Artichoke and Spinach sautéed in EVOO and garlic

Prego! Delicious FRESH Italian food that you will crave the next day. Tomato sauce is authentic- garlicky, not canned, fresh basil that they grow in the window of the kitchen. We got mussels, artichoke and sautéed spinach that was DIVINE, and buratta salad. Pellegrino sparkling water with lime lemon. Cozy seating and AMAZING customer service. I also had the grilled branzino that was de-boned tableside. Half a lemon and fresh EVOO to drizzle on top. I absolutely love this gem. This is a great family place, date night spot, celebration spot. I really like this restaurant- they made me penne with vodka sauce. I can't wait to come back!!!

Stopped in on the way to the airport as we were in town for business. The place was empty during the lunch hours so it made me a little nervous at first. Guessing this is busy during dinner. Greeted and served by what appeared to be the owner. He was very nice, provided recommendations and very proud of their restaurant(in a good way). For apps had the burrata and garlic bread. It was all really good and the meal was served with hot fresh bread. I had the salmon which had a nice flaky crust and seasoning. The veggies were likely tossed likely in olive oil and cooked perfectly. This is a place I would go out of my way to eat again.

Hidden gem!!! I am local to the restaurant and have been coming here for years with family. Not enough people know about this place. If you're looking for authentic Italian, this is a place to be. Everything is very fresh and super delicious. I have tried countless things off the menu and everything is so delicious every time. From the moment you walk in, you'll feel like you're in little Italy. With table cloth and all the tables, you will have an elevated experience. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy dinner outside! Pro tip: Save the bread to dip in the sauces or mop up the plate!

A cozy local Italian restaurant that's been around a while. The food is really good. We sat outside on this most recent trip. Penne Vodka with Crab is probably their best dish. We also had the Cafe Portobello Pasta which is Fettucine, mushrooms (very fresh), and chicken, with Alfredo sauce. You get a basket of rolls before your entrees come out. I ordered a Diet Coke that had little to no carbonation. Other than that, it was a pleasant evening.

    Veal Parmigiana "light sauce"

$8 corkage fee to unscrew a bottle of wine which when poured was spilled on the table. While tables around us had their glasses topped off...we did not! Although that was minimum compared to the actual meal itself... Ordered special appetizer Burrata with tomato- Fried Calamari as starters very clearly told the "waiter" DO NOT BRING them out together...they came out together... Calamari was borderline raw...ZERO salt and pepper and white...not slightly brown...or crispy like it should be. After that was cleared the $18 burrata with unripe tomatoes followed... my fault for ordering tomatoes in late November...their fault for having on the menu... So time for dinner! Ordered the Veal Parmigiana once again very clearly and politely asked for light sauce!! Did not happen and the veal itself tasted rancid with once again no salt or pepper....(even a fry cook at McDonald's knows the importance of seasoning food out of the fryer) so when some other "waiter" asked if I wanted a box I told him no and said there was way to much sauce on it...his response was "all you people around here like lots of sauce"... I DO NOT!!! I guess the really sad part there was an older couple sitting next to us, and the waiter said OK I'm gonna say the specials only once...since your close... you all can hear me... unfortunately, the older gentleman did not hear the waiter and when he asked for him to repeat the specials it's seemed to be a complete annoyance...but rudely responded. Not to mention the older couple (regulars‍) were celebrating their 53rd anniversary and left very disappointed... Clueless - Rude - overpriced for the "quality"

Absolutely loved this place! Felt right at home as soon as I walked in. Both servers were so friendly. We came for my Aunt's birthday and they were so kind to her. Apps Mussels in white (loved the sauce) Eggplant rollatini special was delicious Fresh rolls on table Dipping oil was so flavorful Entree Pescatore- lots of fresh seafood and a great taste I would def come back and I highly recommend

Yum! The food here is quality. The condiments are quality and vibe with the atmosphere. Definitely a good place to enjoy good food or take someone you've been dating for awhile or maybe are really into. I went with a former friend here. I have another former friend who is vegetarian and he felt there were enough options for him. Of course, you should make sure you pick something with mushrooms in it as they don't call it "Portobello" for nothing. If you don't like mushrooms, then maybe this is not the place for you.

Beautiful outdoor seating. Table size is great and seats were comfy

This is probably our 4th visit. The service and food are consistently good once one bonds with the server. Servers are either family or longtime staff members so they know the menu, know what's fresh and will recommend based on that basis. Our outdoor table was beautiful. We had a great time and will be back when we have the time again.

This place never disappoints! I have been here a few times, and during covid and everything is amazing. I'm not sure what is better - the food or the staff!! I got the eggplant parm and it was amazing. My friends got the raviolis, lobster raviolis, and the fettuccine portobello cafe. Everything was sooo good!!! Did not disappoint. We also got appetizers- calamari, bruschetta, and mussels. Everything was perfect. The calamari was the best I've ever had. Wish I had pictures of the food but I only took a video of everyone's and then we started eating! And it's also a BYOB! They put your wine right on ice as soon as you get there. This place is affordable and a little hidden gem!! Cannot wait to go back.

Absolutely Phenomenal Meal. We have eaten at many Italian Restaurants in the area as well as Philadelphia and this place blew us away. A hidden gem. This is authentic Italian. The staff was amazing! Calamari, Salad, Peppers, Gnocci and our Specials were out of this world. We cannot wait to go back (would honestly go back the next day) BYOB and they offered to have our drinks on ice as soon as we walked in. Do not hesitate to dine here. You will be missing out.

So their Cacio E Pepe was a natural choice for me. Gnocchi is not typically my first pasta choice of texture but Luca's makes the gnocchi and sauce blend so well together . I feel like I would love this sauce on fettuccine and I would like that more but I also think it complements the texture of the gnocchi better too. The shrimp accentuates this dish . So hopefully you like shrimp. They peeled off the shells completely which was nice. The bread had tasty herbs and the salad was refreshing. The sfogliatella was crunchy with tasty custard but the winning dessert has to be the pistachio ricotta cake.. The flavor of the cake is a fun experience in one's mouth and I didn't feel it was too cheesy or too sweet etc. The ingredients are just balanced so well together for a "food harmony." Anyone reading this and seeing that made up term wants to make you give this place a try now! Everything tastes like it was made from scratch. The menu may be relatively small, but they are good at what they do. Staff was friendly and they seem to know their regulars and new people. I also might have been the only one ordering on a random Wednesday night. I believe there is a small seating area but I took out.

So to really dig into what I love most about Napoletano is the fact that it's local, has some of…read morethe most down-to-earth, friendly people running the place, should you take time to stop and have a conversation, good coffee and espresso, and hands down, one of, if not the best offering of breakfast sandwiches in Delco available, and I will defend that assessment tooth and nail. When I first stopped in here it was in a whim, and although they do have a selection of whimsical, sweet, dare I say, ridiculous and sweet coffee beverages, they were able to make me a traditional Italian macchiato. I had been unable to find a good, even passable REAL macchiato anywhere, and they delivered in spectacular fashion. Not only was the drink silky, strong, and small, it was made with outstanding Italian roasted espresso that has a different character than the standard, heavier-roasted American palate has come to be used to. This alone would have been enough for me to return time and time again when I was in the area, but after getting breakfast sandwich on a whim, this instantly became a weekly stop; more than that, a destination. Fast forward a few years and the initial attraction of coffee, sandwich, and friendly staff has transformed into a beautiful relationship where I can easily walk in, everyone knows me before I am all the way through the door, and even knowing my idiosyncrasies, are still excited to see me and listen to me prattle on about whatever might be the story of the day. The time spent here has given me the opportunity to try nearly everything on the menu and try every drink available. Including all the dry goods, pasta for sale, frozen trays of delicious Italian staples, and more. I am not one to just stick to the things I know I enjoy as I am always on a journey for something interesting and exciting, so whenever something shows up I am getting that rather than something in my "comfort zone". This has led to me traditionally losing interest or finding that the quality of a place declines for myself over time, especially multiple years. Not the case here at Napoletano, it has only done the exact opposite and gotten much more rewarding and somehow even more delicious and embracing of people and everyone who comes through the door. This brings me to my most recent food adventures into the menu here, the newest additions for the most part, the added amazing hoagie list. I have had two. The first I tried was the Gondolier, which I was enamored with for weeks. I had been there too early to order lunch time and time again, and then FINALLY, one day it was about time for lunch to be available and Michelle, the wonderful woman running the front of house and so much more, was able to get me this sandwich just a bit early. It had it all....outstanding bread, roasted red peppers, seriously premium meats, both standard deli and cured. However, something just missed the mark for me. I couldn't believe it. I don't know what and I don't know why. I was immediately disappointed, likely because I had hyped this up in my head for so long and I have come to expect so much from Napoletano, I simply couldn't believe that this wasn't the best hoagie I had ever enjoyed. That fact has eaten at me for at least a month now, but today that all changed, and is possibly why I finally found my voice to put all my thoughts together an write this after so many years. During my visit to say hello today, I realized it was once again right around the time where I could order sandwiches. I toyed with the thought of the cutlet sandwiches or even the Cuban which is amazing, but after going around and around and around talking to everyone working about this and that, I finally decided on another hoagie; the Sicilian. Kris, another of my favorite people along with Fanny (who was on vacation) helped me inch toward this one based on my description of my whole previous experience, and tbh is sandwich is so interestingly unique. Topped with lemon and orange zest, it doesn't sound like it would work, but once you take your first bite, you begin to examine your entire existence. Why have you never had a specialty Italian hoagie topped with citrus zest??? The question has been running through my head all day since lunch, and I still cannot understand why I haven't been enjoying something like this my entire life. So many years lost of amazing sandwich experiences.....this sandwich was so divine, despite looking slightly barren and strange, that it blew apart my entire disappointment I had been holding since the gondolier. I will absolutely try the other four in the list. I would have anyway, but this definitely took that mission off of life support and put it front and center. There are so many reasons to go to Napoletano. I could spend another thirty paragraphs writing about what is great about this place, the people, the drinks, the space, all of it. But instead of doing that, you should just go here. Even if you're not close, and enjoy!

I wanted to love this so much. But it was just ok. Hubby is from Philly and he was not impressed…read moreeither. Cheesesteak was ok -- big and lots of meat. No whiz and no provolone should have been our first warning sign. Cutlet was overcooked. Sausage and peppers was kinda flavorless. Ravioli was ok. Filling was not a great texture.
