The shrimp here is the best out of all the other poke shops because it is cooked sous vide (keeps the flavor) and there are green onions pre-mixed in. I got the salad today cause I felt like being healthy (lolz) but "balanced" it out with fried lotus root, garlic, and popped rice. They don't accept cash, food is tasteless and very overpriced. They charge extra for avocado and limit you on selection. Very lame

I think COVID must have decreased the quality and choices of Pokeworks. This was one of my top choices to get poke but I will no longer come anymore. I'm disappointed in their protein choices. It seems to only be tuna or salmon and the spicy variation of it. The freshness is decreased and the taste of sauce is gross. Being close to my house gives this place a distinct advantage. You only get to pick two scoops of fish for a regular bowl but these are fairly hefty scoops so I don't feel terribly cheated. I've had the bowl here as well as the burrito. The burrito was interesting; you can get it with either a soy paper wrap or seaweed wrap. I do still prefer the bowl because I feel like I get a bit more out of it and it's a bit easier for me to eat. My favorite sauce here is the Hawaiian classic with a bit of sriracha mayo. They have a plethora of options here for toppings, most are not found in other poke shops. Hijiki, shiso leaves, fried lotus chips are some of the more uncommon ones there. One of the bigger cons of this place is that the avocado costs an extra dollar. Not the biggest deal but still kind of annoying. The service here is great though. They're very clearly spoken and knows the product well. Decent food, great proximity and solid service, I'd definitely come back again. read more

new poke place that opened up near my house - located in the 99 Ranch shopping center in the Tea Station mini plaza. A great place to go with friends if they want a variety of foods - can choose from this, popcorn chicken & tea station & everyone can eat outside on the couches/tables (oh and free wifi!) the place is decorated with minimalist aesthetic/ straight out of instagram feel - wood walls, succulents, ceramic tile walls with a neon yellow sign (sadly it wasn't lit when we were there) the line wasn't too bad - since the food is made right in front of you so it's constantly moving - because it's new I think they are still working on their pace/speed I asked for the 1/2 brown rice + 1/2 salad bowl , got tuna & salmon, pretty much all the toppings with the sriracha sauce on top. (glad they have sauce options because I like my food to be drowned with sauce - they ask if you want light medium or heavy) the price is okay - a little on the pricier side (don't know if I would be able to frequent often) the amount was good - felt full afterwards but not stuffed. They offer a punch card but you'll need to get 12 things before you get a free bowl T_T & when I was there they had a yelp deal where you can check in for a free miso soup (comes out of a miso soup machine by the soda dispenser) read more

I ordered a brown rice poke bowl with salmon, albacore, shoyu, sriracha aioli, seaweed salad, crab salad, cabbage, mango, nori, and green onions. There wasn't much of a crowd or much of a line for that matter. Pretty empty. Only a couple of folks dining in. So service was quick, for obvious reasons. The flavor was what I expected -- sushi but in a bowl. Certainty tasty, but nothing innovative from what's already out there. Value is pretty high for a lunch, but average for any poke bowl. They did had a better variety of ingredients and of higher grade from other places I've tried. All in all, no real surprises, but satisfies that poke craving when you have one. read more

Seafood wasn't fresh, employee wasn't paying attention to my and my friends orders, the ladies were not practicing proper food safe techniques; their hair was tied back, but is too long so it would almost fall into the food. I've also been to higher quality poke restaurants that other more fish/protein for a better price. For example, I've been to places that offer 5 proteins for $12.50. This is my first visit and I have to say that it was very good. I eat poke about once a week and as far as price goes they are inline with all the other Poke restaurants. The selection of toppings was excellent and plenty of protein choices. My only fault with them is the way they assemble the bowl. Most places one person helps you through the whole assembly here 3 people help you and it slows down the process, especially if it's during lunch time.
