This was my first time trying Einstein Bagels, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I've had a lot of good bagels before, so I went in with high expectations, but it just didn't hit. The bagel wasn't thick or chewy and it didn't really have that classic bagel texture at all. I tried the jalapeño cheddar with cream cheese. I couldn't really taste much cheese, but there were big pieces of jalapeño, which I did like. The bagel itself tasted kind of stale. I also thought it was a bit overpriced compared to other bagel spots I've been to. They group their bagels into "classic," "signature," and "gourmet," and the signature and gourmet ones cost more. My jalapeño cheddar was considered gourmet and was about a dollar extra. I've never been to a bagel shop that does that, and it honestly felt like a bit of a rip-off.

Over priced bagel shop. Better off getting a breakfast sandwich at a mom and pop donut shop. Though I understand this is a new location and the staff are fairly new, the $9 breakfast bagel I purchased had an extremely unripe avocado.

I've been wanting to try Einstein Bros. Bagels for a while, but there wasn't a location near me until recently. It's great to have a bagel and coffee shop in MPK. Since they opened, there have been long lines every time I've tried to go, which had me hesitant until now. This time, I decided to order through the app. I still had to wait a bit, but the young African-American lady behind the counter was very attentive and helpful when I asked about my order. As with most chains, I looked at their top-rated breakfast sandwiches and chose the Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, as I love Country Gravy, and the Country Gravy Schmear sounded interesting. I agree with another reviewer who complained about false advertising. I'm also guilty of believing the sandwich would look like the picture. They need to give their photographers a raise for making the sandwiches look so good. Let's be real, it was probably AI. The sandwich was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. It was a bit salty, which is to be expected. My biggest complaint is the lack of schmear. Any bagel lover will tell you that a bagel shop needs to get the schmear ratio right. I'm willing to give Einstein Bros. Bagels another try, but I'll probably stick to bagels with different schmears next time and avoid the breakfast sandwiches.

Stopped by to try this spot last week, given my husband recommend it when he saw it weeks ago. I ordered the Texas Brisquet and an iced caramel cream coffee to go. Service was good and received my order quickly. Sandwich was pretty good and had good flavor, but it was mediocre for the price. The coffee was not good. Tasted too watered down. I couldn't finish it. Bagels was worth the try though.

My mom and I shared a bagel sandwich and the halves were enough to get us full. Really long line, tons of people inside, I think you can order ahead for pick up, despite the crowds the staff did a wonderful job managing orders and keeping the line moving. There is seating inside and we were able to find a table to sit and eat.

Located in the plaza with Ralphs on the corner of S Atlantic Blvd & W Riggin St. First time being at any Einstein Bros and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 10am on a Friday, line was almost out the door with about 10-12 people ahead which was a little discouraging. Luckily line moved quickly and the wait for your order wasn't bad at all. I waited about 4-6 minutes for my order to be called. Ordering ahead seems quite popular, you can pick up your online order near the entrance against the wall. They have a designated pick up shelf. Twice Baked Hash Brown -I personally didn't like it. It was way too dry for my liking. It was almost like balling up really dry mash potato add a little bit of cheese over top and baking it in the oven.. Maybe it would work well if you added your own gravy to it or something. Oktoberfest (New)- pretzel bagel itself was quite hard and really dense. Beer cheese shmear is almost like a thick nacho cheese. Pretzel salt on the bagel with the beer cheese shmear paired together was way too salty. Mustard added a nice tang but not enough to off balance the saltiness. Chorizo Sunrise -avocados weren't as ripe as I prefer, it was a little more tough and chewy than creamy. Everything paired well. Bagel itself was amazing; fluffy but perfect density of a bagel with a slight chew. Texas Brisket -everything paired well, nice hearty sandwich for a busy morning. Brisket was tender with just the right amount of smokiness. The jalapeños on Cheddar Jalapeno bagel was surprisingly spicy with a kick which I personally prefer. Bacon, Avocado & Tomato -perfect for your BLT lovers. Simple but so good. All Nighter -bacon lover's perfect bagel sandwich, the two slices of American made it super cheesy as well. Santa Fe Egg White - so good, Jalapeño Salsa Cream Cheese Shmear was the star of the sandwich. Sandwich was pretty light perfect for those who need something for breakfast but doesn't want anything too heavy. Maplehouse Egg Sandwich -surprisingly not over powering sweet. Maple French Toast bagel sounded so odd but paired well.

On a Sunday morning in early September, my sister and I went there to redeem bogo breakfast bagel sandwiches at 6:30am. It's next to Jamba Juice and Ralph's. We were only people. The staff was nice and friendly in the morning. Plenty of bagels in the glass counter. I didn't wait too long for our bagel sandwiches, The egg bacon bagel sandwich tastes really good. I forgot to take a photo of sandwiches. Plenty of parking. Lots of workers there at 7am, Sign up for the app to collect points.

Picked up a dozen bagels on Thursday at 9am. There's still a long line and I would have ordered online but you can't customize all the bagels and they were out of a lot of options. I'm happy there's a new bagel place, open early and in the area! Hopefully once people get used to the menu the lines will go faster. Unfortunately they were out of regular cream cheese and the honey almond cream cheese. I didn't find out until I was the front of the line, so had to scramble to change my order and not get any sweet bagels. Maybe that's why the line was moving so slowly....

Stopped by Einstein Bagels for a quick bite. The line was long, and the staff weren't really friendly. They were probably overwhelmed because there was a huge crowd, but still not the best customer experience. The biggest downside was the wait. It took about 20 minutes to get two bagel sandwiches, which felt pretty long for a place that should be fast-casual. As for the food, it was just okay. My husband had the pizza bagel and I had the bacon, avocado, and tomato sandwich. Ingredients seemed fresh, but the eggs on mine were pretty bland. I was hoping for a bit more flavor overall. Not terrible, but not in a rush to go back.

The bagels are always good here. It's good that they opened up this location! It's about 8 AM and the line is long, like 'out the door' long with probably 7 or 8 people. We waited about 10 mins before we ordered a half dozen mixed bagels. There were probably 6 people working behind the counter, all really busy doing their thing, so shout-out to their hard work. I'm not sure if you have to ask for the bagels to be warmed but ours were not. Thats fine, I'm not picky about that sort of thing. Next time I come I'll make it a point to ask. I had the everything bagels, garlicky and salty and soft, really good. My wife had the cranberry bagel and it was delicious. I also had their cold brew coffee, chocolate cream. My wife went with the cold brew caramel cream. They're both good, not overly sweet. We'll definitely be back for other items in the future, like the breakfast bagel sandwiches. I saw one guy making a pizza bagel and it looked freaking good!

We wanted to try the new bagel spot that opened up in Monterey Park so we ordered ahead of time for pick up the next morning. The line was long when I got here at 7am but moved pretty quickly but the food I ordered wasn't ready even though we ordered ahead. I had to wait 25 min for the pick up order. I know the place is new and is still working out the kinks but if you want your food at a reasonable time, make sure you walk in to order. They seem to move faster if you order in person. The servers are nice and the food is good. Everyone was ordering take out. I got the brunch combo for 2 and that was a good deal if you want to share with someone. I also got the maple sandwich and garden avocado. The bagels were fresh and the smear was good.

I was super excited to try this place since I love bagel sandwiches. It was pretty good. I had the ham, Swiss and egg on an everything bagel. I tried the cold brew coffee as well but wasn't too impressed. I'd go there again for the sandwiches but not the coffee.

Driving on Atlantic Blvd I notice they were balloons and signs and an open sign say Einstein Bros Bagels open in Atlantic Square in Monterey Park. Final Einstein Bros Bagels open I have been wishing for a good bagel store close to my house and also a well name bagel shop. The only Einstein Bros Bagels store I have to travel is in Pasadena but now close I could and grab a bagel and cup of coffee or any of their items anytime I want to. When I came in were a long line out of the door but it went fast and quick.

It's really lame not to have a vegan cream cheese option in 2026, for vegans or people who can't eat dairy.

This isn't a restaurant more so a bagel stand. Outdoor seating only. Ambiance is - take your food and sit outside. Which is fine. It's California so plenty of bagels OPTIONS, which is good for the consumer, not so sure if it is for the business model but that's not for me to decide. What makes this a 3 star review is the cream cheese option, or the shmear. $2 for shmear is outrageous. The app doesn't give you the option to have it on the side - I don't know how clean your knife is. If you're going to charge me $2, at least give me the option to have it on the side. I'd much prefer that option than the OPTION of 34 different types of bagels that probably are thrown out at the end of the night. Then when you want cream cheese on the side - there isn't a small packet offered for a nominal fee, but rather a minuscule $2 option or a $5 tub of cream cheese. No thanks. Silly. Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

Which is why I said "yes" to checking this place out even though it was a drive for us. We're coming from the southbay of LA. The parking situation is pretty tight, but if you get there at the right time you'll find a spot in their underground parking area. It's an easy walk up to the bagel shop from there. They have ample seating outdoors. The indoor seating is first come first take and it looks like it's usually crowded. So if you come with someone have one of you order and the other snag a table inside for that air conditioned experience especially since it's still 95 degree weather days right now. THE FOOD!! The signature calic garlic bagel was fire THE BREAD WAS SO SOFT, freshly baked out of the oven. The cream cheese had a blend of garlic & parsley. It was out of this world delicious. If you're a foodie or a bagel lover RUN to this place for a genuine foodie experience you won't regret it.

I had this place on my to-do list for over a month and a half and I finally happened to be in the area, so I stopped by to give it a try. I ordered the Signature Calic and the Pepperoni Pizza Calic. The place was pretty busy and it took about 20 minutes to get my order, but I have a feeling they're making these fresh because when they brought them out they were steaming hot like they had just come out of the oven. The first thing I noticed was that these aren't your typical bagels. Instead of being sliced in half, they're stuffed and baked, almost like a cross between a bagel and a stuffed bread. The outside had a nice light crispness to it while the inside was soft and fluffy. Honestly, the texture reminded me more of fresh Italian bread than a traditional chewy bagel. The Signature Calic was loaded with whipped garlic cream cheese and had a great layer of garlic, cheese, and seasoning on top. The Pepperoni Pizza Calic was packed with marinara-flavored cream cheese, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni. When I pulled it apart, there was cheese stretching everywhere, and it definitely looked as good as it tasted. Both bagels were extremely fresh and full of flavor. They were also surprisingly filling. I finished the garlic one and all but one bite of the pizza bagel, which I ended up finishing later. I'm honestly a little torn on this place. I enjoyed both bagels, the freshness was outstanding, and the flavors were really good. At the same time, I think I'm more of a traditional bagel guy. I like a bagel that's a little chewier and I usually prefer a thicker cream cheese instead of the whipped style they use here. That said, I'm glad I finally gave it a try because it was definitely different from anything else I've had. If you've never been here before, I think it's worth stopping in at least once. You may end up loving this style of bagel. For me, I still lean toward a more traditional bagel with lox or maybe a simple bagel with jalapeños, cheese, and cream cheese, but I'm happy I finally checked this place off my list.
