Clean tables and restaurant. The crew comes out to wipe the tables very frequently. Fresh seafood and decent pricing. The spicy mayo has adequate heat and just to our liking. Many toppings to choose! The milk tea and frapp counter is just next to the poke counter, so it is convenient to order the milk tea first then the poke.

This is my first time at this poke place. We ordered takeout for my coworkers birthday on 12/12/24. I ordered the medium poke bowl with tuna, spicy tuna and salmon. The food itself didn't taste bad and they even had a small bag of ice on top to keep it cold. When I was halfway through my meal I noticed a small worm in the food.( see attachment). At first I thought it might be some seasoning, but my coworkers verified it's definely not rice. The object in question is segmented and darker at the ends. I was too disturbed to eat the rest of my meal and likely won't be back in the near future. If it's any consolation, my sushi chef friend told me it's likely from the rice and not the fish. The worm was dead and not moving.

I come to this place all the time but I don't know if I'll be coming back here as often. I understand that they have to raise the price due to inflation but to cut the serving portion is just a slap in the face. 3 protein pick with all the sides still looks half empty on my bowl... very disappointing.

A decent poke place. Staff is nice and definitely do their best not to skimp you. A good amount of seating and if you're getting to-go, you get a ziploc of ice wooooo. Got the salmon and tuna. Salmon was fresh and tasty. Tuna a little bit mushier than would like but not bad. They have a good amount of toppings and dressings. Fun fact, they have chopped mangos for a topping which is a bit different. They also have a stamp card and you get a free bowl on your 10th visit. They're also in the same location as a matcha ice cream shop so you can get your lunch and dessert ayyy. Overall, nothing remarkable but nothing bad either. Pretty solid if you want poke.

This place used to be amazing! And I still love their poke if they can ever get my online order right. Every time I make an online order they either forget my whole entire order or forget something. One time I had ordered poke salad and miso soup. Went to pick up my order they only had miso soup. Today I ordered again and they got everything g right but missing the sauce. Now I'm stuck eating dry poke salad. Please do better again! It's really a great place but they cannot get online orders correct! read more

Great place. Great selection and this restaurant fills a void in choices of restaurants in San Clemente. Three sizes. Choose between brown rice and white rice. I chose large because I hadn't eaten yet. Choice of ten proteins. I chose fresh tuna, spicy salmon, spicy tuna and another serving of fresh tuna. Four proteins for large. Three proteins for medium. I don't care for tofu or octopus and the other choices. I added seaweed salad, crab,edamame, masago, ginger and avocado ($1 extra) and I let them choose the sauces. Top w/Furikake and dry seaweed. It was fantastic. Got some wasabi on the side. Great portion side. I highly recommend. Very fresh. read more

I revisited this place after a questionable initial experience and came away feeling much better about the place. First off; the fish was fresh, the first time it was not. I resolved my initial problem of the Poke sauce being too sugary by not having them use it and using pure soy sauce instead. The manager must have recognized me as he went out of his way to take care of me and offered me a free iced tea. The portion was generous and overall I was satisfied. read more

This poke bowl spot is a makes your own poke bowl. You have the options of various cooked and uncooked proteins. I particularly don't like raw fish so went for the shrimp, tuna crab mix with seaweed salad, ginger, crab, cucumber, and spicy mayo topping and volcano sauce. It was fresh and delicious. read more

Yessss I found my new lunch spot. Great service, fresh food. Delicious. 5stars!! It's like having 2 rolls for the price of one. Actually cheaper. I ordered the small bowl with brown rice, salmon, shrimp, cilantro, crab meat, cucumbers, and so many toppings I can't name them all for 9.99. I'm half ways done and I'm already full. I eat here at least once a week and I love it but i'm giving it 3 stars because new employees need to be trained better. The prices went up which I am fine with but new people tend to make your bowl half the size and majorly skimp out on toppings. Its frustrating paying more to get less and it happens quite often. read more

Good experience at Poke Tiki. Employees could be friendlier and more caring, but the service was satisfactory. Cleanliness was sub-par. Prices were a little steep for the product. I like the customizable bowl style restaurant though. Not sure how long this establishment has been open, but it seemed pretty dead in there for 6pm on a Saturday. This place was nothing fancy, but I'll be back. read more

Been going here for the last 5 years. It has always been good but now the prices are ridiculous and there is no point in ordering a large or even medium bowl. They have become so stingy with everything. Not just the fish but the basics, rice and salad is cheap. Don't bother asking for more, all you get is dirty looks and MASSIVE added costs. A decent bowl will set you back well over $20. Recommend Find another place. read more

They were my go to poke. But when I ordered through DoorDash and they completely screwed it up. I'm done. I ordered 3 bowls, they gave the DoorDash 1 bowl. My dasher went back and they said they were closed. They taunted him while he was outside. I called them literally right before 8 and they said oh well, sorry we're closed now. Just completely rude. Bad attitudes for their mistake. read more

Poke Tiki is my new go to place for amazing poke in south OC. Their bowls are delicious! They offer so many amazing toppings at no extra charge and the freshness has always been spot-on. The bowls are huge and very reasonably priced, not to mention the staff is always so lovely and prepares them with care. I highly recommend trying out all of their homemade sauces and if you like spice as much as I do....try the Volcano #3....it's fantastic! I also love that the matcha bar in there is the perfect post meal treat! Definitely check out Poke Tiki for the best poke bowls in town...you won't regret it. :) read more

Been ordering and eating here for almost 3 years. Food was good. I would always leave a tip but this time that service was bad. I ordered a drink but forgot to give me one the server(seems a new guy) was too distracted checking out on a customer. When I went back to him that he forgot to give me my drink he told me to just get it myself. read more

Some of the best poke out there. They have sooooo many options and add ons. I love this poke place and I have tried almost all the poke spots in OC. My favorite thing about them is their unique sauces. They have traditional sauces but also special ones like wasabi cilantro! Yum!!!! And such friendly workers. Great spot. read more

I am in a sushi/poke craze right now. This is soooo good! They fish was incredibly fresh, the salmon melts in your mouth. My bowl was prepared with expert hands. What is also great is they have lots of gluten-free options. Most of the fish is not marinated and that makes it's so that people with celiac have an easier time eating. Most of the toppings are gluten-free and the one sauce that is gluten-free is amazing! (Wasabi Cilantro) they even have gluten-free soy sauce. It hit the spot right after a workout. I will definitely go again. read more

I feel like poke has gotten so mainstream, that many locations don't taste as fresh or that good anymore. I've driven by Poke Tiki many times, and finally decided to give it a try. Let me just say, I am LOVING IT. Fish tastes fresh, my half brown/half white rice isn't hard, and their topping options are awesome! I am a creature of habit, so I got the usual salmon and tuna with avocado (extra $1, as most places are), cilantro, cucumber, sesame seeds, and crunchy onions. I am really happy they have spicy sauces--volcano 1, 2, and 3! I went with a spicy mayo and a volcano 2. Perfect amount of spice. The ONLY thing I could suggest is for them to chop their cilantro up more finely. Other than that, I will be coming back with my stamp card! read more

I have worked in this area for 13 years and in all those years, I have never been as excited as I was today to eat my lunch. This bowl is beautiful! They were so friendly and patient with me being a brand new customer and having never ordered a bowl before. They offered plenty of different sauces for me to try, happily gave multiple scoops of my favorite toppings, AND, the to-go comes with a little ice pack so it's still cold when you reach your destination. Tried this for the first time last week and its deliscious. The sushi is great...lots of yummy toppings and choices and the people are really friendly. And because it is on the lake you can take it down and watch the water on a bench or sit in the big courtyard that's been setup outside. They also have Tofu if you aren't a sushi eater. I loved it and will go back for sure. Added bonus that you feel really healthy eating here. read more

PARKING: There is a small lot but also street parking right next to the spot. SERVICE: they were really nice, and quite fast! PRICE: about $12.99 for a regular and $16.50 for a large. Overall, pretty solid spot to get your poke at! I'd recommend if you are more into Hawaii style type of poke.

To top it often the service was horrible. Two men working there were throwing metal containers and slamming stuff, and were so rude to customers. Any poke place that had a promotion for free poke if you finish some $60 worth of it poke is not a quality establishment. We will never be back.

The lot was about half full at 5pm on a Sunday. The dining room is small. There are five or six tables, and some seating at the sushi bar. It does have a nice feel with the round interior, high ceiling, and many windows with a nice view outside. There was some light background music playing. It wasn't busy this early, but it started to get busier after 5:30pm. We started out with the four piece jalapeno poppers ($10). These were very good. The jalapenos were crisp, stuffed with cream cheese, with two sauces drizzled on top. I think there was also a little spicy tuna on top. Next, we ordered a California roll ($8) and a spicy tuna roll ($9). These were good standard rolls with fresh ingredients, and reasonably priced, especially for the area. It might seem a little expensive, but it a roll with no rice. It was excellent, and well worth the money. If you love citrus like I do, you have to try it. I have never had pink lemon before. It's still tart but sweeter than a yellow lemon and less sweet than a Meyer lemon. Our server was friendly, and our food arrived promptly. We would return again when in the area. I checked out the menu, which had me at brisket, and I committed to eating there as soon as possible. As soon as possible was the next day. I tried the brisket, which was fantastic! It was moist and tender without being fatty. And, it had a great smoky flavor. I went back to Drift four times that week, including twice in one day. Everything I have tried has been great - the pulled pork, beef rib (absolutely amazing) and turkey. I haven't tried the chicken or pork ribs yet, but I plan to very soon. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the bbq baked beans are among, if not the best, I have ever eaten. Service at Drift has always been really friendly. The environment is casual and fun (at times a little too noisy for me, but I'm pretty old and have a little trouble hearing conversation in noisy environments). I'm so glad I looked past my initial perception of Drift and gave it a try. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in San Clemente.

Yet, this place was still pack and parking was full. (We found street parking near Starbucks) I had my staff placed our name down since she lives closer, but they won't see you until all your party is here and that's fine. We ended up seating at the bar and left the booth for other parties. Love the teamwork, the staff were super stars doing a rush like that, let me tell you it PACKED HOUSE and we got our food and drinks on time, no one in my party had to wait to eat and I forgot to take pictures of my staff meals, only took mines and what I got for the table to share was a croissant french toast, which I believe was their special of the day. I got the chicken fried steak and the portion are MASSIVE!!! All of us took our food home because the portion size are insanely big and bang for the buck!! Great place to eat breakfast or brunch or even a 'Team Building Breakfast Time' LOL Just happy to treating out my amazing staff on their work. Poki Tiki is my go-to spot for poke near the office. Nothing wrong with the place--clean, fresh offerings, and their Volcano Sauce #2? That's the stuff. But here's the thing: the portions, while generally generous, have a bit of a roulette vibe depending on who's behind the counter. Doesn't bother me much, but it's worth mentioning. So, why not five stars? Well, there's something... missing. The servers? Not exactly brimming with charisma. The lighting? A little drab, like it can't decide if it's a doctor's office or a restaurant. Most poke spots have this light, breezy vibe, but Poki Tiki? It's just kind of there. Please enforce food safety training requirements in the state of California -- this seems like a widespread problem. I shouldn't have had to go through all that. And every time a customer has to point out something that should already be covered by basic food safety training, it's the customer who ends up looking like the difficult one -- not the restaurant that's at fault. I don't want someone's DNA in my food while I'm paying to patronize their business. That shouldn't happen.

Also, a "white mushroom roll." I am seated in the corner like a tiny, judgmental raccoon with a giant bottle of Sapporo all to myself. It's my birthday. I deserve structural support. especially after the concrete declaring war? please. The no-rice sushi? Best I've had in the U.S. Except they used rice paper. Rice paper. Which is technically not, not, rice. But I'll allow it. Innovation is chaotic but smart. Now. The White Mushroom Roll--there were *no* mushrooms. let me repeat **NO** mushrooms Our server, Ary--Greek name, Mexican excellence, monk-level patience--explains that the roll is topped with a mayo cap before baking so it looks like a mushroom. I am a proud mushroom enthusiast. A fungal loyalist. I felt betrayed. But then... I tasted it... Why did it taste like clam chowder? Decadent. Creamy. Slightly illegal clam chowder. In sushi form. What coastal witchcraft is this? I was confused. I was impressed. I was emotionally unstable. At some point while chatting with Ary (probably lobbying for actual mushrooms), I casually mention it's my birthday. At the end of the meal... He returns with an ice cream platter and looks me dead in the eyes: "お誕生日おめでとう." (HBD) In Japanese. No warning. No drumroll. Just Ary, you icon. and a candle. So there I am. Five feet tall. In the corner. Singing "Happy Birthday" to myself because Tall Redwood Man is too shy?? Sir?? It is my birthday. You are 87 feet tall and afraid of melody? It's fine. It's ok. He did sing "Happy Birthday" ten times that day. (Nine times too many. but appreciated everytime, nonetheless) Overall review: Fish: surprisingly legit Mushroom: nonexistent Clam chowder sorcery: unsettling but delicious Sapporo: emotional support received Tall date: needs steering lessons Would I order the mushroom roll again, knowing it contains zero mushrooms? ...Unfortunately, yes.

I thought the Thai Basil Cashew Chicken was the best with a nice balance of flavors. (Although having lived in Thailand, it definitely wasn't Thai food.) The Tofu vegetables was also good. The Orange Chicken, though, was a bit of a miss. Not much orange flavor and the chicken was on the soggy side. The food is solid although without the spice levels that Asian food should have. The portion sizes are huge and are good value. For take out food, I think it's a good option if you're hungry and don't want to spend much.
