Gahh I wish I didn't like this place. The fries are kinda pricey but tastes good. I got the sweet potato fries with sour cream and onion.. I love sour cream and onion flavored anything so that was a bonus. The fries were crispy and sweet and so good. I got the medium sized one and it was like over $5. Pretty disappointed going this time around. I always go to this location and they never disappoint. But this time I went the customer service was just unacceptable. There was a line but I was willing to wait because the lines usually go by fast. It was taking longer than usual so I went to check what the hold up was and there was no one at the register taking customers orders. There were four employees working so I'm not sure if they were understaffed or if there wasn't a person in charge, whatever the case was the case there should've been someone to help down at the register. So I go order and there's no problem and I realize that the order he put in was wrong on the receipt. So I told him I wanted a mega size instead of the giga (which he charged me for). He tried to refund it but to no avail he said "he doesn't know why it's not working" he couldn't fix it so he offered a drink but I didn't want it so I just settled for the giga size. He didn't even ask for help or how to do it so I was just confused on why he couldn't give me the refund and ring it up for the size I wanted. Then we were waiting for our order and that took the longest. The employees making our food we're working as if they weren't busy, working slowly and gossiping about whatever. Place was closed for 2 years just to be reopened with the Jumbo size removed and nothing new on the menu. Even with a short line, the actual food takes nearly 30 minutes to come out due to how incompetent and inefficient the staff are. Space is cramped and unorganized. Potato corner is a booth tucked away in Westfield Valley Fair. It took me a good minute to find it, but it's right by the Disney store if you're looking at the directory. You can mix and match your seasoning and order a la cart or make it a combo meal - you can get a side of chicken with your potatoes. I ordered the combo meal: mega (medium) original fries with chili BBQ and sour cream and onion seasoning and chicken poppers (comes in 7 pieces) with ranch dip and a medium drink. The fries were made fresh and came out super crispy and hot. I love how generous they are with their portions and seasoning. The chicken also did not disappoint -- it was surprisingly meaty, crispy and tender. Such a great corner to grab a quick snack on the go. If only there were more Potato Corner's around. They seemed to have a lot of workers in that small space for a weekend and luckily for us there was no line. However we still had to wait for them to fry the fries before serving, that took a few minutes. My friend and I each got our own order of the mega sized regular fries. It seems like a lot of fries at first but the paper is actually wrapped in a cone so not all of the cup is filled with fries, just a note. I got kind of tired with my flavor like almost a third through so I'm glad my friend had his to share. The sour and cream and onion was good and more on the sweet side. Garlic parme was similar but saltier. They complimented each other well. I'd get the fries to share with someone tbh unless you're really craving potato chips or something. I finally understand why Potato Corner is so popular!! It definitely satisfies my craving for fries and wings. I first tried Potato Corner about two months ago, and the girl cashier ( I think her name started with a J) really helped me out. She was soo nice and friendly. She even let me try samples and guided me through the ordering process. I got the cheddar and bbq mix based off her recommendation and it has become my go to order!! They were fresh, very crispy, and well seasoned. I also got the chicken wings and they were THE BEST!! Not dry at all and so crispy. They give really big portions for the price you pay and it's very filling!! Now I go to Potato Corner every time I come to Valley Fair. Each time I come here I'm always met with great customer service, especially from the same girl cashier (pictured in the black shirt). She's very outgoing, and really seems like she enjoys being there. She's hardworking, works fast, and always greets customers with a smile even when its busy!! I noticed she also makes sure that the customers waiting for their food aren't blocking the front of the Lego store which is important so they're not blocking the way! I was extremely disappointed your staff and my order. I ordered 2 giga sized fries, with half parmesan cheese and half spicy bbq in 1 container but i just received 1 of each. The staff was extremely rude and told me they were out of spicy bbq but I saw they had spicy bbq. I received my order and this was not giga size and the topping was just dumped on top of the fries. This was probably a third of giga size and did not come in a giga size container. The 3 staff members were extremely free and just wanted to talk to each other rather than take orders. They male worker gave me extreme attitude and just threw my food on the counter. It's cause they fry the fries right when you start ordering and then they have to mix the flavor. My sister said it was less flavorful, but I think the seasoning was just right. First of all, the food quality is hellaaaa bomb! I ordered the regular fries with BBQ & cheddar mixed. I usually get just BBQ flavor but I wanted to try something else so I asked this filipino worker what was her favorite and so she recommended me that mixed flavor. She was so helpful, she even gave me a sample to see if I liked the mixed flavor. She is very knowledgable and passionate about her job. The person that cooked my fries was, I believed their manager since she's the only one that was wearing a blackshirt. She cooked the fries fresh and crispy. Been here twice and even though the fries are so yummy there's the things that make me only wanna give 2 stars. Management: how could you have only one teenage girl running the show? Was there on 12/09/23 an hour after opening time and there was one young girl taking and making orders. She was so kind and patient, I sure do hope she got lots of tips for her dedication and I'm glad everyone in line was so patient with her and not giving her a hard time. I give her 5 stars but since I'm rating this as a whole business I'll stick with the 2 stars. As a manager/owner, if you know you don't have staffing, you need to roll up your sleeves and put in some work. Sick calls happen, but if you care about your business you should be there busting your behind right along with your employees. Another reason for the low rating is a while back I had visited and there was another young lady behind the counter preparing orders and with the same gloved hands she as preparing orders with, she was snacking in between the orders shoving her fingers in her mouth.
