I am back and updating my review. Pokeworks, I have returned to try you again after my previous visit. I was immediately greeted. I spoke with a gentleman regarding a free entree for me and a friend due to my dissatisfaction on my last visit. He was a little hesitant at first, but immediately went to work to fix us a bowl of poke. I believe he was the shift lead. I have to say, his service was superb as I asked for a little bit of this, extra of that, and sauce/toppings on side. He helped with no questions asked/no complaints. I am very satisfy with my bowl of "build your own" spicy salmon poke bowl with half rice, half lettuce, all toppings (minus the things that cost extra) and sauce on the side - my usual "go-to" bowl. It was made just the way I like it - no skimming on ingredients. It tasted pretty amazing too. I am much more happy with this trip than my last. Thank you for inviting me back to try you again, Pokeworks. I hope the previous time was just a fluke. I will continue to stop by to grab a bowl when I am in town as long as the service and quality is there. read more

Surprised at how good this little place is. We had the regular, which included 2 proteins. I had spicy tuna and spicy salmon on a lettuce base. Lots of addons and toppings to pick from. Fresh and tasty. They also had some interesting soda options, like creamy cherry. read more

This place always fixes my poke cravings. The poke is fresh and the sauces and toppings are phenomenal and blend well together. I'd say the rice doesn't seem fresh all the time, but I think it's because they probably make the rice in large batches throughout the day. My favorite bowl is the Seoul Bowl which I think is a seasonal menu item. My only thing was service - service is a hit or miss depending on who is behind the counter that day. I had one person who was super helpful - he would provide suggestions on what would go well with what items and was extremely patient with my indecisiveness. On another day, I had an individual who seemed to be in a snappy mood and very impatient (she was like this with all the customers). Maybe it was just an off day. read more

Ordered the 3-protein to try out the different poke that was offered. Would have thought the spicy tuna/salmon would be added after everything else was mixed in but it was all mixed together with everything else. The spicy tuna turned into regular tuna after adding the sauce and the mixing. Asked for serrano peppers to add, but when eating there was sooo many serrano peppers added that each bite had 2+ pieces in it. The employee taking the order wouldn't speak loud enough and I had to ask them to repeat multiple times, in which they replied in the same volume which was impossible to hear. I feel other poke places in the greater Seattle area provide more food for the same price. read more

Fantastic poke fishes and lots of sides, fantastic service and friendly servers. This is our go-to place for poke at least once a month. I've yet to be disappointed, never had a bad experience here and their food is fresh and tasty. Their lava sauce is to die for if you have a high spice tolerance like me. They are generous with their serving and I love that they rotate new poke entries thanks to their Top Chef Sheldon Simeon who we know from his awesome Hawaiian venture in Maui named Tin Roof (pretty famous). I'll go anywhere Sheldon puts out a dish, he's just too good! I'll be back...next week per schedule! :D read more

Decided to get lunch with a friend as this place has been on my list to try for awhile, and it honestly exceeded my expectations! I got their umami ahi signature bowl as I can get overwhelmed with having to choose from a lot of options but the guy serving us didn't rush me at all and even asked if I wanted certain toppings/sauces I didn't even notice :) I also like that they offer chopsticks, spoons, and forks for utensils so you can eat with what you're most comfortable using! You really have to mix the food for the best taste but it was so much better than I expected! The tuna tasted really fresh and to my liking. Both me and my friend were pretty hungry so I completely forgot to take pics of the yummy food but will definitely be coming here again to do so next time! read more

Got the poke bowl that we would order online customized and it's ready to pick up during these Covid times. The portion size was huge and the quality and freshness of the ingredients was definitely worth the price. Flavors are on point and it's a very satisfying bowl of Poke. My only single issue with it was that while I did ask for thai chilies as one of my toppings, I didn't expect them to put enough to cause tears. I love my spicy food and always get 5star spice at all thai restaurants; but when you have that kind of spice in a poke bowl, it kills a lot of the other fantastic flavor. My recommendation to the staff if they read this would be that when someone asks for thai chilies, just add a few or maybe have them on the side and not mixed in so that we can decide how many we actually want. Overall, my wife and I loved the food and we can't wait to go back for more. read more

My bf suggested this place to me after he went and thought it was good and good value, so I came to this place with my friends for lunch one day. We were blown away by how generous the portion size was here. The interior was very modern and clean, and there usually isn't a long line, even during peak lunch hours. You can get a poke bowl or a burrito, and I chose to get a create-your-own bowl with two scoops of meat. You can also choose to get 3 scoops (if you pay a bit more). I got a salmon bowl and loaded it up with cucumbers, mangoes, oranges (They have mandarin oranges as a topping, which I haven't seen in other poke places), seaweed, masago, sesame seeds, and tofu. After the toppings have been added, I chose the umami shoyu marinade, which was savory with a bit of sesame flavor. The bowl ended up being HUGE. I paid $12 fo my bowl (including tax) and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that I could get a free miso soup if I checked in on Yelp. The salmon definitely tasted fresh, along with the other ingredients that I had gotten. Finishing this was almost difficult, because the bowl was so big. However, it was SO delicious I ended up eating it all! You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck with this fully customizable poke bowl. My coworkers and I come here almost every week now, and this is the best poke I've had so far in Downtown Bellevue. I can't wait to go back for more (next week)! read more

Since moving here I've been slowly trying to find my go-to places to get my fix for certain types of food. Pokeworks has become such a place and is actually my favorite poke place even over all the places I've been to in San Diego. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and there are a variety of toppings that are included in the price (of which I get all). The quality of the seafood is not the greatest, but that is to be expected at a poke place since it is to be tossed with sauce and not served as sushi. I like to get salmon and tuna tossed with spicy mayo and topped with all the trimmings! The combination of flavors and textures (especially from the lotus chips) makes this a great refreshing meal. read more

Stopped into Pokeworks today for takeout. Parking was pretty easy, there is a lot next to the Safeway. The menu was pretty extensive which I always find overwhelming since I'm so indecisive so I just ended up building my own bowl. Ordering my bowl was very quick and easy, like most poke spots. Why with all the salt? This is the first time (though I've seen others out in the wild) that salt (and sometimes peppers!) their fresh fish BEFORE any sauces or mix ins. What are you hiding?! Why cover any chance of tasting the raw fish I came to eat? I LOVE fresh fish and I'm very sensitive to salt, so I don't choose either salt or sauces for my bowls. I didn't realize I had no choice until after my order here. I was thrilled to find another sushirito place, but it's more like a taco. They are the smallest. The rice was well seasoned (I'm guessing, everything felt like it was salted at the very least). They really don't have many toppings to choose from compared to most other places, though my honey enjoyed their crispy rice balls, which are like tiny rice crackers. My family was rating this above IC Poke and Hello Poke for eastside options, but the salt factor killed it for me. I can't do it. I'd rather have a sushirito at IC than one from here. I got so much fish! They definitely do not skimp on the protein or toppings. OK, the toppings though.... THERE'S SO MANY! I've been to many poke places and this place might have the most variety in what toppings you can choose! Great poke - service was less than stellar and slow. I was here about half an hour before closing just as I have been at the other location downtown in the past. The service here is just not the same. Employees are lethargic and have no pride in their jobs - tubs of greens and spicy ahi were empty and no one had made any effort to replace them despite the growing line behind me. When I ordered my bowl with greens the girl helping me actually rolled her eyes. Yikes. If you don't like your job, find something you enjoy - your negative energy is really irritating! The parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of and there's no street parking in front of the shop. You could risk parking in Safeway and running over but I'd probably skip this location in the future and just get a yogurt at Yogurtland instead. read more

We enjoyed the food and quick service. Wish we had one closer to us but enjoy coming over a few times a year.

I'm only leaving the review for the poke burrito, but it was just alright. To me there was more of the other ingredients than the salmon that I got. There is an option for double protein but I thought the option for one would be enough. The flavors were good I just thought it would have more salmon in the actual burrito! read more

Their fish/protein options aren't marinated so I did feel like there was some lack of flavor in the fish compared to other poke places. I have been to this location of pokeworks a few times. Its a great option for lunch or a healthy meal. I like the kale noodle bowl a lot and always make my own bowl base off it. There are a lot of choices of proteins, such as fish, marinated fish, scallops, and tofu. The best part is the topping! I love the unlimited selection of add-ons for free (of course avocado and one or two other ingredients are for a fee). I should have updated this review a few weeks ago, but I'm changing this from 2 stars to 4 stars. The manager reached out to me very promptly and offered to make up for my poor experience, which was very nice of him. I think their app still needs work, so that they can stop orders or allow users to cancel orders. Their Mango Haupia usually runs out pretty early but you can still order from the app. ---------------- I know, it's the hottest day (so far), and everyone is swarming businesses for AC. I placed my order around 8:07 pm and didn't get it til 9:17 pm; their closing time is 9 pm. I came at 8:50 pm to pick up my order and waited...and waited. And after 15 mins, I wanted to cancel my order, but as hard as I try to make eye contact, I couldn't get even a few seconds with them. What was really frustrating was that they didn't stop new customers from coming til a few mins after their closing time. Also, they told me they were making my order right then as I tried to cancel, and I waited another 10 mins and it wasn't even started... I'm giving 2 stars because they were very apolegetic, and I understand it's a terrible day. I just wish they gave me the chance to cancel my order so I can leave. Also I hope they didn't charge me for the Coco Mango Haupia that they ran out of...just a verbal promise isn't vey reassuring. read more

Yum yum yum!!! Loved it. Got the spicy salmon and shrimp poke bowl with kale noodles. The noodles were amaze! So many toppings and so many dressings to choose from... their miso soup was tasty too.
