It's been a long time that I haven't stop by here, was in some major poki craving tonight and I just had to get some. It's been like a year or so that I haven't been back (I'm sorry. Been busy with work but definitely will be coming back more often now) and still haven't changed. If anything, it's the same. Services was amazing, the fish quality is the best, never once hat I have gotten sick here. When I went to check out, they always ask if it's here or to go, if you say for to go, they always put in a bag of ice so your poki doesn't go bad. Like I said in my previous review, this is probably the only place that does this. Not even project poke in fountain valley does it, and I used to go to that one many times before I moved out in San Clemente. Keep it the good work guys. Been coming here for a few months now I just recently moved here, I get the same thing every single time I come and I have never once been charged for extra Masago. Today I go in and I asked for extra Masago like usual and she charges me for it without letting me know that there was an extra charge for an extra scoop of a non-fish topping. I feel like that is something you're supposed to tell your customers before hand... because I wouldn't have gotten the extra Masago if I knew I was gonna be charged a Full dollar for it. it's not like I got avocado there's a sign saying avocados are a dollar extra, there's a sign saying an additional scoop of fish is extra, but there's no sign thing an extra topping like Masago or seaweed salad or corn is a dollar extra that's ridiculous. read more

We've been here multiple times. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The staff is very pleasant and happy. There are points when we've come in and there has been a sudden influx of people all at the same time, so it can get busy. The staff is pretty good at getting everyone's order through quickly, while at the same time being careful to make sure your order is right. read more

Super experience! Online ordering is a breeze, especially with Apple Pay enabled! Easy to choose bowl size, fish and many add ins! Good thing we got smalls! These bowls are big! Fresh fish, tasty sauces, ripe not rotten avocado, great quality ingredients. Store is covid compliant and to go orders are ready on tables on the side wall. They even put a bag of ice in! This place is the bomb, gets me & the wife full and satisfied being that it's a healthy spot to eat at for lunch/dinner. Although I will say there are times where they are stingy with the proteins, recently I got a large bowl and asked for double tuna and double salmon which in my mind would have been 4 scoops of tuna and 4 of salmon, but the employee only gave me four scoops total(2 tuna, 2 salmon) but when I usually get 4 DIFFERENT proteins they always give me two scoops of each which doesn't add up and is very noticeable when they do so. Me and my wife don't like to be the ones to ask for more because we have seen people rudely ask for more. We don't want to seem like those type of customers that give employees a hard time, love this spot but all we ask for is to not be stingy to the loyal customers that come to this place on the weekly sometimes daily :/ Also, lastly, military discount would be nice, being that the price went up. Used to go here pretty often, around once a week. Just went for the first time in a couple weeks though and they said they don't carry gluten free soy sauce anymore. The worker goes 'but we have low sodium soy sauce'. I'm sorry, but I dgaf. Low sodium soy sauce is not gluten free and I am celiac. It's not like I just choose to not eat gluten. I will literally be crying in so much pain and vomiting if I eat gluten. Probably won't be back. read more

It's really good. There are a TON of poke places around. Anyone can slice up some ahi, salmon and albacore and throw it on some rice. Ponzu isn't exactly groundbreaking sauce. I judge these places on a couple things: price and octopus. You get four protein toppings and a ton of great add ons included in the $12.99. I added the avocado for &1 and I got a lot of avocado. It was worth it. So my second critique is always about the octopus. If it's fishy and chewy then I probably won't go back to a place. Poke Tiki had fresh, flavorful, and tender octopus. The whole thing was great, but the octopus stood out. I work nearby and I'll be back. I have NO idea what the appeal of Board and Brew is so this place is the A1 option for me in the neighborhood. read more

I didn't rate this place so low because of the food but because of the staff. About two weeks ago the girl that took my order didn't pay attention to what I said and put the wrong ingredients into my plate.even though I was the only customer in line she rushed me through. Today I was in line and the guys working there clearly saw I was waiting yet they seemed much more interested in whatever conversation they were having. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone solely because of the customer service. I thought maybe having a bad experience once could've been just that but it's a pattern with this place. Best Poke in Orange County, period. Great selection of produce, large portions and chucks of fish, always consistent and fresh. The line moves fast, environment is clean, staff is friendly, and the AC is always cool inside. It's also worth noting that they have the best quality bamboo chopsticks found anywhere. This is especially nice because nobody wants the taste of nasty cheap wood splintery chopsticks messing up the flavor of quality fish! They also have signature spicy "Volcano" sauces which are all excellent -from mild to 'actually' spicy! Another awesome perk, is that they pack your to-go orders with ice to keep the fish fresh.
