This location is fairly new and it was a great addition to the neighborhood. A great spot to grab a bagel breakfast sandwich, they have a variety to choose from. I got the avocado garden with egg on everything bagel and it was yummy, as well as their avocado toast. Service was quick and friendly, despite their crowds and busyness.

I've been wanting to try Einstein Bros. Bagels for a while, but there wasn't a location near me until recently. It's great to have a bagel and coffee shop in MPK. Since they opened, there have been long lines every time I've tried to go, which had me hesitant until now. This time, I decided to order through the app. I still had to wait a bit, but the young African-American lady behind the counter was very attentive and helpful when I asked about my order. As with most chains, I looked at their top-rated breakfast sandwiches and chose the Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, as I love Country Gravy, and the Country Gravy Schmear sounded interesting. I agree with another reviewer who complained about false advertising. I'm also guilty of believing the sandwich would look like the picture. They need to give their photographers a raise for making the sandwiches look so good. Let's be real, it was probably AI. The sandwich was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. It was a bit salty, which is to be expected. My biggest complaint is the lack of schmear. Any bagel lover will tell you that a bagel shop needs to get the schmear ratio right. I'm willing to give Einstein Bros. Bagels another try, but I'll probably stick to bagels with different schmears next time and avoid the breakfast sandwiches.

First off, an Einstein Bros -- in Monterey Park? Count me in!! Who doesn't love a bagel with cream cheese shmear and lox? This locale has everything you'll want and need from an Einstein Bros. -- same service, same bright-yellow vibe. Just know that the parking lot -- through no fault of their own -- is easily the worst part of your Einstein-going experience. This lot is shared with a Ralph's supermarket along with a bunch of other businesses. Bottlenecks are pretty common with different folks of varying driving ability patronizing the many businesses on the southern end of the Atlantic Square Shopping Center. I love me some Einstein Bros. and they're a welcome addition to this end of Atlantic Boulevard.

Stopped by to try this spot last week, given my husband recommend it when he saw it weeks ago. I ordered the Texas Brisquet and an iced caramel cream coffee to go. Service was good and received my order quickly. Sandwich was pretty good and had good flavor, but it was mediocre for the price. The coffee was not good. Tasted too watered down. I couldn't finish it. Bagels was worth the try though.

Located in the plaza with Ralphs on the corner of S Atlantic Blvd & W Riggin St. First time being at any Einstein Bros and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 10am on a Friday, line was almost out the door with about 10-12 people ahead which was a little discouraging. Luckily line moved quickly and the wait for your order wasn't bad at all. I waited about 4-6 minutes for my order to be called. Ordering ahead seems quite popular, you can pick up your online order near the entrance against the wall. They have a designated pick up shelf. Twice Baked Hash Brown -I personally didn't like it. It was way too dry for my liking. It was almost like balling up really dry mash potato add a little bit of cheese over top and baking it in the oven.. Maybe it would work well if you added your own gravy to it or something. Oktoberfest (New)- pretzel bagel itself was quite hard and really dense. Beer cheese shmear is almost like a thick nacho cheese. Pretzel salt on the bagel with the beer cheese shmear paired together was way too salty. Mustard added a nice tang but not enough to off balance the saltiness. Chorizo Sunrise -avocados weren't as ripe as I prefer, it was a little more tough and chewy than creamy. Everything paired well. Bagel itself was amazing; fluffy but perfect density of a bagel with a slight chew. Texas Brisket -everything paired well, nice hearty sandwich for a busy morning. Brisket was tender with just the right amount of smokiness. The jalapeños on Cheddar Jalapeno bagel was surprisingly spicy with a kick which I personally prefer. Bacon, Avocado & Tomato -perfect for your BLT lovers. Simple but so good. All Nighter -bacon lover's perfect bagel sandwich, the two slices of American made it super cheesy as well. Santa Fe Egg White - so good, Jalapeño Salsa Cream Cheese Shmear was the star of the sandwich. Sandwich was pretty light perfect for those who need something for breakfast but doesn't want anything too heavy. Maplehouse Egg Sandwich -surprisingly not over powering sweet. Maple French Toast bagel sounded so odd but paired well.

On a Sunday morning in early September, my sister and I went there to redeem bogo breakfast bagel sandwiches at 6:30am. It's next to Jamba Juice and Ralph's. We were only people. The staff was nice and friendly in the morning. Plenty of bagels in the glass counter. I didn't wait too long for our bagel sandwiches, The egg bacon bagel sandwich tastes really good. I forgot to take a photo of sandwiches. Plenty of parking. Lots of workers there at 7am, Sign up for the app to collect points.

Picked up a dozen bagels on Thursday at 9am. There's still a long line and I would have ordered online but you can't customize all the bagels and they were out of a lot of options. I'm happy there's a new bagel place, open early and in the area! Hopefully once people get used to the menu the lines will go faster. Unfortunately they were out of regular cream cheese and the honey almond cream cheese. I didn't find out until I was the front of the line, so had to scramble to change my order and not get any sweet bagels. Maybe that's why the line was moving so slowly....

Stopped by Einstein Bagels for a quick bite. The line was long, and the staff weren't really friendly. They were probably overwhelmed because there was a huge crowd, but still not the best customer experience. The biggest downside was the wait. It took about 20 minutes to get two bagel sandwiches, which felt pretty long for a place that should be fast-casual. As for the food, it was just okay. My husband had the pizza bagel and I had the bacon, avocado, and tomato sandwich. Ingredients seemed fresh, but the eggs on mine were pretty bland. I was hoping for a bit more flavor overall. Not terrible, but not in a rush to go back.

The bagels are always good here. It's good that they opened up this location! It's about 8 AM and the line is long, like 'out the door' long with probably 7 or 8 people. We waited about 10 mins before we ordered a half dozen mixed bagels. There were probably 6 people working behind the counter, all really busy doing their thing, so shout-out to their hard work. I'm not sure if you have to ask for the bagels to be warmed but ours were not. Thats fine, I'm not picky about that sort of thing. Next time I come I'll make it a point to ask. I had the everything bagels, garlicky and salty and soft, really good. My wife had the cranberry bagel and it was delicious. I also had their cold brew coffee, chocolate cream. My wife went with the cold brew caramel cream. They're both good, not overly sweet. We'll definitely be back for other items in the future, like the breakfast bagel sandwiches. I saw one guy making a pizza bagel and it looked freaking good!

We wanted to try the new bagel spot that opened up in Monterey Park so we ordered ahead of time for pick up the next morning. The line was long when I got here at 7am but moved pretty quickly but the food I ordered wasn't ready even though we ordered ahead. I had to wait 25 min for the pick up order. I know the place is new and is still working out the kinks but if you want your food at a reasonable time, make sure you walk in to order. They seem to move faster if you order in person. The servers are nice and the food is good. Everyone was ordering take out. I got the brunch combo for 2 and that was a good deal if you want to share with someone. I also got the maple sandwich and garden avocado. The bagels were fresh and the smear was good.

    Moni C.

My mom and I shared a bagel sandwich and the halves were enough to get us full. Really long line, tons of people inside, I think you can order ahead for pick up, despite the crowds the staff did a wonderful job managing orders and keeping the line moving. There is seating inside and we were able to find a table to sit and eat.

I was super excited to try this place since I love bagel sandwiches. It was pretty good. I had the ham, Swiss and egg on an everything bagel. I tried the cold brew coffee as well but wasn't too impressed. I'd go there again for the sandwiches but not the coffee.

Driving on Atlantic Blvd I notice they were balloons and signs and an open sign say Einstein Bros Bagels open in Atlantic Square in Monterey Park. Final Einstein Bros Bagels open I have been wishing for a good bagel store close to my house and also a well name bagel shop. The only Einstein Bros Bagels store I have to travel is in Pasadena but now close I could and grab a bagel and cup of coffee or any of their items anytime I want to. When I came in were a long line out of the door but it went fast and quick.

My family and I would walk and frequent this place every morning to start the day with their fantastic bagels when we lived in the area. Oh how much we miss the living in Highland Park with the awesome shops and restaurants this city has! They also do platters and we've ordered for pick up for our office meetings too and everyone loves it! You can preorder everything online and set a day and time to pick up.

5/27/2026 4 Stars -…read moreminus 1 Star for lack in parking spaces. First time at Belle's. PEC Got it on a plain bagel. The bagel was fluffy and had a nice chew! Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

Both of us were getting ready to go to the D23 Disney convention and this place was open early enough for us to get a filling breakfast before the long day. It's located in a small plaza off the busy Whittier Blvd in La Habra, but there's a good amount of parking. It's a smaller, more narrow restaurant, but there's a good amount of seating inside still. They have bagels (as the name implies) in various ways (sandwiches, toasted with a cream cheese smear), some baked goods (muffins), other breakfast sandwiches and omelet sandwiches, and a large menu of beverages (coffees, teas, smoothies, juices, ice blended drinks, boba, etc.). The owner is super friendly and outgoing. I'm no extrovert in anyway, but definitely got those vibes as he kept the conversation going and engaging. He has a family member that does AAPI children picture books which is AWESOME by the way. Love to see representation out there. Anyways on to the food review itself. I got a toasted pesto bagel with garlic herb spread. Delicious savory bagel. They don't skimp out on the spread and the slight toasted exterior, chewy bready part was delicious. Strong basil pesto flavor baked into the bagel went amazingly well with the garlic herb, making it for a deluxe "garlic bread" if you think about it. Good stuff, great and welcoming service, will definitely stop by again.

Everything was flavorful, fresh, and so good! The ambiance is great, and the owner, Chris, is incredibly personable and welcoming. If you need bagels for work or a party, call him the day before and let him know what you want. He and his team will take care of you! This place is JUMPING! Definitely a local gem and the perfect stop after pickleball. We'll be back! And hopefully, we didn't leave a bite behind!

I don't like pitching businesses against one another, but I can't describe it any other way. I hadn't realized for years, but I happen to live only a few blocks away from this neighborhood gem. Lucky me. I went on a weekday brunch-y hour and was able to get an elite parking spot and an outside table in the shade. It was perfect. A little too perfect because now I think about the egg salad every morning. Also, I'm a sucker for brick buildings and friendly people. So this... This little bagel spot? It's a 15/10 in my book. You go inside, place your order, then pick your order up outside at the window and there is some limited outdoor seating. My lox bagel sandwich was delicious and I also enjoyed the bagel I bought to go for breakfast the next morning (it stayed fresh). I also bought some dessert pastries here for my kids and they said they were very tasty. They boil and bake their bagels here (boiling is a must for me - can't stand just the baked bagels - those aren't real bagels!) Even though it was crowded the service was fast enough. There is plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood - you just have to walk a bit but nothing major.
