I had not had orange chicken in 13 years and I was blown away with this Orange chicken. It's fast food, not the healthiest but what a treat!!! I gave meat eaters orange chicken to try and not only they all loved it but one of them walked away telling me I was lied to by the restaurant and was convinced that it was real chicken. I was so happy to know the noodles and the fried rice are vegan so everyone who orders a combo gets Vegan fried rice or noodles or both by default. They have a one item policy for vegan combos and they have a sign. They cannot sell you a side order either. The reason is that most food is made to order but Vegan food is ALWAYS made to order and they can only make complete orders and not little by little. I bought an item ala cartel and they said yes and it comes with rice. I would suggest ordering several items ala carte if you're with a group so you can try different dishes. I absolutely love this place i tried this place hesitantly about 4 years ago and now this is my go too. I never have had any bad experiences here. The food is always juicy packed with flavor every bite is like the first bite. I hate how some places the food tastes dry or funky tasting and I don't know any good Chinese food places around Whittier. The food is always fresh and the staff are very nice. I still need to try the pho here too. I also been craving some egg drop soup but the serving they sale here is like an entree itself so I wish they had smaller portions, since they don't I pass on the soup because I can't skip out on anything else lol read more

Sooooo I thought about leaving a review the first couple times I've been to this restaurant but I kept on giving them another chance and another one. Finally it's safe to say their service is flat out TERRIBLE. Every time I have came here the customer service is just RUDE. I place an order for my food, (which takes like 30 min to be ready even if it's vegan or regular) and when I go pick up I ask for napkins & hot sauce and they try to rush you away and say it's in the bag and turn around and give you their back. IT NEVER FAILS, I get to the car and check the bag no sauce and no eating utensils not even any napkins. EVERY SINGLE TIME I KID YOU NOT. And when I went back to ask for some this last time they gave me attitude and said they couldn't give me any because there was some in the bag and they're limited. Cool let me eat with my fingers... that's was the last straw for me. I mean not only is the food MEDIOCRE at best but there's no reason I'm paying high prices to get rude customer service and a combo plate that they never even seem to fill it's space. They barley fill the combo platter and it's expensive you'd think they'd have no problem giving me what I pay for. I really tried to give this restaurant a chance but honestly regret the money I've spent here. So to anyone reading, I sincerely do not recommend. Save yourself the money there's plenty of other restaurants that would provide friendly service and great food for your buck. read more

I would like to first off say that the food here is incredible. Their vegan options are huge and everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff is also incredibly generous, patient and understanding. The bao buns and kung pao shrimp here are amazing and it tastes extremely similar to real meat. I would also like to mention that I was in the store while Tabitha was harassing another customer. She didn't not quietly ask her to pull down her skirt, she yelled at her and humiliated her infront of everyone in the store. When the girl told Tabitha to mind her business, Tabitha threatened to beat her up. Not classy at all. The store refused her service because she was being violent and threatening another customer. The customer felt so scared she called 911. This place handled the situation extremely well and I have nothing but the upmost respect for them. They even went the extra step and walked the customer out to her car since she was shaking in fear. read more

Wow, i love coming here and getting the chicken pho. Sadly i don't anymore, something's changed, maybe they fell on hard times, but i had it again today and it was gross, the noodles were so over cooked they just fell apart on my fork( haha i know chopsticks blah blah) it was so mushy. And when i first saw it, it looked nothing like what i remembered. I felt the need of making a review something I never do because whatever I get is never as bad as this. Vegan Chinese food sounds very innovative and delicious to the point of it being in my dreams however it was not delightful at all. The taste of the orange chicken tasted worse then the taste of regular orange chicken it was more like orange chicken in a bad way then I thought it was. The taste was chewy " chiquilloso" as my family would say. It tasted like chicken skin covered in sweet sauce. Not a pleasant experience. It was overpriced too! I get that it's vegan and that it takes more work but it was expensive not even the the mango lemonade and other drinks were good they were very very sour I could not even taste the mango. The chowmin was also unpleasant. It was a total money waste. We gave the rest to my dogs but not even they wanted it. Panda Express it better honestly and it's not even my go to place. read more

2/20/2020 I literally just went and ordered a green milk tea boba it's so bomb the customer service there is great and so is the food! I've been there many times and never had a problem... sometimes you have to wait a little longer when it's packed but they do a very good job on getting all the orders out.. Absolutely saddened with the service I was provided not by the workers there but by the daughter and owner of this business. I have been going here for years but at the request for plates I was told that plates are $2 for 10 or there is a dollar store. I was completely surprised at the quick answer, plates are usually available at request anywhere else, so I further explained that I have been a customer for years and we purchase large orders often, to which she replies quickly she knows me, my mom, and my moms mom very well... (clarifying how often we go) So I asked to speak to the manager and she tells us it's her. I asked her again how can she act like this moralistically and she replied "moralistically and to be fair with other customers she has to charge everyone." And he daughter chimes in "I don't have time for this." We let her know that this is upsetting and the way they were reacting to this situation is incorrect and we would not be returning. If plates are an inconvenience to give to your customers and your customer service is to be quick and rude and dismiss you customers like this it'll show in the long run. 1 less family as customers and many more to be lost. read more

Very good food! Got there not long after opening. Food was fresh and hot. Waited a few minutes for the BBQ pork and it was so worth it! Two items plate and an order of wonton soup was only around $12. I went here today and ordered the vegan entree plate for $10 a bit pricey but you get a lot of food. I got the vegan orange chicken and vegan walnut shrimp it was good both were crispy and flavorful . I'm not a full vegan so to someone who still eats meat it tastes just as good as actual chicken and shrimp you wouldn't know the difference definitely a place to try if your thinking of reducing your meat intake but wanting to still enjoy your Chinese food favorites. read more

I've been here twice and i really like it, the food isn't to greasy and it's delicious. The way they take your order is different from other places it's not bad but you have to get use to it; first you'll tell them what you want you give them your name, pay for it and then a few mins later they'll give you your food. The pricing is reasonable for a two item combo and a large pineapple juice I payed 13.80ish it's a little high but the portions are large and the pineapple juice is not too sweet and it's really refreshing. The workers are really nice but they need to get a new system.. sometimes I come in and order before other customers, nothing special just a combo, but then other customers get their order before me! So then I got smarter and started calling in my order. One time I was driving on my way home and I called to make an order.. they answered "pots and woks please hold" and just put the phone down, I was on hold for 6 minutes then I hung up.. I called back and the phone was off the hook like they forgot about me and didn't realize the phone was off the hook.. I understand this place has good food and is busy but it just looks like a mess when you go in because everything seems out of order.
