My wife and I have been wanting to return to this restaurant for a while now but we've been so busy. We ordered take out last time and we were so impressed, we promised to come back. We ordered the lamb shank stew and the beyti lamb kabab dishes along with a couple of appetizers. The service here is EXCELLENT and the food quality is superb. They don't use preservatives and you can really taste the quality. The staff is friendly and you can tell they care about their customers. I really don't know how our food came out so fast. the food was absolutely delicious! i am very picky with trying falafel at most restaurants, and i can say that their falafel was so delicious! if you come here, DEFINITELY order the pita fries! they were both crispy AND chewy, which i actually loved, and it was a perfect appetizer. they weren't seasoned but it was served with hummus. and the hummus was sooo good, it was creamy and flavorful and had some olive oil drizzled on top. despite having a lot of fried food in my meal, nothing i ate was overly greasy and it still felt like a healthy meal. there is a wide selection of starters/shareables so this would be a great place to come if you want to try new mediterranean food with some friends. :) we came for a weekday dinner and it wasn't too busy, but it was definitely loud in there (as we were basically yelling at each other from across the table lol). i will definitely be back to try the other dips! read more

She was very accommodating. I had the babaganoush (probably spelled incorrectly) and it was tasty. I also really enjoyed the fried pita hummus appetizer as well, which is a Yelp extra. Delish! In addition I had the stuffed grape leaves which were very good and served warm. Homemade as well, and an order of the beef shawarma plate. Everything was really good. No complaints. Pom & Olive is in a weird location off of a freeway exit. As its cute name suggests, this is a quaint restaurant that serves comfort on a plate. I greatly appreciate the interior, which is a hodgepodge of flower and seaside village paintings. The chairs were quite stunning too. We started off with the watermelon mint lemonade which was very refreshing and icy. It was a mix between a slush and a lemonade and it had bits of mint throughout. A great combination of flavors that I haven't tried before. The falafels were good, quite flavorful. They come with tomatoes, pickles, and fried eggplant on a bed of hummus. I really enjoyed the combo koobideh plate with beef and chicken. It was enough for two people with the falafel appetizer. The koobideh was moist and soft with the perfect amount of bite. I substituted the Mediterranean salad with their kale salad which had a fresh vinaigrette, cranberries, carrots, and lentils. The yogurt sauce that comes on this combo plate is delicious.
