No bathroom inside for customers to use, and the tables inside are always dirty so it is never appealing to eat the crispy fried chicken indoors. Getting takeout from here is best as they are usually quick and prompt with fulfilling orders. Unfortunately as the staff packed us two single meals to-go.. they decided that no napkins or forks or utensils were needed in the bag. We had to ask for them to be put in. Also, while we waited for our order we heard a few other customer complaints on different issues. Located on the corner, easy to spot! There's a large parking lot if you can't park right in front. Chicken tenders are crispy, with bbq sauce and ranch! (Both sauces are great) chicken is moist, fries were a little greasy, and the biscuit was a bit dry. If you warmed up the biscuit with butter it would be great! When I go to Popeye's I normally get my usual dark meat chicken because I find the white meat chicken too dry. This time, I decided to try their chicken sandwich (yes, I've never tried it until today). I was glad I did. The chicken, even though it's the breast (I think) was nice and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cashier that helped me was friendly too and I got my sandwich pretty quickly. They are the closest Popeyes to our house and we order from them once a week. Previously it bothered me that they would never pick up the phone when our order was incorrect when we ordered online. Have been a Popeyes fan for a long time....first saw them in Texas back when...there was another fried chicken chain that had better choices..."Frenchy's" that had collard greens, dirty rice and the best fried chicken...really close to home cooking food. But, Frenchy's got bought out or got lost in the fray and didn't survive. But, Popeyes did. Our local Popeyes for some reason the last few times I've picked up chicken, red beans n rice...not a lot of cajun flavor in the food. Seems to have lost the new orlean's flavors...has been "gentrified" like so many California food chains..not sure if this is a 24/7 challenge for this particular restaurant. This restaurant is small, so if you go at a busy time, you may not find a table. There is no drive-thru at this location. I felt discriminated by the Hispanic lady who was the cashier at this location, I was so upset that I walked out with my family. She was forcing me to use the kiosk to place my order instead of doing her job and taking my order. Then she has the audacity to help other customers behind me as I'm trying to navigate my order screen. I asked her why she helped other customers and not me and she says because they need help and I don't because of my age. Then she starts ranting about how nice she is to everyone because she was obviously self conscious of her actions and what other customers were witnessing. I don't understand all the negative reviews. We buy chicken here frequently, and have never had any problem with staff or service. The chicken is about what you would expect, although can be too greasy at times. However, I was told that they fry the chicken in beef fat, which is impressive! And delicious. Most restaurants and fast food places use cheap, toxic "seed" oils, like canola. Saturated fats are NOT the enemy, people. Our ancestors grew up with butter, lard, tallow, etc., and had nowhere near the obesity, heart disease and diabetes that plague our population today. Way to go, Popeye's. read more

I came in here for lunch with my son on the way to our barber shop which is nearby. Given the choices and since we had BBQ'd steaks the night before I said chicken. To me this location was better than the other across town (see my review if you care), there wasn't a smell of rotten eggs (again see my review of the other location)...always a bonus and the two guys working there had a sense of humor. The food comes out pretty quick (hence the term "fast-food") and was what we ordered. I got a water cup while I told my son to get the drink with the combo we shared. It was the shotglass style...I would recommend they get a larger cup for water...IT IS WATER...anyway over all it was okay. The management and workers here need to learn about customer service. They are extremely rude and even made my mother cry. She doesn't really know how to use technology and was trying to redeem a coupon from the Popeyes app. When another customer tried to help her with the app , the manager snapped at both of them. Is that how you treat paying customers? This is not an isolated event. If you read any of the reviews here it's all the same : good food, horrible service. The staff was friendly, striking up friendly conversations while still trying to get the line moving. Holy horrible! The other reviews for this Popeyes were not lying. This review isn't about the food, just the shitty service. If you didn't know, the lobby closes at 9:30pm (despite closing at 10pm), which isn't displayed anywhere. But don't worry! The girl at the cash register will start yelling out her 15 minute countdown at promptly 9:15pm until you feel so uncomfortable that you nearly choke on your food to get out of there as fast as you can. Not sure if she has a timer set to scream out each minute you have left or if she's counting down the seconds in her head. Around minute 8, my cousin still had not received his food because they forgot his order. Ironically, we were told to order sooner and take a hint next time.
