Had this place bookmarked for a while and after a rough day of school decided to drag one of my friends out to try a new spot. The place is tiny, but clean. I was immediately hooked on to the wide array of sauces and crunchy toppings and floated over to order. I was a little sad that they only offered 2 proteins until the price HIKES to $12-13 for 3, but waved it over when I looked at the crunchy toppings and ERMIGAWD LOTUS CHIPS AND FRIED GARLIC. Later when I saw my poke bowl I had an understanding why the cost is what it is. The portions are more than filling, and the sizes of the fish were cut in reasonably hefty chunks. Remember when I was all happy about the variety of sauces? Well that happiness kind of died considering that they were so light on the shouyu sauce that I couldn't taste anything except for fish (which is good but y'know not POKE). My friend was a little more lucky than I was; he could at least taste his damn sauce. Fortunately with a few more pumps of the sauce (because I asked for like two more squeezes later), it began tasting like awesome :D I wouldn't detest the notion to come back since they give you a stamp card with 12 bowls for 1 free regular poke. Service and sauces are what held me back the most to giving it five stars (plus I'm a poor high school student $11 for lunch omg madness). As I walked up to the restaurant, I noticed there was a line so I knew this place was going to be good. Also, the reviews confirmed it was a good place to eat. I've tried many poke places and this one is up there on my list. I love the fact that you can actually get a sushirito here. The service was wonderful and the guy messed up on my choice of fish and gave me an extra choice and didn't charge me for it. What I didn't like about this place is the amount of fish per size of bowl. For example, most places have a regular bowl that comes with 3 types of fish and a large bowl that has 5. Here it's 2 for regular and 3 for large. Despite that, this place is really good and I'm pretty happy with my food and overall experience. Will definitely come back! I'd give them 5 but I can get more fish at different places for cheaper or the same price. P.S. A big bonus is double crab doesn't cost extra! read more

WOW!! My new poke spot?!?! I am definitely a sushi connoisseur so I decided to visit this little poke restaurant. This was my first time eating here and my server Kendra was super helpful with explaining everything for me. She even shared her favorite sauce with me and it was yummy(I think it was the ponzu sauce mixed with the sesame sauce). My only concern is the price point. It seemed overpriced for the size of my bowl but I would definitely come back on occasion. I only have good things to say about Pokeworks. First of is I'm a fan of their sauces. I personally order the yuzu option which is citrus with a compliment of freshness. One thing that had kept me coming back are their options. They have everything you could want in a bowl of poke and more! Another really great thing is the convenience. I always order through the app which also remembers past orders and card information. It saves me time and less interaction during times like these. I recently got poke here and left unimpressed. It was so chaotic in getting my one regular poke bowl; I'm not sure if I want to deal with it again. Parking is always fun in this plaza--you really need to be vigilant when driving here as people back out without regard to oncoming traffic, people just walk in and around cars darting to the stores and there is no rhyme or reason in how the parking is laid out. Plus it's a huge plaza so consulting a map ahead of time will help you locate Pokeworks (as does the bistro lighting). Once I made my way in, it was pretty empty, so I was hoping to have a quick in and out. The layout is order right by the wall menu, then turn a left to the proteins and toppings. When I got there, there was one customer ahead of me who didn't know what she wanted (so she should have left the line). The server was handling the rice, but didn't acknowledge the customer and kept refilling her rice pots or putting some in for the burritos. Once rice was ordered, I did wait a while til someone else could help me. Since pokeworks participates with door dash and the other food ordering companies, orders for those patrons were mixed in with the in person orders. I found this to be hella confusing as I don't think the staff could keep straight what they were to work on. Once I got my turn, I could choose from white sushi rice, brown rice or salad. I chose a regular bowl with sushi rice. Next up were the proteins, and I had the salmon and ahi tuna. You could get scallops, spicy tuna, shrimp and tofu, which is great for those vegetarians. I had the choice of some seaweeds, but I don't like those, so I chose edamame. The sauce was hard to choose from because I couldn't gauge what they would taste like. I was given a sample of the citrus special sauce, but the cup for sampling was too big and didn't let me taste it appropriately. Maybe use smaller cups? The staff wasn't helpful in helping me decide either. I ended up with the spicy ginger, which was a bad decision at the end. Picked my toppings and my dry toppings, which included onion flakes, garlic flakes and sesame. I also added lotus chips but they were out of won ton chips. The whole process took me 20 minutes to receive my bowl. There was now, at this point, 10 more people in line, so it wasn't efficient at all. Total for my bowl was $10.72. The bowl was just okay. It was REALLY spicy, probably due to the sauce and the garlic flakes. So poor choice on my end. The fish was a nice size cut so I didn't feel it was too big or too tiny. I do like the variety to choose from but I didn't really enjoy the experience of building this bowl or how it tasted, so it will be a long time before I come back for poke at Pokeworks. read more

I've had way better poke bowls. There was like a lime taste to the sauces and fish. It was very overpowering. They forgot to put soy sauce in bag and then the credit card wasn't working either. They guy who made the bowl didn't even know how to make a proper bowl. Won't be back. read more

I was impressed with this place!!! I got the combo no 2...spicy tuna bowl w my choice of fixins. Everything --from rice, fish, seaweed, masago, cucumber was FRESH and delicious. Service was A+. The server was super patient and polite. I got a dole whip and my god!!! Just like Disneyland --but a tad less sweet and more icy. I forgot to take pics but I was just plain hangry! Great place to get your poke fix! They come in bowls, salad, or burrito. I just the poke bowl and was satisfied with my decision. There's lots of toppings you can add to add more taste and color. The seafood and toppings were fresh! The only downside of this place was how long it takes to get your food. Really solid poke restaurant. The restaurant itself is very hip and modern. There is seating available in the store but there is plenty of outside seating if they are full. I came here to get a regular bowl with white rice and tuna and salmon. I thought that their fish was very tasty and fresh and I had no complaints with any of their toppings or sauces. There are some toppings that will cause you extra (i.e. avocado) but there are signs to make you aware. The price is around ~$10 a bowl which is reasonable. The only reason why I give them four stars is because they are not very consistent with the food such as their portion sizes or the quality of food. The service is good and they try to work as quickly as they can down the line. This is definitely a great spot for a quick bite! read more

Prices have risen a little bit and they now charge for masago but thats completely understandable with the rising cost of goods.
