My mom and I have been WAITING for this place to reopen! This is our favorite poke place! The portions are decently sizes and the amount of fish and sides they give you is great! I feel like we didn't get all the ingredients we asked for like sauces and onions. We got a large and there wasn't as much fish as I expected. I understand during this time we are all trying to support local business but this place is definitely not following guidelines. Saw a couple red flags. Went in to order today the worker ask what we want. We tell her wanted to order 4 bowls with rice and salad. First red flag. She doesn't wash her hands before grabbing the bowls and scoop the rice and the salad. With her thumbs on the rim of the bowl. Very unsanitary. Next red flag, the other worker or manager or owner, don't know who but came out of the kitchen no mask or gloves swapping out the toppings. Ending up giving it a try since they had already started the order and didn't want to waste. Brought it home, and even more disappointed with the quality of the food. More like 1/3 rice 2/3 mixes greens. I'm Filipino so I love garlic chips but they added SO MUCH GARLIC CHIPS completely overwhelmed the entire dish and just made every bite taste almost bitter. Great service, great quality. We are getting buy 2 get 1 free which is a great promotion. I love the sauces of them especially the miso dressing sauce. They allow you to mix any kind of sauce you want and also to go them . The rawfishes are fresh and they have a lot of choices for the toppings. I also love the orange mandarin and the amount of avocado, it is about 2 times bigger compare to the other places, so they charge $1 for avocado but it's worth $2.
