have a chill friday dinner--loved their cocktails, and appetizers. The waitresses were super friendly and the food was delicious. Want to come back to try more of the menu.

I like the vibe of the place. If it were a weekend, I can see how it could be super busy. We got the kimchi pancake, the lunch box, and rose pasta. Honestly, the food was pretty mid. Lacked flavor. The pasta was good but I wouldn't call it a Rose pasta, it tastes like a seafood boil pasta. The drinks were pretty good. We had a good time.

We went here after a concert- love that it was open late with comfort Asian food. There happened to be an event with a dj when we went so it was super loud haha but it was good vibes! Cute interior too~ We got a variety of things- army stew, shin ramen, fire booty booldak chicken, soy garlic kfc. All were pretty tasty. The army stew was served on a burner so we could cook it on the table. The kfc was such a good texture - I liked the banchan they served with it- radish, pickled jalapeños and a side salad Parking - street parking, watch the signs as there's a lot of 1 hour parking around.

Trina and Yasmine were the sweetest girls during my first visit to Pocha House. I'm here from out of town for work and they were both so attentive and kind. My food came right out so quickly after I ordered and it was hot and delicious. It was clean in the restaurant and the drinks were so tasty! I will definitely be back.

This is a 3.5. We were looking for good Korean food and this spot came up. When we walked up, we had no idea it was a lounge. They guaranteed us that we could order food, so we went in anyway. First we're ordered the Korean wine flight. The servings on the flight were good but we found the drinks too sugary. We were looking forward to the food coming out. The pork bulgolgi was simple but had good flavor. The kimchi rice was also good. The pork belly on the salad was just alright, but we wouldn't order it again. Overall, our food and experience were fine. Not sure if we'd go back, but I'm not mad we went. The

I've always wanted to come here because my husband and I heard great things especially about the party life at night. We were in the area looking at Yelp bookmark and Pocha House came up. When we went around 5:30 PM, it was not busy at all. It is so cool inside! Between the lights and the black furniture and all of the art, you just can't go wrong. The train even went by which means they offered four dollar shots and of course we had to take one. We love this entire experience. Our server was extremely nice, helpful and kind. I learned about the various drinks they offer. She also had good recommendations for food. The cheese corn was out of this world and having it made in front of you was quite the experience. I will definitely be back because I didn't experience a night life yet. There's so many other things. I'd like to try on the menu.

The vibes here are so chill and great for hanging out with friends for drinks! The drinks have such unique and fun names! The food had an interesting take as well.

I came here with a friend for Saturday late night food and we had around a 20 minute wait, so we just waited in the car. There's a lot of residential street parking nearby, so we just ended up chilling and waiting until they gave us a phone call. Fortunately we did not need to wait inside the store, since it was quite packed and the music was really loud. We actually didn't realize it was more of a drinks and dancing type place until it got later in the night and people started filling up the restaurant to dance. The menu is a little overwhelming, but we ordered the kimchi fried rice, the pocha shin ramen, and the bulgogi fries. The food took a little while to come out, but when it did it was piping hot and ready to eat! I enjoyed our food immensely. Service is a little haphazard since it became difficult to flag down our server to get our check later in the night but I understand, it is an overstimulating place to work. Overall I would come back here again if I was in Sac to try some more of their options (e.g KFC and sides like corn cheese)!

We went on Wednesday night and it wasn't busy at all. We also had a very big party. The place is nice and spacious with a separate bar towards the back. The bathroom is such a vibe and perfect for pictures. We ordered a bunch of food (Honorable Mentions: Rose Pasta and Bulgogi Fries). The Rose pasta was seriously delicious with the perfect amount of sauce and shrimp. My friends did say it was slightly too much of a tomato flavor, but I thought it was perfect. The Bulgogi fries were very crispy and had a fair amount of toppings. We ordered a bunch of drinks like the yogurt sojus which were so yummy. It is a very light drink because of the yogurt, so it is perfect for lightweights.

I came early on a Friday evening with little to no people there! The staff were finishing their cleaning, but we're really glad to help us. We ordered the makgeolli (rice wine) along with some food. The bulgogi fries & the soy garlic fried chicken were both solid options. They also have a DJ around 10 pm on the weekends if you're in for a more louder dinner experience. I definitely would come back here

For appetizers I usually get the seafood pancake, so I ordered one of those to share in addition to my cheese soondubu and my companion's kalbi. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when the pancake came out; it was like a foot in diameter and PACKED with squid and other goodies. The consistency was crisp yet fluffy. There were also about 12 different banchan, so something for everyone's tastes. The kalbi came out sizzling and was well seasoned. i enjoyed my tofu soup (medium spicy!) a lot, and the waitress was kind enough to crack the egg in for me. If I had to nitpick, the beef in my soup was a bit tough, but the flavor was excellent overall. Service was great! They even chill the little glasses for makgeolli for you. The lady helping us and the waiter were both pleasant, and I saw another lady who I think might have been the manager coming out to discuss recipes some of the other diners which was very cool.

First of all, the food served is exactly like the photos. I got the short rib bun burger and bulgogi gyoza. The burger (omg) had a balance of sweet and salty but also a little spicy. Halfway through I noticed something yellow, it was a pineapple! Usually I have mixed feelings about pineapple with foods like pizza. But this complimented so well. Now, the gyoza. Crispy and you can't go wrong with bulgogi. What I was surprised with was inside I think it was japchae! If you like Korean food like me, I was so excited to see this twist. And yes it was yummy. I seem to get lucky most times and get to meet the owners. That day I met them and they're so nice! I can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu, ingredients, decor, etc. The owners are Japanese and Korean. Hence KoJa! Even this detail was really impressive. I ended up going back because the owner told me that his wife (also owner) created Yang Nyum and it was really good and popular. So I got Yang Nyum, kamikaze fries, and taro boba. The portions were great. But most of all, he was right about Yang Nyum, delicious! I didn't realize the kamikaze fries had beef, so yummy but I definitely overate that day, lol. One other thing I really liked was you could order at the register or kiosk. This is a great way to avoid lines. Once you order they have a screen that shows your ETA (why do other restaurants not have this?). I did go during the day though. So, I can only imagine how amazing it looks at night. Especially after dancing or bar hopping, the food here would pair well. Koja also sells alcohol too though and apparently downstairs is where the dancing is at. Will I go here again, absolutely.

Best way to eat it is to pick it up and bite into it like you would a burger to get the full effect. As it turns out the bottom layer is white rice, next is a layer of glass noodles, then comes the can corned, a mixture of cabbage, and topped with the BBQ Beef. It was very tasty. A little on the spicy side, which made it just more flavorful. It wasn't mouth watering or eye tearing hot. It just had a little kick. The consistency of the meat reminded me of ground beef. It was very finely chopped strips. Overall it was really good. Very filling for the amount you get. It's more than we usually have for lunch. My husband had the chicken soy ginger. I had some and it was really good, but fried, so probably not as healthy as the BBQ Beef. It doesn't appear that they cook to order any food here, but they do scoop to order. From what I could see they sell a variety of Cupbop flavors, including a vegetarian option. They also sell sandwiches, salads, and a burrito. They have an ice water dispenser at the end of the counter with water cups. The vibe was interesting. You are surrounded by state worker from all different agencies all minding their own business. Many groups of 2-6 were eating together. There were less singles than groups.

When we walked in at 5:30 on a Tuesday we were the only people in the restaurant. We took a seat at…read morethe bar and the bartender seemed a little unfamiliar with the bar. When I asked what beers they had he pointed at the taps... Not helpful. We ordered a truffle oil pizza and some kimchi spring rolls. The spring rolls were huge, and just alright. The pizza was heavy on the truffle oil, I was tasting it the rest of the night. I ordered an old fashioned that he made more than would fit in the glass, and you couldn't taste the bourbon at all. He refilled my glass with what was left, which was a bit odd. Not a good old fashioned. The place itself is spacious and has interesting decor with a big semi truck sticking out of the wall and a ceiling mural. The music is 80s-90s rock, I think maybe it was going for a 90s grunge feel? This place was a last minute decision as our planned restaurant was closed on a Tuesday and I probably wouldn't go here again with so.many other choices on k street and around it.

Hands down one of if not THE best burger I've ever had. Wasn't sure what to expect when walking in…read moreas it was a huge space with few and small tables. I went simple and got the BPM burger with shoestring fries and holy moly. The juiciness, the seasoning, SO GOOD. My only regret is I didn't snap a photo cause I was like there's no way I'll need to do a review on this place. Boy was I wrong! I drove home to San Jose and raved about this spot to anyone who would listen! Can't wait to come back
