This restaurant, located in the Hilton Tapatio Cliffs resort, was quite a drive for us. We were lucky to find a spot right outside, but they're not too many parking spots directly in front of the restaurant. This place is lovely. There are beam ceilings and lots of dark wood and a big fireplace in the center of the room. There are tables and semicircle booths and the windows have pretty diamond panes. The crown and glory is the gorgeous bar with carved wood everywhere. It is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we sat down somebody brought us water and we looked the menus while we waited for our server. There is no cocktail menu, but there is a full bar. Our cocktails were very, very good. We ordered: *Lemon Drop cocktail *Amaretto Sour cocktail *Blackened shrimp tacos *Buffalo wings *Southwestern chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus Everything was very good. The wings were so large and saucy. I loved the sauce in my chicken breast. We were afraid that it would take a while to get our food because we came in just after a large party. We did not have to worry because everything came out and perfect time. The only negative is that they allowed a guest to being a barking dog (clearly not a service animal) into the bar. Uncomfortable to other guests (barking) and against health code. I hope to come back in winter because I'm sure this place is so cozy in a cool, dark night with a fire in the fireplace.

Stayed at the Hilton cliffs during a soccer tournament and we were given vouchers for pointe in Tyme. We made sure we used it every day because how could you go wrong with free breakfast? Unfortunately the first day their French toast was frozen! I had to tell a worker that they had to bring that batch back in just in case. Thankfully after that the rest of the days were good. I enjoyed their sausage, they had a charcuterie board and fresh fruits. We really liked their potatoes and my kids enjoyed their bacon and eggs. They also have breads /oatmeal/juices and an omelette station. The staff was attentive and super friendly. The place is a good size for diff size parties. We also loved the hotel! Overall a great experience

We made reservations to have a bite after seeing a Christmas show nearby. The menu had great comfort food items with a more upscale twist. The garlic fries and quesadilla were a big hit at our table. The staff were all really friendly and took pictures for us near the fireplace and Christmas tree. It was a warm and inviting place. I took one star away because the website address leads you to the hilltop restaurant. It's a more upscale place to eat. The staff there were unfriendly and of no real help to navigate us to the correct restaurant by the golf course. They just said it's down the hill to the right. Thankfully the hotel has nicer staff in some locations.

This is part of the hotel. We ate here for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet was good, omelette station and pretty much everything else you would see at a hotel breakfast layout. It was good and there wasn't much other breakfast places. Dinner was different. This day was Sunday so many of the guests have checked out so there wasn't a lot of people eating there. I ordered the smashed burger which was just a double burger not flattened. It was a typical premade burger and it was okay. The truffle fries were okay nothing special about them. My wife liked the club sandwich but interesting enough is that we lost our waitress towards the end of the meal so we had to wait for refills. The meal was okay since it was our last day and didn't want to go out.

Pointe in Tyme is a bit of an institution. It's got that old school dark wood that you don't expect to see in AZ but it's pretty cool. I was there for lunch recently and they just changed up their menu. It has a much better variety. Shared the hummus and chicken quesadilla apps and we all had salads for lunch which were really good. I just forgot to take a picture of my Greek Citrus Salad since I gobbled it up! Really good dressing with a little kick.

This was my second time here and I had a great experience. It wasn't busy at all, so I liked that we got to have a nice conversation without all the loud noise. Our server was very nice and attentive. The menu has changed since I last came in, and I was really pleased with what I ordered.

wonderful ambiance, very dinner club style. Really good service both times and excellent food! Would definitely stay there again and eat @ Pointe in Tyne

Unplanned visit to this Hilton Resort as a result of Airline challenges and this place helped put the evening back together. 3 of us in the party, we were seated promptly and with their Full Bar available, I opted for a Bulleit and Coke. The potato dipper appetizer was amazing! The potatoes were crispy enough to hold up under the toppings, but still fluffy enough for that potato goodness. The queso had great flavor and the pork was tender. The plate was scraped on this one. Lol The burger... my goodness! I ordered medium well and it was so juicy and seasoned well. Very enjoyable. Service was great also. Glad I was able to end the evening on a high note.

Food is not good. Do not order the reheated meatloaf or the the overdone fish. Poor beer selection. Place is an unmitigated disaster.

She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and checked on us just the right amount. We ordered two BEC sandwiches, which sadly are no longer on the menu, but wow, they were delicious! The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Instead of the greens, we opted for the Million Dollar Potatoes and they were super yum! Such a tasty choice and the perfect addition to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely breakfast experience. Thank you, Arely, for taking such good care of us. The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
