    Strawberry lemonade turkey bagel
    Kayla K.

Oh, I just love a delicious bagel, and Pop's Bagels absolutely has that! This shop is so cute, and don't even get me started on the freshly squeezed lemonade. I'm a stickler when it comes to places that say "freshly squeezed" because it isn't always true but this one was definitely the real deal and made to perfection. I'm literally dreaming about it now! The bagels were amazing, and they have such a great assortment of choices. Whether you're looking for breakfast or lunch, this is definitely the spot. Everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back. OMG... yum!

Popped into Pop's to grab a couple GF everything and sesame bagels and vegan cream cheese. They have the best non dairy cream cheese and possibly the best gluten free bagels. It's a small joint on Beverly Drive just south of Santa Monica Boulevard. They specialize in, get this, bagels but they also have soft drinks and OJ.

Cinnamon raisin with lox spread. Amazing at other places... not here.

I used to think Pops was pretty good. But today I realized they are nothing special. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with lox spread. I always get this at Hank's. When I took a bite I noticed a glaring difference. The cinnamon raisin was not vibrant and there was hardly any lox in the lock spread. It just tasted and looked like regular cream cheese. The bagel also lacked chewiness. I probably won't return because I realize now how inferior these bagels are.

Pop's Bagels is an excellent spot in Beverly Hills! I really enjoyed the bagel with salmon and capers -it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. It's a great place to spend the morning with friends over a good breakfast

As I was walking around Beverly Hills early in the morning, I needed something to nourish my tummy, so I popped in for a bagel or two. I ordered an everything bagel and an onion bagel with salmon smear. I was quite pleased with the bagel quality and size. The salmon spread was good but not out of this world. Of course, I might be a tough judge as I have had some of the best bagels and smears in the world on the east coast. Bagels cost at least 2.50 a piece. Specialty bagels are more. The salmon smear is a bit pricy- 6 dollars for the smear along- may be best to get a side order of smear if they sell them. I did not see that on their menu. The inside space is small but seemed liked most people take their food to go- well at least at 7am in the morning when they opened. The atmosphere was clean and comfy. The service provided early in the morning was friendly. The lady was very patient and kind.

    Nova lox on everything
    Gab G.

Came on a weekday morning and there was no line; got the nova lox on everything. The bagel itself did not impress this New Yorker - it was a little hard and could have been more flavorful - but props for great lox and amazing tomato. And for serving it open-faced. As for the eternal "bagels are better in NYC" argument... Gotta be the water, right?

Everything bagel! Completely covered in seasoning that stays on the bagel not the plate or napkin!

Cute little shop in the middle of the bustle of Beverly Hills! The woman was extremely nice and the bagels are outstanding! The everything bagel is the best I've ever had! The coffee was delicious! The bagels are perfect! Fluffy and just the right chewy mouth feel, of and they're big! I usually toast my bagel, I tried half toasted and half not and got the first time I decided these are so good they don't need to be toasted!!!! I arrived early to pick up my bagels and was surprised at how wonderfully I was treated! This is my new go to bagel place!

I'm on a determined quest to find the best bagels in Los Angeles and @popsbagelsla is top of my list! Nothing beats the Nova Lox sandwich, with the onion bagel was incredible! The merch and workers are the sweetest, I will be wearing this adorable sweatshirt in cozy season. I'm going to meticulously list off all the schemer flavors so you can be impressed by the variety: scallion, jalapeño, vegan, lox, strawberry, lemony, plain, butter, and tuna. A magical spot with $12 incredible breakfast burritos and the best matcha latte. Don't forget the cookies!

Fast & friendly service. Yummy bagel. I ordered the Bacon, avocado & cream cheese on a plain bagel. The bagel was toasted to a crispy perfection and tasty. On the more expensive side but then again what isn't these days!

Not living in LA means YELP is our go to especially since we must find a place that offers gluten free options for the little. I came across this place on the yelp search and it claimed 100 percent gluten free and for that I was intrigued and extremely thankful. This location was in Beverly Hills, parking was easy(we found street, metered parking) not a lot of traffic for it being a Saturday morning but we were new to that area so I cant say what the norm is. When we walked in the bakery was busy with happy customers, amd we were immediately greeted by a couple of the most genuinely nice people of whom I assume are the owners (sorry I forgot to ask). Usually when walking into a bakery that has gluten free options my daughter always looks to me.to see what she can have and from that she willl make a couple or selections, all of which is extremely limited. This time I was able to tell her she could choose anything. Thw way her eyes lit up when she saw the glazed donut, it makes a mom heart want to cry when she gets to experience something so normal as a glazed donut but in this case a glazed donut on a whole other culinary level( so amazingly delicious). She told the gluten free genius helping her that she had never had a glazed donut and he packaged it up on the house. Hannah then proceeded to order as many things from the case as I would allow for the moment. She just wanted to try all the things she had never been able to before. I did have to promise we would be back to buy more the next time we come to LA. She settled on most of the sweets although this bakery has bagels and sourdough bread. Shes not much of a bread eater in general unless its smothered with Nutella so next time we will try the breads. So back to the experience, we sat down and she tried a bite or 2 of everything and LOVED IT ALL!! The glazed donut met all of her expectations and blew her mind. Coming in to second place was the Oreo babka and the croissant. Before leaving Hannah went to thank them and tell them she loved it, she was then given a second item to try(the chocolate croissant). We took it to go and she tried it in the car on the way to the Getty, she was in pure food bliss. Thank you for creating a bakery for the adults and the littles that is safe and delicious. But most importantly thank you for treating my daughter with the utmost respect and genuine kindness you dont find just anywhere. We WILL be back soon. Hannah rates service and sweets, 1 million stars!

This is the worst donut I've had in my life. The texture is like crumbly dry cake and it tastes salty with a wine-like flavored frosting. Nothing strawberry-like or brioche-like about this donut. Both my friends also tried the donut and were wtf I genuinely don't know how this could be sold and recommended to anybody. I would have loved to have found a good gluten-free establishment but this missed the mark terribly.

Old-school booths, a deli counter, and décor that basically says, "We were here before you could afford to shop on Rodeo Drive." But when it comes to the food, this place can hang with the best New York delis. And before we even ordered, out came the complimentary pickle platter--several varieties of pickles, because apparently at a real Jewish deli, amuse-bouche is French for "here's a plate of cucumbers soaking in vinegar." Sweet, sour, half-sour, crunchy--basically a pickle flight without the Beverly Hills price tag. The matzo ball soup was top-notch--soup simplicity at its finest. Rich chicken broth, a moist and tender matzo ball, noodles, and carrots. Nothing fancy, nothing reinvented, nothing served with microgreens or truffle foam. Just exactly what matzo ball soup is supposed to be. Then came our off-menu creation: corned beef and turkey with house-made coleslaw and Russian dressing on toasted sourdough. It arrived piled high enough to require FAA clearance, yet somehow the structural integrity was flawless. I ate the entire thing without a single piece of shredded cabbage escaping onto the plate. If Nate 'n Al's ever gets out of the deli business and goes into general contracting, hire them immediately. With sandwich-building skills like these, they could put up an 80-story high-rise on the San Andreas Fault and not lose a window. The atmosphere is equally authentic. A couple of the servers looked like they could have walked straight onto the set of The Sopranos without an audition. One compact, old-school Italian-looking gentleman in particular had me wondering whether my sandwich came with a side of "fuhgeddaboudit." So forego the fancy Beverly Hills lunch where your entrée arrives under a silver dome and costs about the same as a car payment. Go to Nate 'n Al's, get a real deli sandwich and a bowl of matzo ball soup, then walk a few steps over to Rodeo Drive and spend all the money you saved. Old school. No pretense. Serious deli. And apparently some of the finest sandwich engineering in Southern California.

Courage Bagels is a cute little corner spot with a bumping line even 30 minutes before closing. Despite having just had lunch, my friend and I decided to stop by and pick up some bagels. The bagels are phenomenal. If you go inside to use the washroom, you'll see the fresh bagel-making in action. They have a whole old-fashioned assembly line with the orders hanging from a string. While the texture is crunchy on the outside, the bagel is incredibly soft and chewy on the inside. You can tell these are handmade bagels. My friend enjoyed the roe on a sea salt sesame bagel and said it was tasty and fresh. I found the onion bagel a tad burnt on the outside, but the texture was still amazing.
