STORE 4296 should be REPORTED to UPS corporate…read more Unfortunately, this is one of the worst UPS Stores in Westlake VIllage or even from here to Downtown Los Angeles, and that's saying a lot because I go to many locations. The biggest issue is the owner, John. He is consistently rude and unprofessional, which clearly explains why so many reviews mention his poor customer service. I asked for his name and he flat out refused, saying, "I'm not telling you." That alone says everything. So immature. This location nickel and dimes customers. Unlike most UPS Stores, they do not tape boxes BUT instead SELL YOU TAPE. For a UPS Store, this feels cheap and unnecessary, especially when other locations tape boxes without issue. They also do not scan packages at the counter. You are told to go do it yourself at the kiosk. Yes they'll help but c'mon just scan a few boxes at the counter when the store is empty! When I placed my boxes on the counter, John removed all of them and put them on the floor, saying customers needed the counter space. The store was EMPTY, one of the slowest locations around because of the owners' terrible service... What makes this even more frustrating is that the younger employees are great. They are polite, helpful, and professional. If the owners stepped back and let the young people who understand service run the place, this store's reputation would improve instantly. Unfortunately, the two older men who run it, including John, are a problem. I now go out of my way to use other UPS locations. Better service, faster experience, a little more understanding customers should be provided tape, and no attitude.

Especially on this hot sunny day, it was nice to stand underneath the tree and try to cool down before running more errands. I've been here a couple of times to drop off a few packages for a rescue I volunteer for. Because I print the labels online, I use their self serve kiosk to scan in the packages then drop them off at the secure turnstile in the wall. It was easy to find parking as they have a large parking lot. I noticed they also have collection mail boxes that you can drive up to however they were locked. I wasn't sure of the reason since it was still early afternoon during business hours. That was the only downside of my current visit.

It's always nice to see her and the adorable puppy (no, I'm not talking about Jeff:) Jeff has been there thru the different owners and it's always nice to see him. I was sad that Rebecca had to go with the previous owner to Ventura.. I promised I would come on and change my previous bad review or write a new one. The previous owner tried to bully me to and even tho that super terrible guy was gone, it still lingered. But Heather deserves a clean slate and the place is sOoo much better now. I was more than happy to write this. So for anyone new and looking at previous poor reviews .... I HAD to come on about a year or so ago and write a bad review as there was an employee who was so incredibly horrible that almost every bad review references him (or employees who had to follow some really cheap rules of the owner back then) this one employee even made the other employees miserable... I dreaded coming in. You could not even say "Hello" to this guy without getting the crappiest and most inappropriate response. It was nuts. They finally let him go and Rebecca came onboard and things got better. The owner back then also made everyone's life yucky by making rules like having employees charge for silly things... like an inch of tape.... if one reads you will see the only bad reviews were about that old owner and that red headed pudgy ray of pure depression that made dark clouds afraid to congregate and cower in fear :D. sounds dramatic but so true. Heather, the new owner is incredibly nice and I truly hope she remains. I have been a yearly box holder for a couple years or so now and I have seen a couple owners. GIVE THE NEW OWNER A CHANCE How many owners put sweet notes saying Hi introducing themselves to everyone in their store? Heather does. A long time ago I batted about some ideas for the place but it never was worth bringing to that other owner... one idea to bring in people was to use some of that wall space to the left of front door as youre walking in... instead of the table on the other side with scattered business cards (does anyone really read them?) ie, a nice community board like they have at the TO Senior center next to the Library... they hand out same size card to everyone to write on and have a couple sections like rooms for rent or help wanted and help offered. etc. and its behind glass so its legit and not just scattered business cards and they clear it themselves once a month or something as it needs space. A really nice one would bring in people ? and if the area near the glass was made cozy and shaded from light you could set up a few chairs and some board games where people could check out and play like some of those boba coffee houses do. Some boardgamers groups would probably pay to be able to have a place to play if you could setup a bigger table you could charge them a few bucks for a weeknight to use the front.... the santa susana museum had a room they did that for for the Simi Boardgamers Group. Ventura County Boardgamers used to have an attorneys office 1 night a week with all the boardrooms rockin with people bringing in their games and a few snacks just off Wendy Dr. :D

Coincidentally I found myself in this shopping center doing some of my usual errands and the word postal caught my eye. I knew I had to go into the post office later in the day but when I found them I was eager to check them out. Postal junction is clearly what it sounds like - a shop to meet your mail needs, purchase supplies and shop for obvious items like stamps, cards, mailing boxes etc. I came in around lunch time and I was the only customer. A total breeze. I'm always waiting in long lines at the post office to get my refill of stamps or usually forgetting to ask for them when I'm at the few big grocery retailers who will sell you stamps. I can't tell you how much nicer it is now that I realize they are here just to stop in my for my regular stamp sleeve purchase. Being the only customer the cashier rang me up right away, was nice and I was on my way. Can't tell you how much nicer and easier this experience was now that I know I can come here to mail off some goods and buy my stamps. I'm sure all of the locals and neighbors know of this spot but if you are like me and had overlooked them, look no further because this is such a great local postal store. Easy in and easy out.

I went into Staples today to party city to purchase Numbers balloons. They had them on the wall for…read more$17 per number for helium. I asked if they had any less expensive numbers cause I needed two numbers which would've been $35 they said no and then I see on the rack there are blowup numbers that are not helium for $1.99 each number instead of $17. so I bought the dollar 1.99 numbers took them home and there's no way to blow them up. It's just garbage.... pretty upset. I now have to go back to Staples. They never should be selling these cheaper ones or they should explain that it's almost impossible to blow up.
