I like their California rolls and the black garlic ramen. My husband likes their steak with garlic noodles. This place is always a hit! Just if you don't like loud places the acoustic can be a little loud on game days or if it's packed. But there's the option to take it to go and enjoy your food in your environment.

Of the entire night only two couples (high school age) same as the host had reservations and were seated immediately. No check-in on the iPad no confirming the name. Just walk in greet with smiles and handshakes and straight to a table. However, I was told to make a reservation it has to be made the day of and before 4pm. Find this hard to believe so I asked 3 different servers how to make reservations and they started, "unsure" "idk if we do reservations" "I'll have to ask" were the answers I got. Could be me but sounds like the host kid is lying. Service started off strong. We sat and within 5 minutes the server came by to take our drink order at which time we also placed our food order. Drinks took 10mins, food took over an hour. We placed drink and food at 4:44 and food came out and hit our table at 5:51 Anyway I'll never be back and this was my 3rd time here. With each visit the experience got worse.

First and foremost, I'd like to give a huge thank you to Jeanette for being such a wonderful host…read moreand treating us like family. She is a key reason as to why we want to keep coming back; her attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic. Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved every dish we ordered. Their wonton soup is an excellent choice for a starter and can be shared up to at least 3 people. The wontons are fresh and tasty, the mushrooms are chunky and complement well with the bakchoy. There's even thinly sliced red pork which adds some taste and texture to the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed their spicy Mongolian chow fun. This had some sweetness to it but also some heat which was just right. The beef was super tender! It melts in your mouth. My wife ordered the Sun Kitchen sushi special which was delicious and had big pieces. The quality of sushi here is great! My son enjoyed his bento box which consisted of teriyaki grilled chicken, salad with creamy sesame dressing and then large pieces of vegetable tempura. This is an excellent deal with a good amount of choices to choose from. Jeanette and Tony frequently stopped by to check on us and made sure our meals were good and our drinks were refilled. They are so accommodating and inviting. The music they were playing in the background was on point! They were playing smooth R&B in which me and my wife were dancing. It's spacious inside the restaurant and can hold a good amount of guests. I will say, I wish the temperature was cooler inside; it was a bit warm but didn't really bother us. We can't wait to come back! We love this place!

Ordered a Beef teriyaki bento box but the meat looked like boiled meat. It was sad and gross looking. My daughter ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento box and she didn't touch the whole fish. Flavorless and No teriyaki sauce in sight! We brought the meat home to our dog, at least it didn't go to waist. We also ordered a Beef Chow Fun that was taken to another table and then the dish was sent back and guy walked over to place it on our table. I guess they don't care about cross contamination! I had to send it back. We ordered two beef Udon soups that never came. By then we just asked for our check. It took them a long time to bring us our check and also to ring us up. Sadly won't be returning. We should have just went with our original plan to dine at Misaka. Seems like this restaurant is ran by Chinese people and probably should just stick with Chinese food. Stop trying to serve two different food genres and then botch it!

I haven't had Korean BBQ in a very long time. I was invited to a birthday celebration to this…read moreplace. I had never heard of it. I think it's fairly new. So it's Korean BBQ, all you can eat. Eat all the meat you can: they serve beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp. And all the sushi and sides that come with it too. If you're familiar with Korean BBQ then you know the sides are the best. My favorite sides were Kimchi, Bean sprouts, cucumber and potatoes. The service was great! Sometimes they may take a while to get to you but they will not forget you. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining (with beautiful water fountains outside). Price: I think it might be pricey for some but it's totally worth it for all the food you get. Entertainment: You can expect karaoke singing! I don't sing but I love the entertainment. The manager Rex was very nice to accommodate our huge party. He had this great smile and great energy to match our group! Honorable mention - thank you Steve for playing the Sax. A bonus entertainment. Tips: This restaurant is located in a golf course so it might be confusing to find at first. But if you have the correct address you will get there. Thank you to Rex and staff for the hospitality and for not rushing us out when it was near closing time! Until next time...

Palm Tree Restaurant & Sushi is a Japanese-Korean American fusion eatery. They do a reasonably…read moredecent job in preparing the Korean and American foods. I've only tried the Korean and Japanese dishes. So this review will be focused on what we ordered. Gskbi - 3.5/5 The Galbi was tasty and marinaded properly. The ribs has many strands of costal cartilage throughout the meat that made parts of the ribs tough. Some ribs were also very fatty. Otherwise, the Galbi was decent. Bento Box - 4/5 Not a bad selection. The teriyaki chicken was tasty and the sides of salad, edamame, japchae, etc were all good. Overall, I feel that if they concentrated on a struct Korean food menu, they can focus on what they do well. Doing an American fusion menu where you can order a cheese burger, or a bulgogi burger might appeal to a few golfers that might visit Palm Tree as their 19th hole, but might be confusing. Palm Tree has potential to be a very good Korean/Japanese restaurant if they eliminate the American dishes.
