Got a regular size build your own poke bowl. Ingredients seemed fresh and a good variety of toppings. Sauces had good flavor to pull everything together. Prices are fair and on par. They have a nice little seating area right outside. Service was fine, not the friendliest worker but ya know - it's just a job for them.

It was pretty hot out this week and I was craving something cool and Poke was a no-brainer. It's a small joint, but perfect for takeout or delivery. 3-4 tables outdoors. The staff was super friendly and walked me through the options, throwing in some great recommendations when I asked. Its very similar to most Poke shop, nothing too crazy however they charge you extra for a lot of things. I got the regular (which is supposedly their "small"), it was massive! Price is on the higher end but that is Coronado beach side for you. Tons of topping choices, and the best part? You can load up on as many toppings as you want. Parking can be tough during peak hours - don't be afraid to park residential a block away and have a nice walk. Coronado is one of the safest little towns in San Diego!

This place is terrific! It is fairly priced for Coronado. And it is one of the best poke bowl I've ever had. They have a big choice of proteins, including different kinds of salmon and different kinds of ahi. They also have their own marinated ahi and salmon. They have a great choice of vegetables, including beets and a cubed Japanese vegetable. I got half of my base salad mix and the other half brown rice. This was so filling that I should just have gotten salad mix. With the medium bowl, that starts at $16, you get three different choices of proteins and then unlimited toppings. There are a few toppings that cost extra, like two dollars for a huge scoop of mash avocado. I have a big appetite, and I could not finish this bowl! Very tasty and absolutely worth visiting on Orange Avenue. They don't have the fanciest patio on the block, but you can eat something healthy and delicious outside. Very glad I came here!

On the way to beach, we stopped to grab poke bowl today and they have specials on Weekday depending on which day you come. The variety of fish were good and they have plenty of toppings. The bowl is HUGE! Our server was really nice too. They have few outdoor settings if you want but we took ours to the beach and ate there. 5/5 for kind service, quality of food, and price.

Found this place on Coronado Island because I wanted a true Sushi burrito with seaweed wrapper, not a flour tortilla wrapper like some places. It's called Norrito here. They even have Dole whip. They place is small and modern but they have outdoor seating only. The staff are helpful and friendly. They have a very good selection of proteins even grilled chicken, can you believe that? I like that they have a mixed ahi flavor. We custom made ours. They have a machine that pre-makes their seaweed rice wrapper. My son custom made his poke bowl. I also liked that they had roasted garlic as well as onions. Prices are very decent. Would definitely come back here again. [60R,2023]

was in Coronado dropping something off and was craving some poke. This place came up close by and I decided to stop by. They have a pretty big menu with lots of options. I was the only one in there when I went. I got the waves & wanted to try all 3. The worker was super sweet & helpful since it was my first time. It's a bit more on the pricey side so just know that prior to coming. The food was super good & very fresh. I got a side of the cucumber seaweed salad as well & it was delicious! I'd definitely go back to try some of the other items!

Surprised by this poke shop.. The ahi and salmon were fresh. The albacore tasted a bit fishy. They did not mix the sauce with the fish, instead the sauce was just drizzled over - I did not mind it though. The toppings are normal, edamame, seaweed salad, avocado (+$2). The jalapenos are a mix of green and red, I realllly like their jalapenos. Oh and they have mango salsa! The prices are representative of the area but I felt the serving size I got was satisfactory. The employee who helped me worked with a sense of urgency, was attentive and polite. The inside is nice and clean. There is also outside seating.

Honestly, the curtness of one of the employees really rubbed me the wrong way. Basically demanded that my wife stop leaning on the glass, that's fair. Then immediately instructed her to move down toward the register if she wasn't ordering food. Again, not terrible, but perhaps smile and make us feel like you actually care about our business. Solid place for Boba tea, but kindness and customer appreciation goes along way with me. Was not feeling that here so will not be back.

I moved away from California a couple of years ago, and so finding Poke is a treat now. I was so excited to try this place. I am not sure where there are not more recent reviews. The place was pretty popular with a constant line when we were ordering. The servers were very nice and efficient. The place was small, but we were still able to find a place to sit. I recommend this place if you are on Coronado island. Hopefully a new review will boost their popularity!

Zero consistency between employees. Guy A makes a bowl: literally picked out pieces of onions one at a time to give us no more than 6 little slices. Would scoop things then shake the scoop to make half of it fall out before adding to the bowl. Took so long to make a bowl that by the time we got to the register there was a line behind us. Guy B: scooped as normal, and caught up to Guy A at the register. Bowls should have been identical, other than sauces chosen. Bowl A was literally half the size as Bowl B. Irritating, to say the least. Guy A also made a single Cali roll for another in our party and took no less than 10 mins to do so.

Came here after beach day! Parking is only street parking but since it's located on the main street of Coronado, it's going to be hard to find a spot. they have outdoor seating that's pet friendly. I ordered build you own and got spicy tuna and octopus. I'm deducting a star for octopus and spicy tuna because it was very salty. I really needed more rice in my bowl to balance out the saltiness. However, the portion they have given me for my bowl was huge! I barley finished it all. Overall, there's a good selection of poke bowl you can make here and a lot of topping are free and portions are large.

poke was pretty fire, a BYO with 3 proteins ended up being around $18. seaweed is an extra $0.50 and avocado extra $2.00 so i didn't get it. the male employee with a brown bun, looks about 22-24, was rude with me. a bad day isn't an excuse to be rude. don't expect customers to know everything that you do. if you don't want to work here just quit

Staff was friendly and poke was fresh. Each scoop contains about 2.5oz of meat, so this was a great option for someone who is trying to be more health conscious and track their macros. They have lots of yummy sauces and toppings to add on. I split my base between brown rice and salad, added on a scoop of plain ahi and a scoop of spicy tuna, topped with veggies, and bam - a delicious healthy dinner. It's within a 10 minute walk to the beach so we grabbed dinner and caught the sunset. What a perfect way to end a weekend.

My favorite new place to eat in town. Healthy, fast and filling. I usually get a large bowl with poke 123, albacore, spicy tuna, at least. Careful because the spicy can be really spicy for some people. But for those who like it, they're jalapenos are always pretty darn fresh. read more

Unfortunately we only came in for the boba teas. Both the strawberry tea and the taro tea were overly sweet. Not to mention that the bobas were undercooked with a hard center. Poke and other drink options (beer and sake) look promising! read more

Some of the freshest poke I think I've ever tasted! Some quick service poke places aren't always top notch in terms of fish quality but this place was legit. I will be returning. I also really enjoyed the golden miso sauce, I wish more places had something similar! read more

Only spot in Coronado for takeout poke to my knowledge. It was what you expect from any poke place nothing special. I've gone during all parts during their hours as I am a poke fanatic. I was coming back to the island and I get there at 7:50 and the doors locked lights on with who ever working mouthing they're closed. Ok no big deal -- I come back after being gone for about a month off and on from vacation (Dec 2022) and bam new owners ramp up the prices. Everything that was included before is now extra, including masago, mango mix, imitation crab, and seaweed salad. My bowl used to be around $15 and no has sadly gone up to $20+. Side note all portions are inconsistent between staff. I am sad to say I won't be returning due to these reasons. read more

Quite disappointed with the milk tea boba. The tea is not strong, bit water down and it wasn't sweet. In addition, there's no taste to boba. For $6, rather save and skip. read more

I am a usual poke 1/2 customer, I absolutely love the flavor of sauce they get and the fact that a medium bowl with double EVERYTHING cost $13.99 MAX. Today I tried out poki 123, I got the medium bowl with double everything and paid approximately $18. The food was ok until I cooked on a pice of fish bone! It was a big piece as well. It was so big that I 'm still trying to figure out if it was bone or plastic.... service is always happy but takes about 10-25 mins for a single bowl depending on who's on staff. I feel the service is great but the owners and management need to narrow down and focus more on safety and satisfaction. Picture of bone next to finger to show size. read more

Got my First poke bowl ever here, and I was impressed with the quality of fish and cleanliness of the restaurant. Price ranges from 12-15 for a bowl. Staff was nice but could be better at helping out with choices. Overall a great experience! read more

I've been waiting for this location to open and finally had a chance to stop in today. I am a big fan of poke and really like this one. I often visit a different poke place close to work which is good but that chain doesn't offer seasoned fish and simply pouring the sauce over doesn't provide much flavor. Poke 123 offers a number of 123 fish options that are nicely seasoned and very flavorful. I also appreciated the high quality of the salad base and great variety of toppings. Beets and pickled veggies are super yummy and everything was extremely fresh. Great addition to Coronado and I know it will be a hit as the weather warms up and we get more visitors. This is my favorite place in SD to grab a vegan veggie bowl - they use tofu and other veggie toppings like seaweed salad and dried seaweed to create that delicious sea flavor. They use vegan mayo. I had a large-sized bowl - Big enough to have leftovers. Just a heads up - the imitation crab salad is not vegan, it uses fish. read more

Sushi...in a bowl... That's what this place is and while it sounds like it might be weird, for some odd reason it just works. I couldn't eat my food fast enough. That was actually disappointing because I wanted it to last longer but I will just have to go again. All the ingredients are fresh, healthy, flavorful, and just down right delicious. Give it a try. The prices are decent and you get a ton of food. Really helpful friendly staff as well. read more

The only Poke place I will eat at...as well as the IB location. I placed an order online last night, without realizing that all of Orange would be shut down for the Christmas event. I obviously couldn't drive on Orange or find parking anywhere on Coronado. This place has some pretty big portions! The online ordering form is easy to navigate and offers a lot of toppings with hardly any limits. Pickup during COVID was handled very well, you park in the back and call/text them to bring your food out to the car. Happy to know the local poke place kicks ass. read more

I visited this location and had an absolutely terrible experience. I came in around an hour before they closed and the woman with the short pink and blue hair working there was acting extremely rude. She barely filled the bowl and every time she asked me what I wanted she acted very annoyed. After I purchased the bowl she literally threw the change into my hand. But more importantly the food was terrible! The fish smelt and tasted rotten- it was definitely spoiled. I'm just hoping I don't get sick from this place. Such a horrible experience coming here, I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I got the poke bowl and the naritto. The poke bowl was a solid 5/5. I'm usually skeptical about trying raw fish especially at new places so I got shrimp instead. It was amazing, very flavorful and everything tasted so fresh! The naritto was a 3/5, it was similar to the bowl but you cant taste everything inside it as much as you can in the bowl! Overall recommended! read more

Boba tea was very watery and bland, not milky or creamy at all. The Mochi layer of the ice cream was gritty instead of chewy. Poor customer service. Walked in the restaurant and the server walked away from me into the back. Didn't say anything. I waited a minute and someone else came out. Didn't seem interested in answering my questions. read more

I got white rice with spicy tuna and salmon. I loved it! It tasted fresh and all the other sides were just how I wanted them. I was able to sample items before trying and the service was great. Will be back! read more

It's an order at the counter with a small seating area inside and a nice patio outdoors. Purchase & provided a number. Not only do that have their famous lobster rolls, but they also have additional signature sandwiches, specialty soups, salads and home made cole slaw as just one of their side options. Most people here order the classic lobster roll as did I. That said, you can also customize your roll, plus they offer shrimp and crab choices too! Not to long of a wait, but keep in mind ALL orders are made "fresh to order", so if they're busy it can take a little longer. Presentation was nice and sandwiches are served with a slice of fresh lemon that brightens the taste. The highlight was the decadent butter fried roll. It was warm, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can taste the butter in each bite. They provide fresh cold water that you can serve yourself which was welcome with the warm weather. Additionally, they have soda and lemonade. It could be considered a bit pricey, but everything I was eating on my San Diego trip near the beach is. Service was friendly and they brought my meal to my table which was nice. Would definitely go again. Note-There are two other locations in the San Diego area. If you have to use the restroom there is not one inside their establishment, it's a few buildings down and they will provide you a key and directions.

The broth was oddly sour, and nearly all of the shellfish was overcooked. I almost spit the calamari out. It was that bad. The shrimp was good, and the chunks of fish were decent, but overall this dish was a huge miss. At almost $50, it's hard to justify. They either need to go back to the drawing board or take it off the menu. The standout was the daily cherry sorbet. WOW. Easily some of the best sorbet I've ever had. One random thing: whatever linen they use sheds everywhere. I loved how soft it felt until I walked outside and realized I was covered in lint. Would I come back? No. That said, it was still a lovely dinner with family. The ambiance was nice, and the service was genuinely exceptional. If you're coming for the hospitality, you'll probably leave happy. If you're coming for the cioppino, I'd strongly recommend ordering something else.

The restaurant is located near the water and is highly popular among tourists and locals. There is a decent size paid parking lot at the back, but finding a spot may be tough. Taking Uber may be a better option. When we arrived, the restaurant had a line but was moving quickly. The menu was written on the board and customers ordered at the counter. Water was self served and waiters would bring out your food when ready. Both indoor and outdoor dining areas were available. For dinner, I had the seafood stew for $31, which had ample seafood in a flavorful tomato based broth. A warm baguette was served on the side. My husband had the fish and chips for $14. He said the fried fish was slightly soggy, but he enjoyed his meal. Overall, the restaurant felt authentic and the food was of solid quality. The prices here are unbeatable with the fresh ingredients and serving sizes. Can't wait to return to try other dishes. Highly recommend!

Service was ok, it took forever for the server to just come up to greet us, to the point the hostess went and got waters for us. Again not the normal for this establishment, but still very blah and disappointing. For how expensive things are I would not eat here again. Normally we would visit numerous times in during or time here.

I ordered a strawberry and banana crepe, was charged appropriately for requesting extra fruit, then waited about 15 minutes. My order was ready as promised but when I got home (Chula Vista) I discovered that I didn't get the bananas. Annoying to be charged for something I didn't get and it was too far to return. One star for service, 3 for the food, overall 2 stars. I can't recommend it and won't return.

Out of all of the Poke restaurants in San Diego, this is my favorite by far. The friendly staff, great food, and even best, vegan, gluten free options make me want to come back. Even better, the dole whip here is the real deal!
