Pokestuf is my number one poke place to go to. I always order the same thing to go home to eat and it's always the best! Staff are friendly and quick. Place is nice and cozy to eat. I shared my order with my family and they love it!

Awesome and yumm! I got the poke and spam musubi. All of the ingredients are fresh and they are generous with their portion. I would definitely come back !

literally my go to poke place!! I love this place soooo muchhhhh. the soba noodles with the fish always hit and with the sauce . the fish is pretty fresh although there would be times where it would be a bit chewy or a lil fishy. I never had problems with the spicy tuna tho!

Located on a corner on Main Street, it might be easily missed. Pokestuf is the only Poke shop close by so I'm surprised that I never see it packed. We live in the neighborhood and had always wondered if it was any good. Lunch time last week presented the opportunity and we finally remembered Pokestuf was on our list of places to visit. Nice girls working the register and food prep. Only one other person was there so we were able to place our order right away. The typical choices from categories: pick your base, protein, sauces, toppings etc. I do with they have more options for protein. There were 3 fish available only. No shrimp or crab meat or scallops available. There is garlic shrimp available for an additional $2. There additional fees for adding seaweed salad. Free parking is available on the street or a parking lot behind the building. It was a little pricey for the portion size. Taste was okay. I was hoping to be wow'd and find our new regular poke spot. Sadly that was not the case.

spicy salmon, spicy mayo, ponzu, all the sides besides masago eggs, and it's half white rice &mixed greens.

This is the SPOT!!! Located on the corner of Main Street in Alhambra!!! It is small inside and can get pack real quick during lunch hours, but, they are quick! The poke is fresh, not fishy, the sauce is delicious, and they are not stingy with their portion, which I LOVE!!!! You get to pick more than one base! Then your fish, and as many sides as you want!!! Yum!!!! They are very friendly and provide amazing customer service.

Yes. I ordered for pickup few times

    When are you guys reopening?

We have reopened as of this week.

I am literally heartbroken that this place closed. Any idea where they get their sauces or what was in them?

Pokestuf is not closed, we were just there on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

The gravy is so good it could make you reconsider long-held political beliefs and peacefully change governments. I'm not saying treaties have been signed over this gravy, but I'm not ruling it out either. The over easy egg breaking into the rice and burger patty is basically poetry. Every bite feels like a warm hug from somebody's Hawaiian grandma. And the Spam musubi? Those things scream my name every time I walk through the door. I tell myself I'm just coming for the loco moco and somehow a musubi magically appears in front of me. Science can't explain it. Consistently delicious food, huge portions, and the kind of place that turns into a regular stop before you even realize it. 5 billion stars. If Yelp won't let me give more than five, that's a limitation of the platform, not the restaurant.

Top Restaurant is…read moretucked into a small, rundown shopping center on Colorado Blvd in Pasadena and from the outside you'd never guess what's waiting inside. This is my third visit and every single time it delivers. This is an Indonesian/Hawaiian restaurant -- and a seriously impressive one. The menu spans both worlds, and no matter which direction you go, you're in for something special. Take out only, no tables, but trust me -- you won't care. The 4 Piece Indonesian Fried Chicken with rice is an absolute must. Some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The crust is insanely crispy, the seasoning is perfect, and the Indonesian dipping sauce ties it all together in a way that's completely unique. This alone is worth the drive. The Hawaiian plates are equally impressive. The short ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, the beef and chicken were perfectly marinated -- sweet, savory, and deeply flavorful. Everything comes with rice and a creamy mac salad, and the Hawaiian Sun drinks (Mango Orange and Strawberry Lilikoi) are the perfect companion to wash it all down. Plates run between $16-$20 but the portions are generous and the quality is exceptional -- you absolutely get your money's worth. The owner and cook are extraordinarily welcoming, and everything comes out hot and fresh every single time. Top Restaurant is a hidden gem of the highest order. If you're in Pasadena, make the trip.

Even after arriving, I almost changed my mind about ordering because the plaza itself looked very old and rough. I brought my girlfriend with me, and she was actually the one who said that since we were already there, we might as well try it. The restaurant is basically takeout only, and the inside is very simple and worn down. That said, the person taking our order was extremely friendly, which made the experience much better right away. After checking Yelp, I decided to order the Indonesian fried rice, BBQ chicken, and fried chicken. The fried rice was easily the highlight. I got it spicy, and it had a nice kick that made it feel more special. I'm not sure if this is part of the Indonesian style, but there were little bits of noodles mixed into the fried rice, which made it unique and really tasty. It also had a generous amount of meat inside, and the portion was huge. It was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've had recently. The BBQ chicken was solid too. It had that tasty Hawaiian-style plate lunch feel, came with mac salad, and was seasoned well. The fried chicken was a little mixed for me. The crispy outside was good, but the chicken itself had a slight off taste, like it didn't feel as fresh as I hoped. Not terrible, but definitely not my favorite item. Overall, Top Restaurant surprised me in a good way. The place itself is very no-frills, but the fried rice alone makes it worth coming back. I'd definitely return for that.

The ambiance was okay, but it was kind of too simple and dull. We ordered two Spam musubi ($6.99 each for 2 pieces), a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken mini meal ($11.29), a Kalua Pork plate lunch ($13.99), and a Kalua Combo ($14.49). My daughters liked the spam musubi, and we got two orders for them, so they each had two big pieces. The Hawaiian BBQ Chicken mini meal wasn't too mini; the portion was great with flavorful BBQ chicken, 1 scoop of rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and vegetables. For my Kalua Pork plate lunch (Hawaii's version of pulled pork), I liked my slow-roasted shredded pulled pork with a bit of smoky flavor. It was served over steamed cabbage. The cabbage was a bit chewy, though. I wish the cabbage could be softer; maybe steam it a bit longer. For the Kalua Combo, besides the Kalua pork, you can pick the second choice of BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu, or Teriyaki Chicken. Hubby picked the Chicken Katsu. The portion was big, and it had 2 scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad, and steamed veggies. You can also customize to have the sides, such as 2 scoops of macaroni salad and one scoop of rice, and one scoop of steamed veggies. (Choose your sides up to 4 for the combo.) The staff was a bit impatient and kept saying "anything else" a few times after my hubby placed his order, but I hadn't ordered any other food for my daughters, my mom, and myself. Other than that, the food came out quickly.
