I was excited to come to Poke Ichii when I saw the rare tea signs advertising Boba. I was not disappointed. I got a strawberry milk tea with oat milk, which was amazing and decently priced. We really enjoyed our lunch at Poke Ichii! There are SO many options to choose from from the base of the bowl, different rices, salads, toppings, proteins, garnishes and sauces. The fish was very fresh tasting and super yummy. When we had stopped in last I heard they were opening a shop in Woodland which I hope fingers crossed that it's still happening? I liked their variety but something is lacking. I'm going to compare this place to Okashi because they're relatively close. This place -mixes the fish with the ponzu and the sauce (so make sure u ask for it separately on the top) -their smallest bowl has 3 scoops of protein which is comparable to Okashis large bowl with 2 scoops at the same price. So you get an extra scoop at this place. -the size of the bowl seems larger too -they have seared tuna which I don't think they have at Okashi -they have more non-poke dishes like the salmon bake and unagi bowl. -they don't provide water so you'll need to buy water Overall I prefer Okashi over this place, mainly because the sauces and toppings were better, but here you get a bit larger portion. The salmon bake was good but I'm a bit irritated there's only one scoop of fish in the center of the bake. This place is still relatively good though. read more

I had a craving and we decided to check this place out. Hello Poke! I ordered a regular bowl over greens. It did not disappoint! Plenty of protein options- including some seared and bbq ones, plenty of add ins too. I felt the serving was generous for me. If you don't want to customize your bowl, check out the signature bowls that already pick out proteins and add ins. Service was great...very friendly and patient with us trying to figure out what we wanted. There is limited seating both indoors and outdoors. I came for Poke and somehow left with JUST Boba. As a somewhat overwhelmed person - the two menus left me absorbing too much. I know how a lot of reviews mention how great the Poke is. I didn't try it, because I was just too overwhelmed with the menu. The conjunction of Rare Tea and Poke Ichii makes for a confusing ordering experience. In my own opinion from my experience, I love boba drinks but I felt like I would have ordered poke if I was not drawn away to think so much. I got my drink, sat down and drank it, pondering the menu. By that time I was already done and uninterested. The separate process of ordering Boba & Poke leaves me puzzled. I don't know what their plans are, but I think having two different registers or streamlining the ordering process would make it easier. Maybe have a QR order system for Boba so the poke ordering is easier. It's tough when everything sounds good! Gotta know what options are with a ease. Also -- put your boba straws closer to where customers pick up their drinks. It's just a little weird to get your straw far from the pickup counter. read more

She didn't wash her hands before making the order (after touching a bunch of stuff on the counter, wiping it down etc.), nor did she put gloves on. We're new fans! We found them on DoorDash and decided to give them a chance after the spam handroll and wide variety of poke bases caught our eye. The portions are generous, the fish is fresh, and the variety is impressive! Since it was our first time we spent a few min reviewing the menu. The gentleman behind the counter took my order and was friendly enough however the woman who helped my husband was clearly annoyed that he was taking a bit to clarify some items our daughter wanted by phone. Mind you there was no other customers in the store and your business hours are until 8, so why the annoyance? I popped in on this joint while shopping in Vacaville. At the time it was fairly new. The service was great. I was advised of how their bowls work, was given recommendations and told a little about the company. For the most part everything I ate was fine, but the fish was a little fishy (which means not the absolute freshest). I am Hawaiian and am used to fresh traditional style poke, but this is good for a fix. I'll likely try them again, and hope I don't run into the same issue. read more

This is by far the worst location customer service wise I have ever been too. There is only one girl in here who is nice and helpful. Go to Okashi in Vacaville instead. That was the first good sign. The second was the service being extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
