Tried this new Thai restaurant on Mills and it was very good. It was getting late on a week night but they graciously welcomed us in. My friend was happy to see Singha Beer on the menu since she knew it from a recent trip to Thailand. It was very good! We were given two complimentary spring rolls that were also very good. We ordered the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai for dinner. Both dishes were nicely prepared and big enough to provide two delicious lunches the following day. My favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando! The green curry is my favorite go-to, but everything I've tried has been delicious. Portions are large and I always have leftovers. I have driven past Pop Thai many times and finally dropped in for lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into find a really nice chic restaurant with an amazing menu. I had the Thai Noodle Soup with shrimp. It was presented beautifully. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly. The broth was delicous as were the rice noodles! My son had the Pad Thai with chicken and I had a taste it too was delicious! We will definitely be back as it looked like they had a nice wine list that I would like to try with my meal next time. read more

This is great Thai Food! I came in very hesitant, being a big fan of a different restaurant. The signs outside do not reflect the look and feel of the inside. Nice and cozy, not too opulent with very friendly service. Try the Pad Thai, better than at my favorite restaurant. Also the Chicken Onion is fragrant and delicious. Want a special treat? Have a Singha beer with your Chicken Onion, and I promise you will want to pour the beer in the soup. The place just opened in August 2015, and I hope they stick around for a long time. read more

I am giving 5 stars for the service alone but the food was good too! My sister and I have been waiting for this place to open. And after getting my hair done I just wanted to pop in ( pun intended) for some take out. I asked how long it would be and was told about 15 min. I ordered my go to green curry w chicken. It was ready in MUCH less time. I was offered a FREEEEEEE thai iced tea by the owner Nina. She was so sweet. She was telling about how they just opened, asked me how I knew about the place, and told me that she really wants customer's feedback to let them know about "portion size, price, menu items not on the menu", etc. She was so friendly and honest. It's been a long time since I thought an owner gave a shit about what customer's feedback was. So this was awesome. So Nina, here are my thoughts... -$4 for a thai tea is a lot. (mine was free and therefore wayyy more yummy) -my "thai hot" green curry was good, the veggies were perfect, but for thai hot I thought it would have been hotter. (Yelpers, don't get me wrong this was hot. I just like to burn my tastebuds off whenever possible) - As someone that doesn't eat seafood, I would love to see a non seafood dumpling. And maybe more appetizers in general. I love going places with friends and just ordering a bunch of apps so everyone gets to try. -the atmosphere is super cute -the fact that there is sake, Japanese and Thai beer as well as domestic is awesome. Hopefully, eventually the list of wine, sake and beer will be even more diverse. Until now Thailicious in Longwood was my fav and ONLY spot for Thai b/c its crazy good. Good Thai food, nice addition to the area. We were served a complimentary app and coconut ice cream for dessert. The music they play is trendy and gives the place a cool vibe. Love love love this place. It's rare that I give out 5 stars. As soon as you walk into this little hidden jem off of mills you will be encapsulated in its charm, from its little fireplace to its subtle decor. The food is amazing, everything is elegantly served and you won't be disappointed in the portions. We ordered the drunken noodle with chicken along with panang curry chicken and egg fried rice. I just wanted to keep eating past the point of rupturing my stomach. The warm Saki was well warm Saki, pretty standard. If you come for the food you will most definitely be not only satisfied but a new regular at this little Thai restaurant. The staff here is wonderful so friendly and attentive, the cooks came out twice to ask us how the food was and we were pleased to tell them how wonderful it was... from the quantity, quality and hospitality of this place it definitely deserves 5 stars. read more

I came across the place when my usual Thai place was closed and I was craving some pad Thai during my lunch break. I had driven by the restaurant often on Mills, but never thought of stopping in until now.. and I'm so glad I did! The interior of the restaurant is cute, and our server was really friendly. We had the lunch special which included 3 appetizers and a choice of an entree. The appetizers were a soup, salad and fried vegetable dumplings in small portions arranged on a plate. Everything was so delicious! I had the drunken noodles with tofu which also really tasty. Another in my group ordered the Thai Chili Jam curry with rice (that, by the way, came in a HEART SHAPE! Definitely ordering that next time). The server was also really good in explaining the heat levels to us as there was a few in our group who can't handle heat. Checked out this place over the weekend and it did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately and the directed to sit any place we wanted since the place was not crowded. I got the Pad Thai with chicken which was fantastic. I asked for it mild and was happy that it still had a ton of flavor and just a hint of heat. I'm so excited to have finally found good pad Thai in Orlando! The red curry was also delicious. Our server was very nice and the decor is fresh. It kind of felt like the lounge area of a night club. Bonus points because they have parking in the back of the restaurant and off the road so I don't have to worry about cars flying by on mills. This place had decent reviews so we gave it a shot. We ordered chicken coconut soup and shrimp pad thai. I was told the soup was delicious (he added chili sauce). My pad thai seemed fresh and the peanut sauce was probably the best I've had. Pad thai itself wasn't stellar but that being said, I actually didn't dig into it until a few hours later so if eaten immediately or within the hour, it might've been ten times better. The best Thai restaurant in the Orlando area, hands down. Perfect Tom Yum Goong, the only place I know of that have default vegetarian pot stickers (woo hoo!) and THE BEST mini fried donuts. Thai food has always been my weakness and I've had enough Massaman curry that I'm pretty sure I should just learn to make it already. Anyway, this is from the perspective of a vegan with allergies, and the owner of a little 4 month old. We went to dinner with our little spawn in tow before going to a movie (don't worry, we dropped him off with his aunt, we aren't THOSE parents), so we were a little rushed for time but figured we could order fast and get the check with the food. First off, the place is really cute. While I liked Yum-Mi, I absolutely LOVE the lower lights and the mood set by the new layout. It felt quaint, romantic, but still fairly modern. Very much a nice place for a date. The servers greet you immediately and are super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We were surprised to see it so empty, so hopefully some good reviews will let people know what they are missing. The food- my husband ordered the White Guy Special™ (Pad Thai) with chicken and loved it. He even had enough to take leftovers home with us (which were just as good re-heated). I ordered the massaman curry and was a little hesitant because my #1 place for that dish is Siam Garden (but it's too far to drive and the Thai place closer to me- Thai House- doesn't make great massaman in my opinion) and with such a high bar I hate to be disappointed. I was 100% not, it was awesome! They could have slightly eased up on the amount of cooked carrots but the flavor was on point! I had enough for left overs and they do you the favor of putting your leftovers in to-go containers for you! (and even adding a touch more rice on request) Service was friendly, fast, and professional. The food was amazing, and you can easily fit a car seat in the booths there. Pop Thai has a pretty relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere! It's a fun restaurant to take a small group of friends to if you're interested in Thai food. I had the sweet and sour shrimp, with rice on the side. The shrimp was a little tough but the added vegetables and sauce made for a great combination. That being said, I was overwhelmed by the amount of vegetables; something I was not expecting.
