I first heard about this place from my co-workers, I saw they were having it for lunch one day at work and it just looked delicious. They raved about how great the food was and insisted I have a bite. I instantly fell in love with the flavor, so fresh, to light and super delicious!! It's like a sushi roll in a bowl. Ever since the day I had that first bite (about 5 days ago) I was hooked!! I craved in everyday since but since I live in Carson it's not a hop, skip, and a jump away. Since I took the day off yesterday I decided it was about time to satisfy my craving so I took the drive and let me just say it was worth every mile. It's a small place in the plaza where its located but luckily the sign outside pops out at you. The staff is super nice and helped me pick out each item. It reminds me of Subway where you pick out each item in an assembly line. There are choices like white or brown rice, lettuce, to place at the bottom of your bowl. Then you can add crab, spicy crab, avocado, and different types of veggies and spices. They have tuna, spicy tuna, shrimp, scallops, salmon and other types of fish which they mix in the sauce of your choice to top off your bowl. I ate in and the gentleman who seemed to be the manager there came over to see if I needed anything or if the food was OK, he also asked if I wanted extra sauce. I paired my meal with a mango boba which was so refreshing. I will definitely be a regular here for lunch during work hours and have already recommended this place to my friends. Seriously delicious!! From the second I walked in, I was greeted and helped with ordering (I've never had this food before) everyone was super friendly and helpful. Poki bowl was AMAZING, I got spicy yellowtail and albacore with brown rice. They have so many toppings that come in it as well as the combo including a sushi roll (I got the spicy tuna). As I started to eat my lunch, they offered me a complimentary bowl of miso. Great deal, I even took an order of garlic edamame to go! I will definitely be coming back!!! read more

You wouldn't believe this cute restaurant was in the store strip that it was. It's a little hidden and outside deceiving but the inside was nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. This was the first time there and they explained their offerings. The Poki Poki was very good and they had great toppings and a nice selection of seafood. Service was quick and every staff member was as nice as the other. Prices are reasonable and we would definitely revisit the establishment again! read more

All the ingredients seemed fresh, and I liked that there was a variety of toppings that could be added without an extra charge (unlike some other poki bowl places). I ordered the medium bowl which has three scoops of poki w/ half brown rice & half salad as the base. The portion of food wasn't super big, but it was enough to make me satisfied.
