We would always make the trek from the valley to get here. I love that they overflow their servings and that exceeded my expectations the first time we tried this. We always get the mega size and with that we will order 2-3 flavors and pass it around. I love getting the bbq, cheddar, sour cream and garlic parmesan. It's so addictive and you don't need any ketchup for dipping, Promise! The only downside is when this place gets packed, people didn't have the courtesy to step aside and wait on the sideline instead, they loiter around the pickup counter and people getting their orders could not get past through them. I've been meaning to try this place forever. I always noticed the amazing aromas of fried potatoes as I walk by to Starbucks. The positives: line was short and each order is fried individually with many topping choices. The downside is the fries came out lukewarm. Not sure how that is possible when it can straight from the fryer. The cheddar did have nice flavor and added to the sweet potatoes, but it was overall just okay. I was craving fries when I found this place on Yelp. A place dedicated to fries?! Yes please!! I thought this was an actual restaurant, until I stumbled upon the kiosk in the mall. This kiosk is on the 1st floor, located directly across from the Lego store inside of the Westfield Valley Fair mall. There were so many flavor / fry combinations it was borderline overwhelming. We were happy to find out that you can split the largest size, which is Giga. Considering how the Small is "Jumbo" and the Medium is "Mega", it can be somewhat confusing when trying to decide on a size because the names of the sizes all imply "big". What we ordered: - Giga with Original fries: 1/2 Sour Cream & Onion, and 1/2 Garlic & Parmesan - Giga with Loopy (curly) fries: 1/2 BBQ, and 1/2 Cheddar I wanted a Lemonade so we asked if that could be a part of the Giga "Fries Combo" to save a few dollars and the girl cashier said yes. However, she mistakenly charged us a few dollars extra as she added on the cost of a lemonade by mistake instead of making it part of the combo. My bf caught this mistake when we got the receipt, but I didn't say anything to the cashier because there was a line forming. Oh well. These fries are made to order, meaning you should prepare to wait around for a bit while they dump frozen fries into an oven, wait for it to cook, and then shake it around in flavored spices before they serve it to you. When we got the fries they smelled delicious! I had a hard time distinguishing the taste of the Sour Cream & Onion vs. the Garlic & Parmesan, but they were both fairly good so I was happy. My bf and I didn't care much for the BBQ or Cheddar flavors. Side note: Because this is a kiosk, you have no choice but to take your food to go. There's hardly any seating around the kiosk area, so I recommend going up to the 2nd floor and sitting in the food court area. Would I come back here? Probably not. Perhaps if I was already in the mall shopping for other things and had a sudden fry craving that no other restaurant in the mall could satisfy. Overall, this place is relatively pricey (we spent almost $20 on 2 Giga fries + a lemonade), has lackluster flavors, and has a long wait which all serve as deterrents for coming back. Still, I'm giving it 3 stars because I didn't absolutely hate it. It was decent, but nothing to get excited over and make me want to start planning my next return. Potatoes, potatoes, and even more potatoes! What's not to love? Definitely my top mall food stop! I wish they had more locations since Valley Fair is quite a far drive for me. Like with any other food places at the mall, they can be very hit or miss depending on who is serving you, but this location has yet to let me down. My favorite thing to order here is the tater tot! They are extremely delicious and crispy. It's hard to find a place that offers tater tots and cooks it well. Potato corner offers a variety of flavors to cater to just about anyone! My favorite flavors are the BBQ and sour cream and onion. Imagine the flavor of your favorite potato chip on your favorite type of potato. Be sure to ask for light seasoning! Sometimes the seasoning can be extremely overwhelming if it's just the regular amount. read more

Chili BBQ is the recommendation for flavoring, absolutely spicy and flavorful. If you're not a fan of spicy, I suggest the BBQ or Sour Cream and Onion flavor. The product is okay. I did like that the sizes were very generous and the flavors were good. I had the curly fries - half chili BBQ (spicy) and half sour cream (really good). The price is a little much, but it's the mall, so it's expected. They are served hot and delicious, and they don't take long to come out. The one huge thing that turned me off was the fact that there were bags of the potato product laying about on the counter, and the entire area they were working in was unkempt. It also bothered me that two of the employees had long hair and didn't tie them up. I didn't notice this until I paid already. So whenever my hubby and I are walking around the mall and a craving for something SUPER UNHEALTHY hits, we stop by Potato Corner to indulge in a delicious guilty pleasure. Normally, my hubby and I go for their tater tots which are always cooked perfectly. Crispy yet soft on the inside, its hard to stop eating once you try one. Four out of five times we don't get it with any flavoring, but recently we got them with sour cream and onion. I was skeptical that it may taste powdery, but surprisingly with just rigorous shaking in that flavor-tub, it tasted as if the sour cream and onion were cooked right in. Potato Corner does have a five rewards system, but we don't eat there nearly frequent enough to benefit, but they do send out specific rewards every now and then. The one thing that I really dislike about this Potato Corner is the slow service. It takes two minutes to cook each order and that doesn't even include the long line of people you have to wait behind before you can put your order in. On top of that, it is located right next to the indoor playground, the Disney store, and the Lego store, which means lots of kids, lots of noise, and lots of crazy. But if you can channel your temple of inner peace, you are going to enjoy some pretty delicious fried potatoes, whether it's fries, tater tots, or chips. Each batch is made fresh-to-order; a bit of a wait, but so worth friggin' worth it. My fries were light and crispy with no limp sticks drenched in oil. However, as much as I enjoyed the freshness of the fries, the sour cream and onion flavor (from a seasoning powder) was not as flavorful as I felt it could've been if only they kicked the intensity up a notch. (2.99) They also two other sizes, which are the Mega and the Giga. Staff is helpful, they helped me with my order and answered my questions I had for the menu. They also have a variety of style of potatoes ranging from loopy, tater tots, Jo Jo chips, chili cheese fries, and sweet potatoes. For my 'style' of fries, I went with the original. Keeping it simple. Many flavors are listed in the menu, which are: BBQ, Chili BBQ, Cinnamon and Sugar, Garlic & Parmesan, Cheddar, Sour Cream & Onion. I got the sour cream & onion. I believe it was made to order, because it took a while to get my fries. I waited at least 5 minutes. Not a big deal. They tossed the fries in a plastic container that had your flavor of choice and soon enough, my order was called. Fries were hot and smelled good! The powder that they use smelled great on them. I took my first bite and immediately noticed they were salty. As I kept eating them, the amount of salt on them made me get a large cup of water. The sodium levels were through the roof. The fries were crunchy and tasty, but the salt level mildly masked the Sour Cream and Onion flavor. I was disappointed. All in all, I expected a lot from this place. I usually pick between the garlic parmesan and the sour cream n' onion, but ever since finding out that you can mix any flavors together.. Oh man it was a match made in fries heaven! Tip: This location packs on the seasoning so be ready for that. If you only like it with a hint of flavor then the Oakridge location is better suited for you. As for flavors, there were only 5 or 6. We thought there would be more. Prices were kinda steep. $3 for the "jumbo" that's definitely NOT jumbo. Wait For Food: After we paid, they said it would be a 5-10 minute wait which seems pretty long just for seasoned fries. We waited almost 20 MINUTES! Ketchup was provided but I usually get ranch but when I asked for Ranch, they said it's $0.38 which was disappointing. The smell of frying oil and fries whiffing up to the second floor of the mall gravitates you towards this tiny little stand located in front of the Lego store! They have different type of fries and different seasonings that you can combine to satisfy your craving. I love curly fries and so I got that paired with chili bbq seasoning. They also have different sizes and it goes from jumbo to mega to giga. I got the mega to share because I didn't want too much and it was perfect! They give a decent amount of fries so no need to be greedy unless you really do want that much fries. I LOVED the chili bbq seasoning! It was sweet from the bbq and it had a hint of spicy. It was a great combination of sweet and savory so my taste buds were happy! The fries itself was pretty good but they're just fries you can get anywhere. They use frozen fries and just fry it up so it's not fresh, but still good nonetheless. They are a bit pricey for just fries but you're paying for the seasoning. They also have chips if you wanted that instead of fries. I didn't pay too much attention but they did have other side items other than potato. What a great corner of potato goodness. The GF & I could smell the aroma when we first stepped foot in Valley Fair. We were lured in by a sample and sold when we tasted their fries. We chose to get the small sized Garlic Parm. and their recommended, Chili BBQ. As soon as we ordered, there was a a rapidly growing line. Service: Spot on, friendly bunch who work very efficiently. They have two magical deep frying machines which can take two batches at a time. Each batch taking approximately 3 minutes. As soon as the potatoes are done, they are drained and tossed in the flavoring of your choice. Food: Both flavors were bomb.com. I highly recommend trying both out, and you can do so by splitting your order in half. Both flavors weren't super overpowering, very balanced. Not heavy on the salt either, in fact I could have used a bit more salt, which they provide as well. This is a great affordable snack that won't break the bank, starting at $2.99 for a small. If there is something they could work on, I wish that the fries were a bit hotter, and I wish the fries were a bit more 'fresh'. I felt like the fries were never really hot coming out of the fryer. I was very displeased with the workers I encountered today. The guy making my fries dropped more than half of my fries on the floor without saying sorry or saying I'll make you a new one. Instead I had to the rude lady wearing glasses if I could get my money back. She rudely said, we'll make you a new batch. Aside from the poor customer service, the inside was completely messy and the workers were eating while working. Unprofessional and disgusting in my opinion.
