Poor service from Maddy, and the food was horrible. My boyfriend and I just left, it's April6th. Ordered bar drinks and waters, didn't get the waters until we got our food. He ordered a steak medium rare and I ordered the meatloaf. Both of us had mashed potatoes and green beans. His steak came out well done, and our green beans were practically still raw. Barely and apology for his steak cooked wrong, they offered to make a new one but it was kind of the last straw with the experience. The mash potatoes were good but we won't be back. There was a 30 minute wait for a table but we were able to get a drink to wait at the bar. Once we got a table, the bartender was actually our waiter and the service was a little lackluster. We had to wait quite awhile to put our order in, wait for utensils, and wait for our bill. However, the food was bette than the service. The mahi mahi bites and steamed shrimp were very good. My husband and I got the Cubano and chicken Caesar tacos to share and both were very good. The service was most likely just a one-off, but the food made up for that and we will be back. read more

Looking for some Raw Bar food we found this location. The look of this spot was awesome. Beer cans and license plates all over. We ordered chilled shrimp and clams originally. The claims were rubbery and horrible. Def frozen. We returned these and got 12 oysters. The oysters were damn good! Some of the best. Shrimp was your standard shrimp. Cocktail sauce was nice. Service was understanding we weren't happy with the meal. I would come for the oysters. I never had the meat so I have to give it a try next time. read more

This place had great service and require masks when not eating. The service was amazing the the food was good! The restaurant was overlooking the boardwalk and was partially open to let in fresh air. Stopped here just for a quick few to get some solace...didn't work out, but not the establishments fault. The bartender , Scott, was attentive and personable. I was very happily surprised by the quality of food, the nice cold beer, and the cleanliness of restaurant and attached hotel. Food and service are top priority here so go in the evening and get this all from Ella and Kevin at the back bar for a great dinner experience. We go here at least 3 times every trip and this year even the hubby got the breakfast sandwich with brisket for under 6 dollars at the to go window service in the morning and raved about it. Also learned this trip that the best baked beans along with breakfast here on top of the pit beef sandwiches and oysters that we already love. Great food right on the boardwalk. Stayed in Ocean City for one night and after spending the day walking up and down the boardwalk looking at the kites from the Kite Festival, my feet were tired. I was excited that the Bull on the Beach was so close to my hotel. For an off season day, there were a lot of people. I took this as a good sign. I ordered the Pitt Beef and a side of corn bread. I added melted cheddar cheese with a side of horseradish. Very good! The house made chips were also good! Wait staff was attentive and food was delivered very quickly. Loved the license plates all over the walls and hostess stand. As a side note, I noticed that all of the staff was helping each out. It looks like a nice place to work. read more

It seemed out of place but if you think about it of course they do! They take all the goodness from all the beef they cook and make it into a delicious soup! Game changer! Haven't been here for a few years. But Dad likes pit beef sandwiches, so we dropped by. The size of the sandwich is not comparable to the $15 they charge for it. Wouldn't mind the price hike if they didn't cut back on the beef. We had to track down our server several times since she didn't return to check on us after bringing food. Vacationing in Ocean City and Bull on the Beach was recommended by a friend, and after seeing the reviews, figured we would give it a shot. Check in was a breeze and after seeing they offered outside seating, was able to score a table along the boardwalk outisde. Our server Riley stopped by as soon as we sat down and was quick to bring our drinks, which included a cold beer. From the beginning until the very end, Riley did a great job. When dining out, I am always happy to bring my daughter, who is a vegetarian, along and she ordered the Taco Salad (Greens, Onions, Tomatoes, Olives, Cheese, Crumbled Tortillas & Roasted Corn) at first I thought I was dining solo but was happy she found this. I ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich (14 Hour Charcoal Smoked Brisket. - Sandwich Included choice of ONE Side: French Fries, Potato Salad, Coleslaw or Baked Beans ) I went with the fries and added some coleslaw. The food came out quick and I must admit, it was very tasty. Added to good food was the cold beer and the outside dinning experience which only made it better. This week my friend's family and I were staying at The Park Place, and we came to Bull on the Beach not because we saw it's big logo and convenient location compared to where we were on the beach. We tried to call in the order and they told us we could order online. Then we checked their website, which was honestly well designed and easy to order on. We ordered our food and they told us their would be a 15-20 minute wait. I took a quick break and grabbed something from my hotel room and the food was on time and ready to be picked up. We ended up eating on the beach, we ordered three Reubens, chicken tenders, and an order of fries. We didn't understand their entrees would come with fries so we ordered extra. The Reuben was delicious and the fries were okay. I've had better. We came here later that afternoon and ordered dinner, I got a burger. The location was perfect since it had a nice view and was right next to our hotel on the boardwalk. The burger was delicious and the fries were perfect. The cheddar cheese on my burger was like cheese wiz and had the same consistency as ketchup. That was pretty gross. I wish a i would've known that before ordering the burger. Arrived about 530 on a Tuesday evening. Was seated right away but took 10 minutes for a waitress to come. We ordered and when the food runner came, a drink was spilled. Not a big deal, but the look she gave me was if I killed her dog or something. She just left and a few minutes later a bussesr showed up. He literally took a dirty mop and put it up on the bench seat where we were sitting and mopped it. If that was not enough. He took the broom from the floor and put it ON our table to sweep off the ice. While our food we just got was on the table. Waitress never checked back to see how everything was.i was disgusted. FANTASTIC RESTAURANT!!! Right on the Boardwalk between 2nd and 3rd street, this easy to miss restaurant is something you DO NOT WANT TO MISS! With a small, non standoutish sign, we never would have found this place unless we were looking for it. In OC for a girls weekend in the off season, we knew we wanted seafood and man did we GET GREAT SEAFOOD! To start we ordered a Grapefruit Crush and Bull Rum Punch. Both drinks had a strong pour and were very dangerous! Dangerously good! From there we went for the 1/2 lb of Old Bay Steamed Shrimp and Crab Dip. The bread for the crab dip was soft and the crab dip was cheesy, savory and most importantly, filled with crab. The steamed shrimp was fresh and the cocktail sauce was excellent. For entrees we ordered two of the Broiled Crab Cake Platters, one with fries and one without. The Crab Cake was ALL CRAB, no filler and 100% amazing. Paired with tarter sauce and it was a French kiss crab cake! The fries are nothing to ride home about, especially compared to Thrashers, but I was already so full that the fries were hardly touched anyways. Vibes were a 10/10, interior was a 10/10, service was FANTASTIC 10/10 and the food was AMAZING 11/10. Will definitely be returning next time I come to OC and would recommend this place to anyone visiting. read more

We started with a round of crushes and split an order of wings, the sticky charred beef ends and a half dozen raw oysters. Everything was excellent. The wings were crunchy and extra saucy and while the sticky beef ends may look plain they packed a lot of flavor. I really enjoyed them. The oysters were also fresh and tasty. 8/11/17 This was out first stop when we first arrive to OC for a #BrideTribe weekend of nonstop shenanigans. We found parking at a good spot, close to the boardwalk and started walking, in search for place to grab some food because we were all starved by then. BOTB looked welcoming and we liked the whole idea of sitting up high and taking in the scenery. Our server was very nice. He chatted us up and liked the fact that we were New Yorkers (sometimes I think people just say that lol). We order a few items to share and pick at, not really wanting to fill up at any one place because in true fat girl fashion, we wanted to be able to try as many places as our tummies could handle. I ordered the Crab Soup, thinking it would be more of a chowder but it was a tomato-based brothy soup that I wish I didn't get. It didn't taste bad, on the contrary, it was quite tasty but it just wasn't what I was expecting. We shared an order of fries that were crispy and soft inside. The Grilled Shrimp Skewers are nicely seasoned and the Old Bay/Hot Wings were soooo good. Now, the Crab Dip was everything and we were all licking our chops. They also have a great beer selection. We kept it simple and light and had a few beers and it was on to the next place. I'm happy that we picked this place as our first OC experience. This was a great surprise. When I am in a place like Ocean City I don't expect great food. But Bull on the Beach starts with an incredible view and the food is no let down from there. Everything was good to great. And our server was delightful. Crab dip: definitely very solid Steamed shrimp: outstanding! It's so easy to overdo shrimp and these guys nailed it and then we got another pound and they nailed it again. Tender and delicious. Pitt beef: again very solid. I'm sure it's not the best I've had but it was an excellent sandwich. Fried shrimp: my daughter had this and it was great. Grilled cheese: my son was extremely happy :) The baked beans side: I forgot to mention that my baked beans on the side of the beef were very small but actually some of the nicest baked beans I've ever had and they do them in house. We had two salads: both people said they were great. All in all, everyone was really happy. The only low point was the coleslaw on the side of the shrimp which is at best meh. 4 in terms of food 5 in terms of service, location, view. I rated at 5 stars simply because it's definitely better than the 3.5 that it is currently rated-- so I rounded up. read more
