Home was resided, within month siding was falling off. Raccoons got in to ceiling causing ceiling damage. Power said the warranty would not cover damage. They repaired siding. We needed new windows in our home that was built in 1867. Power Home Remodeling was the first to contact us and made an appointment to come out on February 8. Josiah came out at 4:30 and was punctual and polite. Where I had a problem was that he was at our house until nearly 11 pm. I had to leave twice while he was there and he stayed with my husband. No work was done while I was gone. So he did overstay his welcome. He was pushy on his sales tactic. We needed the job done so I said yes. I did change to only half of my house because the 'deal' was only good that night. If they would have agreed to come back the next day when I had time to sleep, I would have said yes to the complete house. The preinstall inspection was scheduled for February 13. That went without a hitch. Carl was prompt, courteous and quick. My install was scheduled for March 11 at 8-9 am. The day before I received a call that the crew would be late, around 11:00am, due to the storm we had the day before as they needed to finish another job. That was understandable. What was upsetting is that they did not get there unil 4:00 pm. Tyler was apologetic and did not know why the office would have told us 11:00, he told them later in the afternoon. That all worked out and Tyler and his crew came out again on Sunday and Monday to finish the job. I am satisfied with my new windows, in half my house. Now at least the whole house has double pane windows, even if they are not all the same. The pricing was reasonable compared to other companies in the area. The paperwork is online and I am able to follow the progress of my project. The nice part is that the work is all 100% guarenteed for lifetime, and is transferable if I was to sell the home. I purchased 5 windows for my house and installed a couple of years ago. I called the service department because I have a fine crack across the bottom of my window in my spare bedroom. I never had an accident to cause the window to crack. I was told to send a picture which was very difficult to take since it is not very noticeable. I sent the picture in so that the Manager could look at it. A couple of days later, I received a voice message indicating that the window was not covered under warranty and it would cost me $500 to replace. I called back to talk to a Manager and was told by another person that the window was not covered and it would cost me. I asked to speak to a Manager again she insisted that the Manager could not do anything. This staff finally said she would send my name and number to the Manager. Pushy unprofessional sales guy. Met them at sams club, came in to give me an estimate. He broke the wall shelf when accessing the attic. He pretended nothing happened. The sales guy kept asking too many personal questions and some rude statements. "how much do you make", "you are an engineer you should be bale afford this " " if I don't like you I will not do the work for you" Finally after all the marketing fluff,, he gave a quote for 6300 (which was supposed to be "amazing deal"). When I said I will think it over. He said 5500 today only prove. I said no. After that he took the magic calculator,,,suddenly the price the 4300.... what??? Absolutely the worst ever. When they first came out, they started hammering on the old siding. We were never told to remove items from the walls. Many items were damaged and Powers replaced nothing. They out the wrong shutters on. They said they would order the correct ones and come right out to install them. After a month, I called them to ask about the shutters. They said they had arrived but it would be a month before they could install them. After numerous phone calls, they came out within a week. After they were finished with the siding, our dryer wasn't working. I called Consumers. They discovered that Powers had sided over the vent. Consumers said if we had a gas dryer instead of electric, we would have been affiliated. 2 months after they had completed their work, I turned on the TV in our guest room and there was no signal. They had severed the cable and put siding over it. When I called them, they said it was too late for them to do anything about it. I have a good friend that experienced the same issues with Powers. I had new windows and a front door installed by this company, and everything went fine. The installers were professional and you would not have known they were there as they cleaned up everything. When their Quality Assurance Manager (Jake) came he looked over the work, made sure I understood how the windows worked and found a screen with a tear and fixed it on the spot. I do have one arched window that hasn't yet been installed due to the fit and a space at the top of the door so the work is not yet complete. I am also having new gutters, etc. replaced this week so I will update my review when everything is completed. I have been impressed with the workers and Ryan has been great when I had to reschedule a couple of times due to work, even the day before they were to come. Their policy to not pay anything until the work is done to my satisfaction was a strong factor in my choosing as well as they were the lowest in their pricing. Latest update: apparently the installers who put my new windows in broke the J channels on my siding which is why I have large gaps. The more I look the more I'm finding. Now, the repairs are bumped to October! Lord only knows what is getting in and behind my siding. Come to find out, they never pulled a permit which is required in Livonia. Not happy! read more

TLDR: pressured sales pitch, very expensive, sloppy work, and a month later they have stood me up 3 times and not fixed any of their mistakes. Here was my experience with PHRG. They have an excellent sales team. They probably exaggerated any minor issues we had with our roof, but we knew we were due for a replacement. They have an extensive sales pitch about the training their crews receive, the materials they use, and their warranty. They were able to offer roof intake ventilation which I needed and didn't have time to do myself. Their sales rep was knowledgeable and it seemed like they were selling a quality product and service. A few red flags during the sales pitch - they don't have their own crews. PHRG sub contracts out roofing work and they are really just a sales office. Red flag #2 - they told me they would install ventilation whether or not I already had it. Adding additional ventilation to a properly ventilated roof is unnecessary and not correct if your intake and exhaust ventilation is already proper. This should be a dead giveaway that they are just up-selling things you don't need. Red flag #3 was the classic high pressure "if you don't sign today" tactic, and then dropping %15 off our price when we said no. They day of the install, the crew showed up 2 hours early with absolutely no warning and in a van marked for a completely different roofing company. The foreman barely spoke English and seemed to be the only one of the entire crew that did. Halfway through the install I had to remind him to remove an old vent and cut another hole for a new vent. I was extremely clear about these requests with the salesperson. After my reminder they still left the new vent completely disconnected inside my attic and used the complete wrong style vent. This vent connects to my kitchen range hood and they used a vent meant for attic ventilation which lets outside air into my kitchen! There are numerous shingles that have not sealed, have very obvious gouges or tears, are missing asphalt granules, and left an exposed nail un-caulked. They did not block off my gable vent after the installation. Leaving a gable vent open with eve and ridge ventilation is improper. So, they either don't know better, or don't care about proper attic ventilation. When installing the counter flashing, they failed to remove old caulking and used clear (not color matched) caulking instead. Apparently they are required to use this specific caulk by GAF but it was installed very sloppily and sticks out like a sore thumb. They spray painted several of my vent stacks without asking me. The paint is runny and looks absolutely terrible in addition to getting over-spray on the shingles. They also scratched my brand new vinyl fence with their wheelbarrow. They later fixed this with some paint thinner when I pointed it out, but there is a theme of carelessness here. At the end of the day I refused to sign the completion of work paper. They have scheduled and failed to show up on 3 separate occasions to fix their install! Total waste of time and money. read more

They do a terrible job at fulfilling their warranty. They cancel your appointments and never tell you, They do not bring the correct tools to fix the things they are there to fix, so they have to come back out again, then it is someone else who has the same issue. When you call to ask why they never show up, They tell you that your appointment has been cancelled somehow. I can see that happening one time, When it happens more than once, seems like it is just normal practice and that they do not live up to the warranty that they claim to have. I was done with them and then they called and asked how things were holding up. So I told them about the issues with the shutter that was broke since it was installed. And the gutter down spout that came off the side of the house since they use a small nail to secure it on the brick on my home. I took a chance and scheduled the service appointment. I was shocked when they could come in a couple weeks this time instead of the 2+ months they would book before. The only they are good and consistent with is letting you down by making the appointment and never showing up. As for the value for the money, pick a different company and save thousands of dollars. By far the worse company I have ever dealt with. Sold me windows, and measured them twice. Showed up with the wrong sizes, 3 inches too small. The installer told me he could build the window frames in, but could not finish the outside. I did not allow this. They replaced the old window leaving insulation showing and several marked areas on the inside walls. They ordered new windows. Measured twice again. 4 months later, still not here. When I called the "Manager" literally said, "we are very busy, you have a fucking window and you are wasting my time". I asked when the time frame to replace the window was and he stated: "its not like you are our only customer, we will get there when we can". I asked for a refund of the deposit, to go to another company who could deliver the windows, he stated that not only would he not return the money, but would sue me for the full installation price. (which I chuckled) I wanted a time frame and he stated simply "Fuck OFF" and hung the phone up. I tried to get back to another manager or salesperson and was called two weeks later. I was told then in a smart-ass tone "we will try to get to you this year". Currently in process of suing these clowns! You should NEVER DEAL with this company! read more

I was sold a blown-in insulation and radiant barrier product. I did have heat problem in the attic, but I am surrounded by trees and don't have a lot of direct sunlight. Come to find out what I really needed was a vented soffit. I had the soffit vented by another company since Power does not perform this service. When installation day came and I explained the issue, I asked for only the blown-in insulation to be installed. Power Home Remodeling would not do the insulation without the radiant barrier product. I decided I did not want to pay several thousand dollars for a product I didn't need and we couldn't come to a deal. Horrible company. I purchased $50,000.00 worth of replacement windows from Power home Remodeling group for my whole house. My decision to purchase was based on the lifetime warranty. The initial installation went well then after a year, a couple of seals leaked, and the windows fogged. PHR group came out, inspected and scheduled the replacements. That went well. The next year a total of 12 more windows fogged badly. Again, they inspected and scheduled replacements. 3 months later it turned into a circus. The installer comes out, does two windows and says he has the wrong sizes for the others and has "never done one like that before. I'll need to have someone else come out". Another 3 months go by, same story, wrong window sizes. When they didn't return, I called and the warranty department said it would be another 6 months to get my replacement windows. It's now been a year and a half and and they won't return my calls. I am now forced to file suit against Power home Remodeling Group. read more

Got a quote on a new roof by 2 slick dudes in a bmw. Wanted to condition my attic. (??) Wanted to install more venting. Ok. A total if 33 square including the attached garage. Good size job. BUT, they went out to the beamer to figure out the quote. Total price- drum roll please - wait for it @@@@@@@$@@@ $68,000.00. Yes, sixty eight thousand dollars!! Were drugs involved?? Lol. They went back out the beamer (magic car) and came back in with a new price of $39,000.00. I still was in shock so they said another 10% off if they could put their sign in the yard. Told them to hit the road. Shockingly we went to downtown plymouth for a festival and there they were set up on the sidewalk trying to suck in new people. We had our roof done for $14,000.00 with new sheathing and added venting. I guess they only need a handful of customers at those prices. In October of 2020, Power Home Remodeling replaced my entire roof. They replaced the wood, shingles, everything, at a cost of $28,000. Now, 2 and a half years later, a huge bubble has formed under the shingles in the rear of the house and many shingles are slipping out of place. My house is now far worse than it was before I had the roof replaced. I have tried to get through to their warranty department, but all I get is musak, and the call never goes through. Encountered an overly-nice overly-accommodating overly-pushy salesman who was very skillful at manipulation while at a warehouse store. I really didn't need an estimate, but I let the salesperson talk me into one, as I was thinking I was helping him out fill some quota, which is why I continued. But in the end it was not worth my time at all, and I ended up cancelling my free quote estimate appointment in the end. The sales tactic, including the way of gathering my information itself was annoying, he was selling me on high pressure manipulation tactics, rather going by my actual interest. It was "I will sell to you, no matter if you need it or not, as long as I am able to get you to sign/share/agree". Salesperson mentioned they are not like "other guys", and there will be NO high pressure sales during the quote, but reading other reviews indicates otherwise, so continuing would make it for a rough time. Salesperson in a preemptive attempt to deter me from cancelling my appointment later, mentioned that if I attempt to cancel or even reschedule the appointment, it will reflect badly on him. So hence I shouldn't cancel, since I would be hurting his track record and I need to be a nice human being and keep it. Over the entire experience it felt as if I was a puppet being controlled. Might as well just come to my house and take my money. Please do better. 3 stars, because thankfully I did not experience the very bad, but I did not experience the very good. Cancelling my appointment for free estimate is a win win. I get to do something more interesting and fun in my life than being a recipient of a high pressure sales pitch and requests for money, and company gets to use its time on someone else who may buy, instead of wasting its time on me, someone who would not have bought anyway. We have been waiting 1 year and 6 months for the warranty department to come replace two windows that were made poorly and develop a dirty-spottiness in-between the glass. Since we purchased the windows in 2015, we called the warranty department twice. The first time they came out and replaced the bad window and there wasn't any issue. The second time has been a nightmare. I called in June 2020. It's now December 2021 and we still don't have the replacements. One of the windows has gotten so bad that you can hardly see out of it. See the timeline below for our 18 months of interactions with this company. (Some are covid delays, but the majority of our issues are from poor customer service). June 2020- Filed a warranty claim September 2020- They came to replace the window (on the wrong scheduled day with the wrong window). They had to have a new window made and rescheduled for January 2021. *I wrote a poor review on Google about our experience, and the company asked for more information. I thought they would contact us to make it right or even just apologize, but we never heard from them. January 2021- They didn't have the window made. They called to postpone. New date was set for April. April 2021- 8am appointment was made. No one came and we didn't get a phone call about it either. We called and they said they canceled our appointment, but failed to inform us of it (apparently the windows were still not made). December 2021- They scheduled us for December 15th between 9 and 10am. I called the day before to confirm. They said we were all set. Did they come? NOPE! Apparently the installer had an emergency. Emergencies happen, but this isn't the first time. So here I am leaving another poor review because they already got my money and hopefully I can help someone else realize that this is NOT a good company to choose. My husband and I were impressed with the product (when it's not faulty) but the customer service is TERRIBLE. This company does not make you a priority. I spoke with the manager of the install team today and he told me to "calm down because they're just windows." Maybe I'd be calmer if someone over there cared. They've had multiple opportunities to make it right, but they keep making it worse. I don't think they realize with all these no-show appointments that people rearrange furniture, take down window treatments, and often have family members come to the house to let the installers in. I felt so bad for my family member who sat at my house for nothing for hours. We went with a different competing window company to replace the remainder of our old windows. We scheduled the appointment in January and had them installed a month later (with no issues). So is Power Home Remodeling going to keep blaming covid when other companies are doing so much better?? I hired Power Home Remodeling to do my siding and gutters.  They were the most expensive quote I received, but I was sold on the quality of work and products that I had been shown, and the lifetime transferable warranty helped as well.  Unfortunately, things have not been smooth.  A week into the project I was sent a letter from my city that I did not file a permit for the siding work.  They were supposed to take care of this, so I called to see what was going on.  They ensured me that they would file the permit and I should be all set.  A week later, I get another notice in the mail from my city regarding the permit.  So, I called Power again and they had no notes on filing the permit the first time around but they said they would take care of it today.  Another week goes by, and I get the same notice from my city.  After calling a third time, they were able to successfully get the permit.  A couple days later however, I check my mail and now have a Citation from the city for failing to pay the permit fine.  Power offered to call them the next morning but at this point, I had to call and take care of it myself.  Turns out they did not enter the permit correctly.  In addition to this, the scheduling and work itself have not been great.  I had trash left in my driveway for nearly a month.  There are numerous problems with my siding including terrible caulking work around my garage that looks like a beginner did it.  The shake on the front of my garage is warping and I can visibly see the backing insulation in multiple places.  Also, the gutter installation was seemingly not planned at all.  I had to call multiple times to get them out here.  I understand weather delays are a thing but this seemed like if I didn't call who knows when they would have come out.  My project started on 9/7, gutters installed on 10/22, and I still need someone to come out and fix all the previously mentioned siding issues.  Although multiple people at the company expressed how sorry they were and how they were going to fix this, I have been disappointed time and time again.  I have plenty of work I need done on my house but I sure won't be using them after this experience. Update - I called them again on 11/9 to see when they had scheduled the work I discussed with them on 11/1. (The work I have already discussed with at least three other people prior.) They told me the earliest they can get back out to do the work is 12/22. Lol. Worse yet, if I didn't call, I don't think anyone would have showed up. Avoid this company. Brand new $16,000 roof with wood replacement. This dip was the main point of discussion when we talked with the sales person, they assured us that when they demoed whatever they found that needed fixing they would let us know and do so possibly with additional costs but we wanted it done right so I decided to pay way more than a roof costs hoping this resulted in quality work. They never let us know what they found and instead shingled over this obviously damaged area. I pointed this out to the follow up agent and he tried to tell me that my porch was collapsing. I am a licensed builder with the state of Michigan and this dip is the result of a sagging roof rafter. They ignored this and now repairing the dip is a bigger task since it's underneath my brand new shingles. I would like this fixed or I will seek further action. This roof was done less than a year ago and this was noted on original post work inspection. The workers came out, fixed 1 of 5 noted drip edges that were not cut to the right angle to meet the roofline and left. The roof looks great and the attic encapsulation is perfect however I was left with roofing nails everywhere in my yard and in front of my house in the road. They damaged my aluminum fascia and refuse to replace it stating it has been too long for them to replace it that they couldn't have damaged it. Very disappointed that I now have to spend more money to have someone replace my aluminum fascia on my home after spending so much money on Power Home Remodeling installing my roof and attic. Had a door knocker come to my house a few months ago. Very pushy but made an appointment. After doing research, including their outrageous prices and the expose channel 4 did about the company, I cancelled and requested no more communication. Just now, a salesman knocked on my door. I told him to leave me alone and leave my property. I then called the Southfield office against stated I am to be left alone. I will not hesitate to file trespassing and solicitation charges against the company if they continue. While I appreciate the response, it still does not fix the issue of the screens falling out. No one is pushing on them. And it is a safety concern. I was told by the service manager that doing the end to end screens would make it difficult for service calls from the Power Techs. NOT that it would damage anything. The windows have a poor design. It takes two hands to properly close the windows, the screens randomly fall out, drafty, and definitely do not filter sound. Typical scammy way overpriced high pressure sales pitch (over 2 hours long to wear you down to accept a BS quote after they pretend to lower the price a few times so you get them to leave). ~$13k for attic insulation (no the insulation was not laced with gold or 8 times better than what other contractors use and of course I needed to get on their schedule immediately or else the houses structure would immediately fail) for an ~1,100 square foot house and $22k for 10 windows and a front exterior door. The attic quote was insane compared to real companies that friends and family have used and referred me to that I'll be going with! Guy said all of my seals were blown out (have not felt a draft through a window or have had condensation build up between my windows ever). Guy told me base of my front door was rotting and would spread to my rim joist right below if I didn't go with them immediately... must not have looked really hard as my door sill sits directly on concrete lol. Of course when I was not interested the scrub of a sales guy (Dan) had looked at my dog and said if I had a dog I could prioritize what mattered (guys commission for way overpriced services). I was given a total price of $35k with a ~$950 a month payment but if I did it all at once and signed up today it'd be $30k for a ~$450 monthly payment (I would love to see the financing terms where taking ~15% off the price cuts the monthly payment in more than half but I didn't ask as I wanted this sophomoric excuse of a sales guy to leave...). Before leaving he offered one last desperation offer of $26k for everything and after declining that which was only (by power standards only) my third declination of their services our low energy scrub of a sales weasel huffed grabbed his stuff and left (gave up pretty easy compared to other reviews on here). tl/dr there are several options better than use these guys including taking a match to your house and setting up a new one made of cardboard on the ashes, one of their salespeople would probably take you up on this and quote you ~$5k for the cardboard though! Go for a reputable local contract via neighborhood and word of mouth referrals for work instead, there are way too many companies that don't operate like these clowns to give them any business read more

We contacted Power Home Remodeling back in April for replacement windows, and in May my wife and myself signed a contract for 4 windows that needed to be replaced, 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and install. 4 weeks ago they were to be installed, never notified we had to call them to find out appointment was postponed, because factory did not deliver. This Waltham, Ma. Company set another appointment for install on 08/19/2021 my wife who is a Nurse took the day off, I 'm handicap, again no communication, no show had to call them, they again said windows did not arrive. They have breached the contract 3 times. I called them they told me again they would be out to install on Tuesday 08/24/2021, I told them this is their last promise, if no call and no show, I am going to cancel them out and find another company. The follow up appointment with Remodeling Consultant, Zac, was time-consuming, but informative, and his level of expertise made us comfortable. He went over all materials, ensured we understood the photos he took of our attic/roof, purpose of inspection, and reasoning behind recommendations. My husband and I decided to move forward with insulation. Another follow up appointment with pre-inspection Project Manager, Christopher, was made. During this meeting, we were told our house was measured incorrectly; the difference in price was nearly a grand, which was cleared up/corrected during the next meeting with Aaron Schroyer, in charge of overseeing the project into the final stages. Aaron cleared up the confusion with measurements, and advised us (just as Zac did) to replace our roof and do insulation. He also followed up with the lender and got us a reduced rate. Budget was the primary concern and the lower rate allowed us to move forward. Our experience from then on went downhill. Insulation install came with a window of 8-10 AM. Installers arrived after 10 and admitted they went to the wrong site. Install continued, all was normal - until it wasn't. Somehow, insulation got lodged in the track of our kitchen pocket door and any time it's moved, insulation falls out. We set up a time to get it repaired. That was supposed to be today. They called at 8 AM, advised they needed to push the appointment up. This was fine, but then, they called back, and said they needed to reschedule entirely. We've already waited a week for them to return/address this. Now, roof installation - during our appointment with Aaron, we asked if a rep would contact us to confirm what he said was a tentative install date of 03/29. Aaron said we would be contacted for confirmation, but we weren't. I received a call 03/28 -- the day they tried to deliver supplies - literally when the truck with was sitting outside our house. We didn't receive a call informing us a dumpster would be delivered/parked in the driveway the same day. It was only during my brief phone call with a rep, who asked me to "remove my car from the driveway," that I learned we were scheduled to have the roof installed 03/29. During this time, I received a call from a rep regarding the Installation Completion Certificate for insulation. As the project wasn't finished, we didn't sign the form, which we communicated to the installers and Aaron. It's documented the pocket door needs to be addressed/there was also an appointment for it to be addressed. We also received the paperwork from the lender, which shows the old rate they quoted, not the new. These two things ramped up frustration. On the day of roof install, I received a text from Josh, who informed us he was the Project Manager. Installation seemed to be going fine until the tail-end. We communicated with Aaron (who we thought was the Project Manager) the satellite dishes installed before we purchased the home didn't need to be put back. We thought (incorrectly) this would have been put on file/communicated to the crew - it wasn't. One satellite dish was put back on, which was eventually removed again, but the worker who removed it cut the wires it had been attached to and left the remaining dangling from the house. I followed up with Josh, asked when the dumpster would be removed. He stated it was communicated to us beforehand that it "would be in the driveway until Monday." This was not communicated to us; when I said this, it was removed next day. Additionally, we were promised a thorough cleanup, but the cleanup was anything but thorough. Plastic/bits of materials in the yard, granules from old shingles all over the porch/driveway, bits of materials in the neighbor's yard, and just this AM, a nail in the driveway. Even with high-quality materials, lifetime guarantee/transferrable warranty, lower rate with lender, and friendliness of Zac/Aaron/work crews, the expense of the project/trust we put in Power should, at the very least, mean we receive prompt service/concise communication. Wow these reviews saved me from purchasing their services. Sales Rep came and was very pushy for 3 hours before leaving. I was feeling quite pressured to say yes until I saw these comments after he stepped out for a minute to take a call from his boss. Potentially saved me from wasting $15k. Edit: I have done more research on the company and honestly it's sad how such a scam can get away with what they do. They use sales tactics to hook you into a contract. They put 100% of their efforts into the sales aspect of their business so once you are locked into the contract they do a crappy, cheap job and take your money. They never adhere to the warranties and repairs they promise. I think they pay off the Better Business Bureau because it's insane how this scam can not only continue for so long but also continue to grow. It seems plain as day enough to the average consumer that they are a scam that it is insane how the BBB doesn't see it. Don't trust them and if this review saves even one person from falling for their sales pitch it's worth writing. I wish I could snap my fingers and make a company like this, who preys on first time home owners and the elderly, go away and cleanse the earth of this morally rotten group of thieves. If you were pressured by the buy now strategy they use when they make their sales pitch, I promise you no matter how much they make it seem like you are getting an absolute deal, it will always be better to shop around first and not just take the first quote you see for major home remodeling projects. read more

They seem like scam artists at best. They've cold called my house in person multiple times during the pandemic with high pressure sales tactics despite me repeatedly telling them not to come back and even hanging a "No Soliciting" Sign on my front door. read more

We did not contract with this company. And her is why. First the sales person took way too long with the presentation. Waiting an hour and a half to get to the way too high estimate. Second in an attempt to be friendly he was bizarre and unprofessional. Including asking for a hug. I think most customers just want the cost and warranties. Most customers do not want their time wasted. read more

Brad stop by from power asking if I needed my windows replaced. I said eventually but not now I have alot of other things going on right now. He made small talk so I played along. I agreed to a 6pm appointment knowing I was planning on leaving. I did they stopped by. I saw on my ring system they stopped by and waited 1/2 hr. I will communicate with them that maybe you should listen when someone speaks and don't think you're all that slick... I'm not new here! I mess with telemarketers also! read more

I decided to go with Power for windows and siding. My first experience was a miss quote. They informed me that they could do my front and back porch but later said they couldn't do my back porch siding. So they redid my quote but they forgot to add things on the current job so we were charged more because they forgot to add my soffit costs. Next bad experience, I was promised my windows on the 2nd and my siding on the 3rd. They came out 5 days early for the windows and I thought wow they are good. However they still were late that day I had a 1100-3 appointment but they didn't arrive until 7. Just to think I took off work and didn't need to. But now they're postponing my siding for almost a week. The whole idea was to have my house ready for my 4th party but instead the front of my house is unfinished and horrible looking. I have a driveway full of siding. And they told us we needed to be home on the last day of installation. So my wife and I took off work for nothing costing us over $600 for the day. When I call in to complain, the customer service rep asked why did you take off work we never recommend that. I told her that we were told we both have to be there on the last day and the paperwork states it also. We did get an apology but I'm not happy. I think I will install the siding myself and they can just charge me for the supplies. I was told the Vice President of installation would call me, he never did. So I'm stuck with my house looking a mess until next week. Thanks Power! I was considering to have them work on a few of my rental homes, but on second thought I will never go with a big company like this again. They don't care about anything but money. When the team finally came out they did outstanding work. The regional VP finally called back and apologized for the inconvenience that we suffered and offered us a small compensation to make things ok. Overall Power did an outstanding job, we just had bad communications with their team which lead to our headaches. I changed my rating from 1 star to 4. read more
