This was my 3rd time visiting this location, and the food is always amazing! I ordered three Signature Egg sandwiches through the app and added another one when I picked them up. Unfortunately, the customer service this morning was disappointing. The employee I interacted with was near the coffee section, wearing a cap with her curly hair tied back in a ponytail. When I asked her for a bag with handles for my order, she gave me a stern look and handed me the bag without saying anything. I said "thank you," but she didn't respond. I understand that mornings can be busy, but especially in the morning, when people are starting their day, it would be nice to be greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. Starting the day on a positive note can really make a difference. The food definitely deserves 5 stars, but the customer service needs some improvement. A little friendliness, a smile, and a simple "you're welcome" would go a long way. I hope the staff can create a warmer and more welcoming experience for customers, especially first thing in the morning. read more

This was my first time trying Einstein Bagels, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. I've had a lot of good bagels before, so I went in with high expectations, but it just didn't hit. The bagel wasn't thick or chewy and it didn't really have that classic bagel texture at all. I tried the jalapeño cheddar with cream cheese. I couldn't really taste much cheese, but there were big pieces of jalapeño, which I did like. The bagel itself tasted kind of stale. I also thought it was a bit overpriced compared to other bagel spots I've been to. They group their bagels into "classic," "signature," and "gourmet," and the signature and gourmet ones cost more. My jalapeño cheddar was considered gourmet and was about a dollar extra. I've never been to a bagel shop that does that, and it honestly felt like a bit of a rip-off. read more

Since they opened, there have been long lines every time I've tried to go, which had me hesitant until now. This time, I decided to order through the app. I still had to wait a bit, but the young African-American lady behind the counter was very attentive and helpful when I asked about my order. As with most chains, I looked at their top-rated breakfast sandwiches and chose the Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, as I love Country Gravy, and the Country Gravy Schmear sounded interesting. I agree with another reviewer who complained about false advertising. I'm also guilty of believing the sandwich would look like the picture. They need to give their photographers a raise for making the sandwiches look so good. Let's be real, it was probably AI. The sandwich was okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. It was a bit salty, which is to be expected. My biggest complaint is the lack of schmear. Any bagel lover will tell you that a bagel shop needs to get the schmear ratio right. Located in the plaza with Ralphs on the corner of S Atlantic Blvd & W Riggin St. First time being at any Einstein Bros and it did not disappoint. We arrived around 10am on a Friday, line was almost out the door with about 10-12 people ahead which was a little discouraging. Luckily line moved quickly and the wait for your order wasn't bad at all. I waited about 4-6 minutes for my order to be called. Ordering ahead seems quite popular, you can pick up your online order near the entrance against the wall. They have a designated pick up shelf. Twice Baked Hash Brown -I personally didn't like it. It was way too dry for my liking. It was almost like balling up really dry mash potato add a little bit of cheese over top and baking it in the oven.. Maybe it would work well if you added your own gravy to it or something. Oktoberfest (New)- pretzel bagel itself was quite hard and really dense. Beer cheese shmear is almost like a thick nacho cheese. Pretzel salt on the bagel with the beer cheese shmear paired together was way too salty. Mustard added a nice tang but not enough to off balance the saltiness. Chorizo Sunrise -avocados weren't as ripe as I prefer, it was a little more tough and chewy than creamy. Everything paired well. Bagel itself was amazing; fluffy but perfect density of a bagel with a slight chew. Texas Brisket -everything paired well, nice hearty sandwich for a busy morning. Brisket was tender with just the right amount of smokiness. The jalapeños on Cheddar Jalapeno bagel was surprisingly spicy with a kick which I personally prefer. Bacon, Avocado & Tomato -perfect for your BLT lovers. Simple but so good. All Nighter -bacon lover's perfect bagel sandwich, the two slices of American made it super cheesy as well. Picked up a dozen bagels on Thursday at 9am. There's still a long line and I would have ordered online but you can't customize all the bagels and they were out of a lot of options. They were probably overwhelmed because there was a huge crowd, but still not the best customer experience. The biggest downside was the wait. It took about 20 minutes to get two bagel sandwiches, which felt pretty long for a place that should be fast-casual. As for the food, it was just okay. The bagels are always good here. It's good that they opened up this location! It's about 8 AM and the line is long, like 'out the door' long with probably 7 or 8 people. We waited about 10 mins before we ordered a half dozen mixed bagels. There were probably 6 people working behind the counter, all really busy doing their thing, so shout-out to their hard work. I'm not sure if you have to ask for the bagels to be warmed but ours were not. Thats fine, I'm not picky about that sort of thing. Next time I come I'll make it a point to ask. We wanted to try the new bagel spot that opened up in Monterey Park so we ordered ahead of time for pick up the next morning. The line was long when I got here at 7am but moved pretty quickly but the food I ordered wasn't ready even though we ordered ahead. I had to wait 25 min for the pick up order. I know the place is new and is still working out the kinks but if you want your food at a reasonable time, make sure you walk in to order. They seem to move faster if you order in person. The servers are nice and the food is good. Everyone was ordering take out. I got the brunch combo for 2 and that was a good deal if you want to share with someone. Barely three weeks since opening. I am glad EBB is in there neighborhood. I ordered their Texas brisket bagel sandwich. The place is clean and spacious enough, but there aren't a lot of tables inside. The line was long and slow because only one person was working the counter, even though plenty of employees were around--half busy preparing food, the others just standing and chatting. It would be nice if they had a self-order option. Since this is a breakfast spot, some people want to sit and eat while others just want to grab and go quickly. So if you're just walking in on a typical morning, expect at least a 10-minute wait. If you're lucky, there may only be 2-3 people ahead of you. The Texas brisket was on the dry side--no BBQ sauce (don't expect one even if it says Texas brisket), and it looked and tasted more like pork carnitas than brisket. I couldn't even taste the chipotle aioli inside. No hint of Texas brisket here, just a bagel with egg and dry pulled pork/carnitas. But good thing I went back inside and asked for a side of aioli, which they did give me. On the bright side, I like their $19.89 deal for 13 assorted bagels with two tubs of spread, which they call "Shmear." They also have a designated rack for online orders. Their bagel sandwiches are reasonably priced with plenty of options, and they even serve lunch, too. And you've got to check out their super cute egg sugar cookie--it looks exactly like a sunny side up egg. Would have given 5 stars if the line moved faster or if more than one person was consistently taking orders at the registers, especially since this is mainly a breakfast place, and because their "Texas Brisket" is very dry. A hint of BBQ sauce would have made it taste better and less dry. It's not even just about the food because their bagels are good quality. A lot of people have been talking about the long lines. It's probably best to improve that even just for that breakfast rush couple hours, especially for walk-ins. Speed of service and more attentive, customer-focused staff would go a long way, instead of chatting at the front while guests are waiting. I had to wait for them to pause chatting just to ask for a side of aioli sauce. Come on Einstein Bros. Bagels, you can do better than that! read more

Now I don't have to travel to the Westside for a proper bagel. I've been twice in a row since it first opened two days ago bec I want to support and thank this franchise for coming to MPK. Firstly, I'm not the only one excited about big beautiful chewy NYC-style bagels in da hood, as the long lines at 8 am will attest. TIP: Get the app, pre order. Pickup is a snap, with a dedicated shelf for online/phone orders on the right wall as you enter . The place is bright and modern. Smallish place but mighty are their big bagels. On the app, you'll get a welcome bagel with schmear...I also got a coupon on the app for unlimited coffee, but you can't combine it with other coupons. Also you can get iced coffee but not in decaf...not sure how unlimited coffee works when you do takeout so I haven't used it. It expires monthly apparently. I also got a bakers dozen app reward for $10 Back to school special, any choice of regular bagels; the specialty ones are 40 cents extra so the jalapeño cheese bagel, the spinach florentine, the one with hash browns embedded, all cost more. But this place saves me on gas to Beverly Hills, so I'm cool with it. And I got a coupon for a free upgrade to the aforementioned specialty bagels, so you can save $$ and time via the app The app is the way to go. Service is friendly. The freezer bags for the bakers dozen were missing but I should've asked. As for the bagel egg sandwiches and the sesame seed one and the blueberry one, big thumbs up. The jalapeño salsa cresm cheese has a kick. The onion chive was perfection. They are all the whipped type, easy to schmear on. Please support bec they need to stay...or I will cry. Okay, I'm only reviewing this in hopes that the business can make improvements because this place has a lot of potential, but I went to Einstein's bagel for breakfast and my bagel was very hard. Not edible that it unfortunately went to waste and their coffee tasted burnt. Sadly, I didn't get to try it at the restaurant and had it at home, so I couldn't comment in person. The second time, I ordered a bagel on Postmates and it didn't come with cream cheese. Luckily I had my own but I was so disappointed that it didn't come with cream cheese, especially for the price. Third, I bought their packaged bagels from the Ralph's in the same plaza just to give it one last shot, and wow. Those were even harder than the first time I tried it. After three times, I've decided I can't come back to this place until they can make those small tweaks. read more
