The doll arrived at my sister's home in perfect condition. She is delighted and I am so happy. I deeply appreciate the care and help. The doll belonged to my grandmother and is irreplaceable. I'm so glad this place is in the neighborhood. The owner Karl is super friendly efficient & remembers customers. A lot of these negative reviews were from the previous owner hence the lower Yelp rating. The price of shipping can be a shocker these days but I would never bother driving to the actual post office. I just come here since it's located conveniently in the neighborhood. My most common reason to visit is to do returns which I just leave at the front, easy peasy. I also got my passport processed here and it was very convenient especially compared to the post office or other government services which this essentially replaces for a small surcharge for convenience and friendly people. read more

Under new ownership and thriving!! Typically Yelp reviews are where people complain, it's a knee jerk reaction to a bad experience. Mind you, if they have a great experience, it is less likely they think to go write about it. (Especially about a business like this) Well I've got to tell you, to pop on Yelp after mailing a package, is not something I would think to do. But I was immediately compelled, because my experience had to be shared. I was helped by the owner Karl, he was both informative and kind. The Banker's Hill Postal Annex is the friendliest and most helpful mail service I have ever encountered - anywhere. The owner Karl and rest of the team take great care with each request I've had. Karl is always looking for the best ways to continue building and improving the business under his new ownership, it's clear his efforts are successful. Even beyond mailing services, they printed 4x6 photos I needed for work and saved me from driving all around town to figure out photo printing. They were super patient with me while I was trying to make sure the color looked correct. This place has quickly become one of my favorite neighborhood stops. I needed to renew my passport and had been putting it off. I called to see if they could help and was told yes they can help with the entire process if I just bring in my old passport book. I finally stopped in and Renata (sorry not sure of spelling) was SO kind and helpful. Walked me through every step and made the process way less painful than it sounded. This location is nice and the people inside have always been very friendly. Today however, I did not like that I wasn't told about a charge beforehand. They don't have QR code scanning capabilities for labels, so you have to email them your shipping label for them to then print for you. This is fine however it will cost you $2.22. It's not a lot but being told beforehand would have been nice because I could have printed a label elsewhere for free. Only came here to save some time. She printed my label and then told me the charge was "printing" after. read more

I was not impressed at all. First, one lady was very rude and didn't say 2 words to me so I did not feel welcome at all. If it wasn't raining, I would have walked to the UPS store. Second, they charge $2.00 just to get on the computer to send a document to the printer and $.16/page after that. I paid $3.88 to have 6 pages printed out. That's ridiculous! Charge for the paper but don't charge to hop on the computer real quick to send a document to the printer. Charge for the computer if someone needs it more that 10 minutes not less than. I walked up to the counter and the younger girl started counting the pages. I asked if I could see if I got all the pages. She ignored me. I asked again. She puts the paperwork down and tells me the price. I told her I still had to check to make sure I printed out everything. I picked up my papers and saw I still needed one more so I told her I had to get another one. I went back to the little computer on an old desk to get the other document. When I looked back, I saw the lady who didn't say 2 words to me over by my papers wiping down the counters and such. I understand that things need to be wiped down due to the Coronavirus but wait until I've removed my papers and left the area. I explained to them that the libraries closed until further notice. Obviously, that's where I would have gone. The younger girl wasn't bad but the other lady was down right rude!! She was even rude to the younger one. While preparing my documents, I heard them talking. I like how convenient it is to my home, walking distance, but I did not feel welcome and I don't like how expensive they are. I even got charged an extra $.50 to put the ridiculous amount on my card. I went in with change thinking I'd pay for 6 sheets of paper. This place will nickel and dime you so be careful. They may charge you to walk in the door too so you might want to double check that receipt. read more
