My experience with their online shop was amazing. I found used demo skis for a super great price during one of their sales. They have a lot of options for everyone at all levels at all price ranges. I just started getting back into skiing after taking 10 years off, and I'm so excited to use my "new" skis to get back on the slopes. They were mailed to me and the quality was amazing. I just bought a ski jacket and a pair of skis. When first entered there were a few costumers all being assisted by other sales staff. I turned around I thought I wounder how long the wait will be but to my amazement Amy came right up to me and introduced herself and ask what she could do to help me. When I told her what I had come in to look at she found it on there website and went in the back to retrieve it. Not more the two minutes of her leaving another employee check on me to make sure I was being take care of. This is quiet refreshing after dealing with big box stores and you can't find anyone to assist you anywhere. There was no presser sales pitch no trying to sell me the most expensive item on the floor. Amy let me drive will she gave me her professional advice on what I was looking at. I got a pair of ski boots from Powder 7 Ski Shop right before Christmas but after trying them on the slopes a couple of times, they hurt my feet to the point skiing wasn't fun. Usually have amazing service here and most the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Today however, the guy helping with boots was quite rude and not helpful. This is too bad because we live in Golden and consider this our local ski store. If we are buying boots from the store, I would expect better customer service when asking for help with them. read more

Can I give 6 stars? Maybe even 10? Holy crap these guys are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! I'm a new(er) skier and had tons of questions, and each time I went in I was warmly greeted, had every question answered fully, and they were beyond patient as I tried on boot after boot after boot. I was even told not to buy the more expensive boots I had my eye on, as they said I would be more comfortable in a different boot. Who doesn't want to sell the higher priced items?!? These guys don't just care about money: they cared about me, my experience, my comfort, and above all, my happiness as a customer. No more REI or the big-chain shops in town: PLEASE do yourself the favor and drive a little bit farther, and get the customer service you want. They even matched an online price for me, tossed in a free pair of socks, and refused any and all apologies about getting there right before close.
