Went in for my 6 month check up and had a great experience! I went to another office prior but had a really difficult time getting in for my check up so I decided to find another office. Dr. Josh's office got me in the next afternoon which was awesome. My appointment was only about an hour 45 & that included my cleaning with the hygienist Haley. My teeth feel amazing! I was able to schedule my follow up appt for a couple weeks out with low copays. Excited to return for my wisdom teeth extractions and fillings, especially since they're doing both services during the same visit :) read more

Let me start by saying how much I hate going to the dentist! I always have... until going to see Dr. Josh and his staff. I am at the end of having complete reconstruction with implants. I actually enjoy coming to this office. I never have to wait long to be taken back to my chair. LuAnn and Ashlyn make me laugh and make coming to the dentist as enjoyable as having people in your mouth can be and Dr. Josh is a knowledgeable and skilled dentist who cares about his patients and the work he does. I know I'm a handful of a patient and I give them a pretty hard time... you have to love what you do to put up with a patient like me and you have to be great at it to keep me coming back. After have this kind of great dental experience I couldn't imagine seeing another dentist other than Dr. Josh and I couldn't imagine his office without Ashlyn and LuAnn. Big Dave. He's not really a dentist. More of a really great guy who just happens to be really talented at dentistry. When Doc Powers is not running around the country lecturing other dentists on the latest techniques in mini-implants, he's making us locals feel at ease with a typically uneasy experience. And the staff (Brenda, Christin) has personality-overload. I can't quite say Powers Dentistry makes going to the dentist fun, but how about this: they make it a lot less un-fun. read more

Dr. Powers is great. Explains issues in easy to understand terms. Office staff is friendly and appointments are easy to make. Also appointments are on schedule so not much waiting. I had the best experience with Dr Josh and his staff! I am a new patient and signed up for his in-office insurance plan- and could not be happier with my visit. I was greeted by Edith and Hailey at the front desk and they were nothing but welcoming and did a great job of putting my nerves at ease. After completing my new patient forms all online in the front office (super convenient)- RDH Hailey quickly brought me back and got started on my xrays and then thoroughly explained every little thing she was going to do for my cleaning. She is so sweet and so kind and very personable- she also has excellent chairside manner (coming from a nurse, this is HUGE for me), she answered every question I asked and explained the rationale behind them, she also provided me with take home instructions and suggestions for my sensitive teeth. After Hailey performed a very thorough cleaning, and polishing of my teeth- Dr Josh came in to examine me. He is very kind and also has great chairside manner; he provided me with a few options for my treatment and explained everything in detail. I am usually very nervous and anxious at the dentist but Dr Josh and his awesome team made my "dental anxiety" a thing of the past! I can honestly say I'm so thankful that we now have a plan of action for my smile and I'm looking forward to my future visits with Dr Josh and his staff. Dr. Powers is amazing! He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. He actually took the time to fully explain the procedure to me. Luanne his assistant was wonderful too. I had a crown done with Dr. Powers, and it was absolutely painless. The entire drilling procedure only took about 10 minutes! Luanne fit me with temporary crown and was meticulous with the fit. I can't wait to go back and have the permanent crown fitted. Dr. Powers office and staff are by far the best I have ever been too. I highly recommend them to anyone needing dental work. Been looking for a new Dentist for a while, sorry I waited so long to finally decide to see Dr. Dave. He listened to my problem and gave me the option to do what I wanted... instead of working on all four front teeth, he chose the harder path with me, to replace the one 40 year old front cap, and match it up perfectly! His GLO option worked great, did it at home 28 days before cap replacement. Then after a GREAT cleaning, got the permanent cap and now I'm back to looking normal again!! Dr. Powers is the best dentist I have been to in the area. He is extremely efficient when diagnosing problems. Its hard to trust people in the industry as dentistry can be quite expensive and competitive. The staff here are so helpful and cheerful! Love coming here for any dental needs. Thry started off good. But then thry stopped caring. The receptionist had her dog in there my last trip because it had some medical issues.... But ewww. We are there with our mouths open and the air beingblown around with ac had sick dog. A dog doesn't belong in a dental office, call out sick lady. The hygienist they hired because the dentist couldn't be bothered anymore was pretty much a professional torture artist. She was even talking to some intern about how she hates when people whine about how hard she cleans teeth, then the dentist had to come out and check and she missed a bunch. I gave one star because the lady that assist the dentist (takes xrays, etc) is super nice and awesome. This is just my actual experience, you have to make your own decision. read more

I do not recommend them. I came in for a crown and a filling, at first they thought I was there for something totally different then all of sudden I needed 2 fillings despite only needing one when I came in for my checkup a couple weeks before. First my lingual nerve was hit with the needle causing my tongue to be numb and extremely uncomfortable for 6 months after, the drilling started before I was numb on the tooth needing a filling. My temp crown was fitted so horrible I couldn't bite down correctly and it caused pain. When I went to my appointment to have my permanent crown put in, the Dentist wasn't even in the office. I was told the hygienist could numb me if I wanted her to, and the Dental assistant cemented my crown herself- THIS IS A DENTIST ONLY JOB, against the law for a dental assistant to put it in. I was in so much pain for a couple days which ended up being because she left a chunk of cement jammed down between the crown and my tooth next to it. The crown is such bad quality, it looks and feels like a temporary crown. read more
