I live in a multi unit building so most exterminators would not even service the unit, since our roach issue can be traced to another unit, however John offered to help by putting powder in the walls to insulate our unit from pests. I cannot recommend Potomac Pest and John enough! I had some nasty nocturnal critters in my attic that were making so much noise that I was kept up all night for days on end. I reached out to several exterminators for support, and the responses I received were wild. One guy told me that he's charged $80,000 for his most expensive job of the type that I described. Hard pass on him. Others wanted a lot of money to conduct an inspection, even more to actually do anything, and then weeks to schedule the initial visit. Given that I looked and felt like a zombie due to the lack of sleep, that was a no-go. Enter Potomac Pest. John was more than accommodating. He quoted a more than fair price for the inspection and any work; scheduled a visit as soon as possible; and even made a few visits back to make sure that the problem was taken care of. The best part? I no longer have raccoons sneaking into my attic and having midnight raves, so I can FINALLY sleep through the night again! I cannot recommend this company enough!! We had a pest problem that was unexplainable and completely anxiety provoking for me. I was extremely hesitant to use chemicals in my house as I have two young kids. I was assured that the minimum amount of chemicals would be used and that there would be a 60 day guarantee that the pests would not return. We ended up needing two treatments so far and every time was with short notice. John was able to fit us in his schedule with as little as 24 hour notice and showed up to my house exactly on time. As for keeping my kids safe-- John personally opened all the windows in our house, turned on the ceiling fans, and even found a spare fan in a different room and brought it to my toddlers' room to add extra ventilation without being asked. I have anxiously called or texted John about the pest problem more times than I'd like to admit (my anxiety has definitely gotten the best of me!) and every time he answered my questions with care while assuring me that the problem is going to be fixed and no damage to my kids or house would take place in the process.
