Good food service was good and the price is right. I eat there once a week. The portions of food are good and well worth the price.

Good food. Very attentive waitress. Almost asked her to pull up a chair, since she hung around so much.

I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in my life, but nothing compares to the experience we had. Yes,…read morethe food was phenomenal. Yes, the ambiance was perfect. But let's be honest: this place runs on one thing and one thing only, Josh. From the moment we sat down, Josh didn't just "serve" our table. He orchestrated it. The man moves like a hospitality ninja. Water glasses never dropped below the halfway mark. Empty plates disappeared as if teleported. He anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. At one point, I casually considered ordering another drink, and somehow Josh was already walking toward the table with it. Telepathy? Probably. When we asked for recommendations, he didn't just list menu items, he delivered a passionate, Oscar-worthy monologue about flavor profiles, textures, and life-changing sauces. We ordered exactly what he suggested, and I'm convinced my taste buds ascended to a higher plane. If Josh told me to try something I've sworn I'd never eat, I'd trust him without hesitation. The food itself? Incredible. Perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and clearly crafted with care. But somehow it all tasted better because Josh brought it to the table. I'm not saying he seasoned it personally... but I'm also not ruling it out. He handled a packed dining room with the calm confidence of someone who was born for this. Other servers were great but it was hard to notice anyone else while witnessing Josh in his element. It felt less like dinner and more like watching a masterclass in hospitality. By the end of the night, we weren't just satisfied customers, we were Josh fans. If this restaurant has any sense, they'll put his face on the menu, the sign, maybe even the building. Five stars for the food. Five stars for the atmosphere. Ten stars for Josh. We'll absolutely be back, mostly to see Josh.

Dixon Diner 1312 Dixon Blvd., Cocoa, FL 32922…read more 4 Stars I am on a great roll with service this month. Vanessa is my server here, and she is number three in a row of outstanding service. Job well done, Vanessa! Dixon Diner in Cocoa, FL, is in a wonky location that the average traveler may miss. Let me tell you, that would be a mistake, as the food is great. But I get ahead of myself. I asked Vanessa for a two-egg breakfast with chopped steak, eggs over medium, hash browns, and the Southern breakfast staple of a biscuit with sausage gravy. The place was pretty barren, as you can see by the pictures; I assume it's the location. As such, my food was out in no time. Look at the pictures. Look at them! If a picture could talk, this one would be saying, "Flavor, flavor, flavor." The chopped steak is made to order and gigantic in size. The seasonings are complex and full of tastiness on the palate. The toast is aptly buttered and blissful with the egg yolk. The line cook nailed the over-medium eggs this morning, as they were perfect. Well done, Sir and/or Madam! It was all I could do to stop eating the chopped steak and eggs as they were that good, but I was here for a job. Looking again at the pictures, you can see how laden with sausage that gravy is. The gravy was outstanding. I would put that up against anyone's Me-maw and let the chips fall where they may. While the gravy was top-notch, the biscuit was not so much. It wasn't bad, just not on par with the rest. The Big Boy says, "This is some great grub at a great price. Highly recommend.
