Clean and accessible, and friendly and helpful staff. Great food and menu variety -- healthy and tasty options, and feels like home cooked stuff. Prices are comparable to other soup and sandwich and dessert type places. Portions are also comparable. The taste is healthy and delicious.

I have been to this location just a few times. Can't remember what I ordered on past visits, but on my most recent visit, I did an online order so I could do a pickup of my meal. I ordered a Meatball Sub, an Oreo Shake and a Lemon Cheesecake Cookie (we all have 1 cheat day and this was mine). I was surprised when the total came up to around $11 because in the Rockville Town Square area a meal can cost you around that or more (no drink or dessert included). There are exceptions to this and this spot seems to be one of them. When I went to pick up my order, I had to wait a few minutes, but then again they were still in the window of getting my order ready. When I received everything I first checked my bag before leaving the store (something one must always do when ordering to go). On my way out I was told to check my receipt for a $3 off sandwich/salad - I might actually use it although it is only good in person and I'll have to use it within the next 2 days as it does expire. Once I got settled, my sub was warm and toasted which I really enjoyed; my shake was delicious, but not heavy and the cookie...well that didn't last very long. They have something called Potbelly Perks which I will look into more as it saved me some dollars on my meal today (paid less than my $11 total). I might actually come back to this spot and try some more things (we'll see). Note: Their Lemon Cheesecake Cookie is limited and I see why - I finished mine as I wrote this review (yes I enjoyed it).

No cheese just cardboard tasting bread

Grilled cheese is like cardboard BreAd not tasty not what we were expecting Hope they can do better

I ordered a chicken salad and a double chicken salad... and was sent one salad with chicken and another with no meat at all (and the receipt clearly said double). This would have been fine but both salads came with a small bowl of soup and cost ~$18 a piece... so I ended up paying $40 for two salads and one was missing a topping.

mmmM the Wreck! I probably shouldn't be giving it a 5 star rating because it's just a sandwich... but oh well. I like it! Apparently the wreck is what all the guys get... Girls catch on to that trend... haha, the description for it just sounds so good! I posted a picture, it's just a regular size-- they have a bigger one. I highly recommend it! I've been getting it for years... No need to try the other ones when you've got a winner! The girls always get the turkey sandwich, I guess that's good too. And they have the Orange-Mango Nantucket Nectar drink I love so much! There's a nice set up inside, it's like a cozy set up with and old look type ambiance. There are like classic long neck coke bottles, old books and shelves, antique looking furniture, lamps at the booths. It's pretty nice for a sandwich shop. Sometimes they have a live musician playing.

Chill, local spot for sandwiches and the best onion rings!…read more We went here for lunch after raving recommendations from friends and family. I'm glad we did since it delivered as promised! This place has a vast selection of sandwiches, all served with a side of pickle and housemade chips. Our starters included the tomato soup and onion rings, which were served pretty quickly after our waiter took our order. The onion rings were so crispy and flavorful - the best I've ever tried in the area! Our sandwich orders came out after that, which included the My Thai, Chipotle BBQ beef, and Reuben. Sandwiches were very hefty and quite filling, and I had plenty to take home for leftovers. I would definitely return again for their onion rings and to try another sandwich!

It's a great sandwich. My partner got the Le Pilgrim - Thanksgiving in a sandwich. Absolutely great. We both agree the chips that accompany the sandwiches are fantastic. We took most of the chips home for later. The service was very good. We were greeted and sat outdoors. Our server was very pleasant and enthusiastic. Will definitely be back. Lots of interesting sandwiches on the menu.

We got takeout for lunch yesterday…read more My partner got a turkey sandwich, which was well-stuffed on a very fresh bread. They got it with lettuce, tomato and onion and were well pleased. Although they commented that a pickle slice/wedge accompanying the sandwich would have been nice, since the place is a deli. I got Emma's Protein Bowl, which was a large bowl with Kale, Brown Rice/Quinoa Blend, Falafel, Edamame, Chickpeas, Corn, Cucumber, Grape Tomatoes, Avocado, Black Lentils, Kalamata Olives, and Hummus. I got the Italian dressing on the side. The salad and dressing were good. The kale was crisp and flavorful and the veggies and other ingredients were fresh. The falafel was the one disappointment. The Bowl comes with three falafel balls. Each was hard and dry. There was flavor in there, but the toughness and dryness masked it. I ended up throwing one of the three balls away. Ugh. I gave Bean Bag 5 stars for our first visit and am not going to change the score because of the falafel. I thought about it, but everything else was very good. The Staff were friendly both times we visited.

Parking in the plaza was free. After finding a spot, I walked in and looked at the many choices they had to offer. As I was trying to figure out what to get, the great customer service I got from that point onward was 12 out of 10. I settled on one of their signature sandwiches and got it on a wheat roll since I am not a fan of rye bread. It was called the "Miami Beach Special". Menu describes it as having corned beef, pastrami, and coleslaw with Russian dressing, lettuce and tomato. I settled on the Beanie size and that was still big, but I enjoyed every bit of it. I was informed that everything was made fresh and I liked that. I also got a cup of chicken noodle soup (yum) and a Snickerdoodle cookie. I heard their cookies are great so I couldn't leave without getting one. I sat at one of their tables indoors and enjoyed my meal. I would visit again. There are so many options to choose from.

I really liked that the condiments came separately so each guest could schmeer as much or as little as they wanted. (Or in my case, purist that I am, avoid altogether). There was also a bountiful assortment of pickles, so necessary for rounding out the sandwich with a nice acidic snap! I recommend.

We were seated immediately and had water brought to our table. Menu was extensive, with overstuffed sandwich classics like Reubens and clubs, salads and classic fare like knishes and lox. They also serve breakfast all day. I had the grilled veggie wrap. It came with homestyle potato chips. My companion had a tuna melt (solid albacore) with pepper jack cheese on an English muffin (also with chips). Both portions were huge. The veggies were still crunchy but cooked thoroughly (zucchini, squash, peopers and onions) with red pepper hummus stuffed in a huge burrito style spinach tortilla. Comfort food done well. As a bonus there was a pickle bar of half sour, full sour pickles, cornichons, sauerkraut and pickled peppers. Favorites were the half sour pickles and sauerkraut (went well with the wrap). Great meal!

It is a cute restaurant located off of Boiling Brooke Parkway in Rockville, Maryland. The inside is decorated with warm woods and shelves and freezers filled with Italian frozen entrees, desserts, and sauces. As you walk up to the counter, you are warmly welcomed. I ordered the Italian cold cut sub and the meatball sub. They have a huge assortment of chips. I am really regretting not picking up a package of my favorite chips. Next time... Service was great. The gentleman who waited on me couldn't have been nicer. It took about 5 minutes for my food to be ready and I was out the door. I want to echo other reviewers, when I say there are no tables or chairs for eating. This is strictly order your food and take it with you. My meatball sub was delicious. It was packed with large portions of meatballs, that were roasted in a tasty marinara sauce. The roll was fresh and soft. I highly recommend this sub. The Italian sub was good, but it was crying out for a little lettuce and tomato. I know that they offer the sub with a green sauce, but I found the taste of the sauce oily and too parsley heavy. I was really glad I had it put on the side. Other than that, the Italian meats were tasty and the sub roll fresh and tender. Prices were reasonable, it was about $20 for both subs. I will definitely return to get some homemade pasta and that tiramisu that was tempting me in the fridge. Gratzi,Vignola Gourmet.

They also have a small grocery section with imported Italian goods (canned clams, tomatoes, olive oils, cookies, etc) and frozen premade goodies like sauces, lasagnas, Italian sausage, pizza dough, and even ice cream. We ordered a hot porchetta sub, cold cut sub, and homemade pappardelle with pesto cream sauce. The owner helped us choose a "soft" sub roll for the porchetta and a "hard" Italian baguette for the cold cut sub. The food was all very tasty and felt like we traveled to a simpler time where ingredients shine for themselves. The porchetta was tender and flavorful, and together with the soft roll, kind of reminded me of a Taiwanese gua bao or Cantonese charsiu bao. It was incredible and smelled so delicious! The cold cut sub was simple and well balanced, and good with the harder baguette. Lastly, the handmade pappardelle was delightfully chewy and reminded me of Chinese hand pulled noodles. Didn't expect to have such parallels with Chinese food- and I enjoyed reflecting on how different cultures can come to have similar tastes and values. Next time we'll have to try their desserts and more of their menu! Can't wait to come back. Go check out this gem in Rockville, and experience a taste of Italy!
