    Grilled chicken sandwich
    Brittney H.

Fast and delicious! This was our first time here and overall we loved it and will be back! The chicken sandwich was ok, I personally am very picky when it comes to chicken, and this chicken was not very good. I will not order it again, but definitely will try more things because the bread and cheese were great! My husband ordered the pizza sandwich, and it was sooo good! The pepperoni and sausage were perfect and a little spicy.

This was my first time at Potbelly. The restaurant kinds of works like subway. You decide what kind of sandwich you want and then you let them know what kinds of toppings you want. I got "A Wreck". That was the name of the sandwich. It was loaded, and I loved every minute of it. Very tasty and filling. I also had a side of backed potato soup! Also a really good choice. I don't really have any bad complaints about this place, but it was really good.

Loved the two ladies taking care of us today, the environment was warm and charming. My food tasted delicious, it was my first time and now I'm hooked!

Mediterranean Sandwich with hot peppers, lettuce and onion

We stopped in for a quick lunch today as we were running our Sunday errands. Ambiance: This place, like every Potbelly restaurant I've been to, was clean on the inside with a very casual feel. Food: I had the Mediterranean Sandwich and added lettuce, onions and hot peppers. Mav had the Roast Beef Sandwich with lettuce, onions, mustard and mayo. The food was very good; warm, toasty and fresh at the same time. Service: There were 3 people in front of us today and the line moved pretty quickly. We hadn't been to a Potbelly in a while but would gladly come back. Warm, fresh sandwiches at a very reasonable price with options for everyone.

Double decker.. All 3 cookies.. He was nice to suggest it

They gave me and another family the wrong orders only to be discovered after I got home. When I went back, so did the other family. The manager tried to give me the food that they took home. The resturant resembles Germany in 1945. Food all over the floor, and generally a disaster. Meanwhile there are 2 people cooking, one working the drive through window...and 3 kids standing around. Busy? Nope, 3 people inside and 1 car in the drive through. Always this location...so bad since it opened. Too bad too, because food is good and id like to eat here more...

A 20-cent increase in price for onion rings. My husband had a Freddy Original double with tater tots. The burgers seemed to be larger this time not sure why. This not a complaint just an observation. The burgers were hot made to order. Rings and tots as will were also hot. Great burgers with good flavor. The smashed hamburger patty with crispy edges is a great touch. Service was fine nice inside plenty of seating. With a good drink station. You can also get frozen custard maybe one day. I'm always to full after I eat the burgers.

Portillo's is typically a hit or miss with us here…read more Depending on what you get will actually determine how you like the food. We always get the [Jumbo] Hot dog, which is not as big as you'd expect, but it's tasty. We enjoyed eating the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog, Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, and the Char-Grilled Polish Sausage. These are all the hot dogs we typically order. We're not fans of the Italian Beef Sandwich nor the Big Beef Sandwich; they typically have a lot of gravy in them. The Char-Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich wasn't worth it. If you side the gravy and don't add peppers (an extra charge), you'd literally just get the bread and the sausage. The fries and onion rings are usually mediocre, but it's good served as a meal. On the other hand, the staff has always been kind, both in-house and drive-thru. The place has never been too crowded.

It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.

Aside from that aspect the actual taste of the Caesar salad was good. 3/5 My daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich, she wasn't a fan because of that. The fries are basic, some were crunchy with a soft inside and some were very hard. 2/5 I am not sure we will return as the food is basic for an expensive price. I would suggest they at least offer some type of combo option to include a side and drink.
