Finally, a bagel worth talking about in Oceanside! This grab-and-go place does it right. They have a handful of bagel flavors, a few solid smears, and canned/bottled drink options, and high boy seating outside + a bench. Bagel flavors: plain, everything, poppy, salt, sesame. The salt bagel had a legit crust -- boiled AND baked, the way it should to be. Chewy interior, not bready, not doughy. The crust is a step up for our bagel scene, but not as textured or crunchy as a NYC bagel. Cold drinks available from the fridge -- bottled or canned, nothing fancy, everything you need. Ordering is painless. There are 2 people to help take orders You can order a single bagel, or even order packs (3, 6, or 9). I do recommend having a menu outside though, so people can absorb what to order, and how. It started to get crowded inside as a few people were all crammed together to try and view the menu on the wall.

By far the best bagels I've ever had! First PopUp bagel experience was simply amazing. I'd been wanting to try it ever since the La Jolla location opened but didn't have a chance...then randomly saw they opened one in Oceanside too!? I'm a die hard bagel fan and we just don't have great places on the west coast that are anything close to a NY bagel. Arrived at 7:30 am with our pup and there was only a couple people ahead of us. Poppy, plain and everything with scallion shmear. Got home at 8am and the bagels were still hot! I couldn't believe how incredibly soft and chewy they were, insanely fresh. Honestly even better than I expected. The quality is definitely there. Well worth the $17 we paid, the cream cheese will last a couple days extra! PopUp Bagels? Worth the Hype.

Wickedly good! Bagels are chewy and variety of schemears are clever. I'm still a plain schemear gal. Chives schemears come in a close second. Wait times could improve and there aren't enough waiting areas in the immediate area. No seating in Tanner Prime so customers wait around the parking lot and it's dangerous waiting while cars are parking. Safety is important. Ambiance is nice. Head over to Revo and grab a coffee while devouring your bagel.

It's my first time at PopUp Bagels so it was unknown to me. I happen to be in the area for something else. I overheard someone talking about it's new to the neighborhood and that it's right across the street from where I was. I figured I'd check it out for myself. Right off the bat, the staff were friendly when I walked in. I felt the welcoming atmosphere immediately. I looove it when I don't now anything about a business which means I'll have my unbiased lens on. Right away, the customer service was on point. He was very patient with me when I asked for recommendations while a line was beginning to form behind me. I was in and out just like that! I got to enjoy my bagels at home. They were still warm and it dawned on me those seeds are going to make a good kinda mess. Lol

This bagel joint is more like a rip and tear situation with their own schmears and flavored butters. I thought it was pricey for three bagels and a tub of schmear. I did enjoy the crispiness of the bagels. The elote schmear was not as flavorful as I would have liked. It was whipped cream cheese with a few corn kernels and what looked like green onions? Super light in flavor that doesn't really over power the flavor of the bagel, which is maybe something they were going for. Overall, decent bagels if you want a simple, fresh bagel. Highly recommend to eat it there immediately to enjoy its fresh bake.

Came in on a Thursday morning and there was no wait! Love how the bagels are fresh and warm. Got the salt bagel w scallion cream cheese- very delish! Workers were friendly- good service! :) parking lot is tiny but if you come early morning there's parking. Tables inside and outside to eat!

The line looked a little intimidating when I first got there, but it moved much faster than I expected. Once I placed my order, my bagels were out in less than 10 minutes. I got the salt, plain, and everything bagels with the limited-edition chimichurri butter, and WOW. These bagels came out piping hot and fresh--like, fresh out of the oven hot. The everything bagel was probably my favorite, but honestly every single one was delicious. The chimichurri butter was so good that I found myself making sure every bite got a little bit of it. I'm planning on using it to cook steak and scallops at home tonight for dinner!! I'm glad I got to try it before they rotate to a new flavor in the next few days. The staff was friendly, patient, and efficient, even with a packed shop. PopUp Bagels absolutely lives up to the hype, and I'll definitely be back.

This morning, I went to popupbagels ,Despite the long line, I patiently waited. They offered a variety of bagel flavors, including salty, plain, poppy seeds, everything, and sesame. The schmears included plain, scallions, salted butter, and their weekly specials. I highly recommend arriving early at 7:00 AM to secure easy parking and avoid the line the ambiance of the place was welcoming and you can smell the fresh bagels

For some reason I was expecting this to be a food truck, but it wasn't. Maybe because the name gives off the vibe that they should be "popping up" around town. However, when I arrived they had taken over the bakery spot that was next to Tanners. Since it's pretty new there was a line that moved relatively quick. The real wait was having to wait for your bagels once you ordered. It definitely is an interesting concept... unlike other places where you order and unless it's a " sandwich you get your bagels right away... here.. you get your smear ( cream cheese) first then you have to wait for your bagels. They also only offer like 5 bagel options which was kinda odd, but maybe since they have a small working area that's the cause of the wait and limited options?! The bagels themselves were decent, but very small, i did appreciate them having a dairy free smear option though. It's an interesting concept, kinda weird they don't offer any sandwich style options as I love a good lox n bagel... but they're trying to be different. Overall, not sure I'd really be back as $15 for 3 small bagels and 1 smear is a bit much, especially when there's a variety of other good bagel spots around that offer a better selection.

After seeing countless videos of these New York bagels, they miraculously opened locations in SoCal. I got here around 10am and was lucky to find a parking spot. There was a long line that moved pretty quickly. You place your order and are handed your schmear. The waiting area kinda sucks, it's tight and not the most efficient. I waited around 20 minutes to get my bagels because the batch had to be freshly made. I got the 6 pack with a variety of everything, salt, plain, and sesame bagels for $24. It only came with one schmear which was disappointing because the 3 pack comes with one tub too, they should at least have the 6 pack come with 2... else you have to pay 8 freaking dollars for another container of schmear. Anyways, the bagels were steaming hot so be careful trying to rip them immediately. I was surprised to see that the bagel size was on the smaller side, but they were tasty. The bagels had great texture and flavor, also their scallion cream cheese is incredible. I know they have limited cream cheese flavor drops, but I wish they had more of a variety instead of butter dips. I'd definitely come here again to satisfy my bagel cravings.

    Cream cheese

Pop-Up Bagels in Oceanside has received a ton of hype on social media, and after seeing all the photos and videos on Instagram, we decided to give it a try. First, I'll give credit where it's due: the bagels were incredibly fresh, just as everyone says. The quality was definitely there. However, I'm going to be the odd one out and say I don't think the experience lives up to the hype. We ordered three bagels and two cream cheeses, and the total came out to about $25. For me, that's hard to justify. In what world should three bagels and two cream cheeses cost $25? What really didn't make sense was the bagel-to-cream-cheese ratio. The order came with two large containers of cream cheese, and after finishing our three bagels, we still had a massive amount left over. In fact, we later bought a dozen bagels from the grocery store and were able to use the leftover cream cheese on all of them. That's how much was left. Another downside is the limited menu. There are no egg sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, or other toppings--it's literally just bagels and cream cheese. Which is fine, but in my opinion, it turns it into a place you go to once and once that box is checked, you don't return as a go-to breakfast spot. Overall, while the bagels are fresh and tasty, I don't think the value is there. The prices are too high, the portion ratios don't make much sense, and the menu is extremely limited. For those reasons, I'd give Pop-Up Bagels a 3 out of 5 stars.

The hours are great, the space is clean and inviting, and the matcha was okay. One thing I found a little odd: they bring your food to the table, but not your drink. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. I came here twice in a row because I couldn't stop thinking about the lemon basil burrata toast. The first time was incredible which loaded with toppings and full of flavor. The second time looked noticeably lighter on the burrata and basil. Maybe it was an off day, because I know how good it can be. Overall, I'd still come back. The matcha was good enough, the toast was good enough to bring me back immediately, and despite the slightly curated "everyone here is working on a startup" vibe, the food was worth the visit.

I'm not a big donut person so they were ok and comparable to most places that don't have a greasy donut that leaves that oily taste in your mouth. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered. I legit think she charged me for 15 donuts instead of 5 cuz I saw something ring up as 15. Based off that I can confidently say I won't return. Items werent worth what I paid and if it was an error charge, the employee should have known that what I ordered was not close to $20 so I cant recommend this place
