Came back and got the spicy salmon with soba and greens. If you're a spicy lover, you HAVE to do the spicy mayo and miso habanero. It hit so hard!! Service is quick. Perfect for hot a day.

I came back for round two. Still satisfied with everything. This is officially my favorite spot for poke in LA.

Pokestuf is my number one poke place to go to. I always order the same thing to go home to eat and it's always the best! Staff are friendly and quick. Place is nice and cozy to eat. I shared my order with my family and they love it!

literally my go to poke place!! I love this place soooo muchhhhh. the soba noodles with the fish always hit and with the sauce . the fish is pretty fresh although there would be times where it would be a bit chewy or a lil fishy. I never had problems with the spicy tuna tho!

Located on a corner on Main Street, it might be easily missed. Pokestuf is the only Poke shop close by so I'm surprised that I never see it packed. We live in the neighborhood and had always wondered if it was any good. Lunch time last week presented the opportunity and we finally remembered Pokestuf was on our list of places to visit. Nice girls working the register and food prep. Only one other person was there so we were able to place our order right away. The typical choices from categories: pick your base, protein, sauces, toppings etc. I do with they have more options for protein. There were 3 fish available only. No shrimp or crab meat or scallops available. There is garlic shrimp available for an additional $2. There additional fees for adding seaweed salad. Free parking is available on the street or a parking lot behind the building. It was a little pricey for the portion size. Taste was okay. I was hoping to be wow'd and find our new regular poke spot. Sadly that was not the case.

spicy salmon, spicy mayo, ponzu, all the sides besides masago eggs, and it's half white rice &mixed greens.

Yes. I ordered for pickup few times

    When are you guys reopening?

We have reopened as of this week.

I am literally heartbroken that this place closed. Any idea where they get their sauces or what was in them?

Pokestuf is not closed, we were just there on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

For the price of food and the amount you get, I can't complain! The flavor of their own seafood boil sauce (boom sauce?) is a standard seafood boil flavor, it's legit. The flavors don't overwhelm you and make you wanna go to the toilet right away, you know what I mean? The family pack comes with 3 corn on the cob, 3 sausage pieces and 3 potatoes (like a medium sized potato!) it was good but I wish the seafood had time to sit in the sauce, you can tell the food was dumped on the sauce. We had to fight to scoop some sauce onto our mussels cause the bag was so full of food- what a good problem to have. Maybe the sauce is a bit thin? Maybe that's why it didn't stick to the food? Service was good, the ladies were attentive and professional. The decor looked like this place was known to be a bar- I mean there's a huge bar to the side. There's even a second floor but no one was seated there so it doesn't look used. Cute decor with the sea theme. Not happy about their toilet in the women's restroom. There's a a sign saying to please not dispose the toilet seat covers in the toilet cause it could clog it up. I was being a nice person and went to the trouble of respecting their wishes. It was gross as I was being careful not to touch the peed parts of the toilet seat cover. Don't judge me, only God can judge me! Come here to feed your family and friends at a very reasonable price! And if you're a lady you're gonna have to hover while you pee if you don't want to deal with the toilet seat cover disposal issue...

They definitely did that very well. We also got a lot of other dishes like the clay pot rice, chicken, clams, seafood crispy noodles, and other foods I can't remember. Overall, just okay for me. We usually come here for lunch either before our massage or after our massage, so it has become one of our regular places. That day, we stopped by for lunch before our massage. I ordered my favorite dish here, the Shrimp with Cashews, and my friend ordered the Seafood Noodle. I've been coming to this restaurant many times, but surprisingly, this was the first time I had ever seen the Seafood Noodle on the menu. I was curious about what it was like because my friend told me it is one of her favorite dishes. So, that day, I finally got to see it for myself. It came with two pieces of fresh ramen noodles, vegetables that looked like bok choy, and seafood underneath, including what looked like squid. I tried a bite, but honestly, it wasn't really my taste. So, I mostly enjoyed my favorite Shrimp with Cashews with lots of rice. I ate quite a bit, but there were still plenty of shrimp left, so I told my friend to finish them. My friend ended up eating quite a lot of the shrimp, too. Another thing I really like about coming here for lunch is that they offer unlimited rice, which is always a nice bonus. After we finished our meal, they brought out complimentary oranges. The oranges are always so fresh and delicious, and I really enjoy having them at the end of the meal. The servers are also always friendly and attentive, and they are quick to bring anything we need, which was really good. Since we went around lunchtime that day, we also got to see the servers sitting together around a large round table, having their own meal. It was actually nice to see them all eating together during their break. Overall, Boston Lobster is always a reliable go-to spot for us, especially when we're in the area for a massage. The food is satisfying, the service is friendly, and the unlimited rice and fresh complimentary oranges are always a nice touch. Since my friend drove that day, I paid for both the lunch at this restaurant and the dessert we had at another place afterward.

They have a very large seating area which accommodate large parties, which is good. The food here is delicious. Everything was incredibly reasonable with the exception of the fish. We got the steamed sole$90 and the lobster which is about $250 and that's expected. I am missing about four dishes that I didn't get to take a photo because in between the service was a little slow. Some of our food came out slightly more than room temperature which tells me that they probably have a lot of this pumping out. Nonetheless, the food was good. Our family enjoyed it with about nine dishes. We paid 650 with tax and tip.

The 4 of us especially liked the white fish with basil and the shrimp with snow peas. The rice noodles with seafood and the kung pao were also good. Service was stellar - personal, but never intrusive. I liked that we were seated immediately and still given time for our late guests to arrive. Food arrived quickly once we ordered. They were gracious about splitting the tab afterwards, but could easily have asked whether we wanted separate checks since we were 3 unrelated sets of adults that arrived separately. So, what could have been better? The chafing spoons were too small and too few, leaving us to pull the chafing plate to the edge of the lazy Susan and scrape. My dinner plate was too small, so I made a bit of a mess while eating. The main room is noisy, even with some empty tables, Next time I'll ask for a table in the quiet section (to the right when coming in the main door.) I've driven past Newport Seafood many times and not gone in because the parking lot was already full, and it's not my style to park elsewhere and walk over. However, on Monday at 5 PM, we found ample parking. All that said, Newport Seafood seemed at its best when serving special meals to large families all around us. I will think of them next time we celebrate a special family occasion.
