A Random side quest sent us to Post Boy. We went on vacation to Chicago and decided to roam a little. Landed on Post Boy. Very cute restaurant. We sat outside as the weather was nice. We had an excellent server. He was very attentive and made sure we understood the concept of the restaurant. (Tapas) We ordered Thai Chili Wings (Really good) they were sauced but still perfectly crispy. Not spicy at all. Had a different flavor profile but in a good way. Fries( not pictured) But they were good. Skewers were great and had a mango chutney. Dessert: tangerine/coconut (I think) very very good. Wished there were more 0 proof options on the menu. Would definitely stop by this spot for lunch if ever in the area again.

Outstanding! Laid back and fun. The food was amazing! Our group of six adults and a child shared a number of dishes for lunch and tried some very fun cocktails. Service was terrific and friendly. We really enjoyed it--they definitely deserved James Beard nomination. Oh--the patio was gorgeous and fun but we were there on a high heat day.

As one of the items on the menu for my three day birthday weekend... we needed to stop at Post Boy. I didn't know much about it. I'm glad we came! The patio was perfect! The Halibut Al Pastor and Som Tum was our favorite. I've never experienced anything like it:) The Roti tasted hot, fresh, and perfect for dipping and scooping up the tasty goodies. Our server, Kasey was amazing! She was attentive and helped us deciding on our dishes and drinks:) Check out the Post Boy swag truck out on the patio.

Wonderful spot in downtown New Buffalo. Great outdoor area perfect for happy hour! Pro Tip: snag a seat near the fire pit, perfect when the sun goes down!

Such a cute lunch spot in downtown new Buffalo. The food was fresh and portions perfect. I opted for the Ceasar salad with chicken and it was delicious. Not shown are the fries with aoili which were seasoned to perfection.

Inside and outside is cute. the service was good. The food was good as well. The fries are delicious especially the dipping sauce. We got a fried chicken sandwich. It was good. a tiny bit crispy, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. The menu is a little small and everything is à la carte. we will come back to try the salads.

Really unique food! I can't even describe the French onion dip which was amazing! They have been in business for a year. They change their menu seasonally. Every staff member was friendly. Comfortable environment and large outdoor patio.

Super cool and modern atmosphere. Food was unique and clearly scratch-made. Short rib was probably the best I've ever had and the chicken sando was also a solid pick.

Cute trendy spot opened by 2 Chicago-area restauranteurs! The menu is just the right size, you feel like you have options without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of items on the menu. They have a full bar so even though the Bloody Mary wasn't on the menu, we had one and it was delish. There were 2 of us so we ordered the items to share, details on items below: -Trout tostada: this was our favorite item we tried. It comes with one tostada but the flavors and fresh herbs were impressive - it had the right amount of spice where you felt it but didn't leave your mouth burning. So fresh and will be thinking about it for awhile -Caesar: relatively standard Caesar with cheese it crumbs, the lettuce was fresh and crispy. We really enjoyed this! -Chicken thighs: this was a BBQ chicken with Indian flavor twist and comes with a couple paratha and a yogurt sauce. Really enjoyed this! We came in right when they opened at noon on a Sunday so service was good and attentive. Overall, really pleased with the food. It was a little pricey for what we got but when you're vacationing, a must stop in New Buffalo!

Not only is this Restaurant Amazing but, they also provide excellent Breakfast Items for the Coffee Place that has DELICIOUS COFFEE!!!

What a cute spot in downtown New Buffalo! We went to celebrate a birthday and enjoyed the robust selection of tapas to try a lot of different menu items. There are some large plates if your party prefers to not share as well. One of my favorite things on their menu was a pretty decent selection of non-alcoholic drinks. They had NA beers, mocktails, and no spirit spirits. My husband ordered a phony Negroni and it was absolutely incredible. In terms of food, we loved everything we ordered. The corn dog, BBQ carrots, scallops (omg amazing), and the bang bang shrimp were all hits.

The guacamole was also first rate! The entrees not so much. Our paellas' were far too salty but still passable. The beef tacos were also quite good. Staff were helpful but couldn't overcome the kitchen and bar issues. Also an inviting; old school type dining area that harkens back to kinder/gentler times. For my main dish, I ordered the skirt steak tacos with coconut rice on the side. I love coconut and I love rice. Who knew they go together so well! The skirt steak was cooked perfectly. The menu is eclectic from a chef that creates dishes from scratch - an approach often misrepresented in today's restaurant world. We had the house-made teriyaki vegetables with chicken stir fry which was excellent with lots of vegetables and accented nicely with the sauce - not drowning, nor too sweet and sticky. The hummus plate was really nice, with homemade pickles and pickled turnips, which we loved but simply could not identify until the server solved the riddle. Olives were nice and the 2-types of hummus worked well. Pita bread was a overdone but I'm quibbling. Moving on to the oddest of menu items was gyros and fries - just like you get in Chicago. How good could gyros be? Pretty darn good with nice crispy edges. Cocktails are inventive and the beer list is really solid with imports that you may not expect. Someone knows their beer there. We waited a while for the food but the waitress set expectations early, noting that the kitchen was a bit shorthanded that evening. A little communication goes a long way, and that's just good service. It's a little restaurant that is trying hard and mixing it up. I give them a ton of credit for putting a diverse menu out there for just about anyone and mastering all of it. Can not wait to go back and try something new next time.
