Decided to eat here during the oceans calling festival instead of paying for the overpriced food inside the festival area. I got a corn dog and French fries. The prices were very reasonable and the service was fast. Workers were friendly too. The corn dog was perfect. The hot dog had great flavor and a nice snap. The breading was delicious. On the boardwalk you have endless choices of deep fried snack stands to get your artery clogging goodness from. My kids and wife were enticed by Johnny Ps to get their once every 5 year deep fried Oreos from them. The stand is efficient and had a variety if nothing else. 9$ for 7 fried Oreos. They were... This place is over priced on SOME of their items. Not really concerned about that as it was the beach. My concern is the awful customer service. They seem very impatient and have attitudes when people are trying to order. I noticed this with me and other customers. I was really upset when I'm holding a pizza, and other items while trying to help my friend with her baby and my order came up. I asked my friend's little cousin, a 13 year old, to go get it from the counter, which was only no more than 15 feet away. The woman refused to give the order to him insisting he didn't pay for it and pointed at me and told me I needed to come get it. Clearly I was managing a 1.5 year old, with lightning speed, while holding all these items. It took some back and forth before she finally Gave it to him. So - at Polock Johnnys and the first thing the cook says is "don't get your hopes up" I've found that there are two time when "don't get your hopes up" is a definitely a bellwether for "get the fuck out " and both times involve sausages of one kind or another. I got a little hungry on a weekend in late December, 2018, and was happy to see Polack Johnny's open for business. I got a couple of hot dogs, which were grilled, the way I like them, and a soda pop. Horrible....My husband and i ordered 2 philly cheese steak hoagies and 2 drinks. Total came to 45.00. Totally over priced. The hoagie was made very basic. Steakums..french fry cheese and oinions. We will never be back. read more

I visited this establishment and had quite an unpleasant experience. Not wanting to pay for bottled water I asked for two cups of water from the tap. The woman at the counter replied, "We do not serve tap water here". Disgruntled, I said, "Okay...we'll take two bottled waters". After we sat down I then saw the soda taps and told my friend not to open her bottle of water yet. I went around the counter to get a good look and there was a lever below one of the soda taps that said "water". I was confused to say the least. I told the woman at the counter that there indeed was tap water, she then said, "It is the same price as bottled water." I replied, "No it's not" and she said, "Yes it is". Once the food came I took the two bottled waters to her and asked for a refund, she said, "No refunds". I then sat back down and saw her take out a black marker and a piece of cardboard. I was confused yet again, so I watched as she wrote on the cardboard 'Cash Only, No refunds' and put it in front of the register. When we finished our meal, I went up to the counter and told the women that I believe it is illegal to deny me tap water and that I also believe tap water is free. She ignored the statement and proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't tell her how to do her job. While the woman was talking, a man who also appeared to be working there angrily said, "that is not water, it is seltzer, and we do have tap water in the back but it is not safe to drink, we use it to wash the dishes". read more

Man this place is awesome. The corn dog was great. The spicy italian sausage was great also. I got it with onions and peppers on it. The GF had the corndog. We came back the next day and had more corndogs. Im eager to try the polish sausage. They also have fried oreos and such. Horrible hygiene practices here. Woman who is always at counter is without mask 80% of the time. The other 20% she is wearing it like a chin strap on a football helmet. If they flaunt their disregard for County Health Department regulations during the pandemic, just imagine what they do when they are not under the microscope. I am not usually very big on boardwalk food other than Thrasher's however, my husband and I decided to trust the reviews for Polock Johnnys and try it out this weekend while we are in Ocean City. We had the mild italian sausage sandwich with friend onions and mustard. I often avoid food like this because it will often give me a stomach ache but my stomach was fine after eating here and the food was good. Everything was made fresh in front of you and it was definitely worth the wait. If you are braving the Ocean City boardwalk you should swing by here for some good food. read more

This place has some really good food, hotdogs, sandwiches, burgers and pizzas. The workers there are fairly polite although there was a brief scuffle between the chief and the cashier which was a little awkward. My only major issue is the three food items I bought while delicious I feel were a tad overpriced but being OceanCity I really shouldn't be that surprised. read more

Bomb polish sausage and fresh tart lemonade! Cooked fresh and delicious in less than 10 minutes. Also watched them deal with a really crappy customer that was screaming at them because she doesn't understand how banks work. RUDE!!!!! Do not support this business. My son bought two slices of pizza and a large drink. My other son bought a wrapper from a few door down and came back to eat with my son. They told him he was not allowed to sit at the table with my other son unless he bought something. i go here everytime i'm in ocean city. they have a small indoor seating area in the back as well or stools in the front that you can sit & eat. we always order the same food when we're here. i get the lemonade, spicy buffalo wings, pizza & the strawberry funnel cake. they give you a big lemonade cup i barely finish it & i usually get thirsty when i eat. the funnel cake was crispy & the strawberries they use was good. the wings are called spicy buffalo wings but i don't think they taste spicy , taste more like regular buffalo wings. i like the buffalo sauce they use though, they give you a lot of that sauce. it's a good fast food place that we can relax inside to cool down & have a meal. they have a bathroom there but it has a lock code you'll have to ask the employee what it is. see ya next time i'm in oc! read more

Dinner on the boardwalk... Old School. Hubby's been coming here since he was a kid and was thrilled to bring our youngest children there for dinner tonight. The littlest had a corn dog, the 9 yr old girl had TWO polish sausages, and hubby had one too! They loved every bite. This is hot dogs and sausages... or desserts like fried oreos. Nothing gourmet and not much of variety on the menu. But if you're looking for a classic bite on the boards, this is the place to go. There is a dining room with AC where you can sit at a table, but you'll need to get your stuff on the boards and then bring it back to the dining room yourself. read more

For a quick bite to eat on the boardwalk, I was pleasantly surprised! We split a polish sausage with the works, and fried pickles which were a special. The sausage was cooked great, and the fried pickles were the best I've tasted so far, they had fresh batter that had some dill in them, felt a lot less greasy than I thought they would! It seemed to be two cakes stacked on top of each other. Remarkably it wasn't very greasy, which was great. A little heavy on the powdered sugar, so next time I'd tell them to take it a little easy. STAY AWAY - Unfortunately at least one star is required to post a rating. It should really be zero stars. In my opinion this place poses a significant health hazard. I requested fresh half & half for a coffee, because of the noxious smell coming from the couple of ounces that remained in the unrefrigerated carton. It had obviously spoiled. Without checking it, the woman placed the spoiled creamer back in the refrigerator. When I asked her to smell it she said ' "It says May, is only April!" While she was putting away spoiled creamer, the guy starts pouring some batter out of a filthy container, into a deep fryer. I left the coffee there and walked out.
