I can't even express the nonsense that goes on in this establishment. I am strictly an evening patron, typically after 8 pm. I have been a customer for a long period of time and was rooting for their continued success. After 4 flubbed deliveries and apologies tonight I placed my order as I had a credit, and talked to the manager on duty, Nate, and he told me he was hired to change things and he was glad to receive my order and crediting it to past flubs and in addition a future pizza order. I refused any future pizzas and said our order was sufficient. He insisted x 3 to give us another pizza in the future. We ordered and expected our order in 45 or so. While waiting I received a phone call and spoke to Nate when he said "I'm sorry we won't be delivering." I asked what the problem was and he said his staff refused to make my order and that they felt taken advantage of. Never did I EVER ask for any free anything, the offer came from them after their errors. I am disappointed in this local business and it's apparent young and undisciplined staff that are unable to take direction. Thought I'd take my family here after some early morning Black Friday shopping. Been to the one downtown and enjoyed it, however the Niblick location was totally different. When we walked through the door there was some alternative music playing, after a few seconds we noticed the CUSS WORDS in the song. The "F" word was used repeatedly, I approached the young lady behind the counter and asked her to switch the station. This request was apparently a huge inconvenience to her, as evidenced by the look of disgust on her face. She did switch the station to something more family friendly, so that was nice. Then came the video games. I watched at least 3 of the games eat the coins my kids deposited into them. Ugh, I had to interact with the "sweetheart" behind the counter again. I asked her for the coins back that were eaten by their machines. Fortunately, they were given back. Unfortunately, there was no "sorry", or "we'll try and fix them", she just set the coins on the table and walked away. Then, the pizza, all of it was burned on the bottom. I wish I would have taken a picture of it, but I didnt. We ordered lunch specials, which came with fountain drinks, there was no fountain drink dispenser. We were left to choose from 3 different kinds of canned soda or bottled water. We dont let our kids drink soda, so water it was, not even lemonade or iced tea. What really sucks about this experience is that this is the only sit down pizza place on that side of town and we were excited about that. Too bad we won't be going there again. We've had nothing but good experiences with the original place downtown, but this place is the complete opposite. read more

I really liked eating here because it is the perfect place to be a casual hang out for a quick bite. I was there on an late Friday afternoon, while there was a 50% off beer pitchers. Perfect. We can watch the game while sipping brew. The boyfriend ordered a medium size of the Supreme Pizza. I found it pretty tasty, although I'm not so much a pizza kind of girl. I went ahead and ordered some kind of pasta with sausage, onion, red bell peppers, etc. served with a side of garlic bread. It was VERY GOOD! We also had a side of the hot wings, that were to DIE FOR. They were so good that they were the first to go, with me and my guy racing to get the most wings! They also had a salad bar (which I did not order from), with a variety of toppings. Looked fresh. Oh, in case you have kids, it is also a friendly environment, with a mini arcade in the other room. With how satisfying our food was, I do not doubt that the rest of the menu would be stellar in taste. I can see Mission Pizza being our "Go-To" whenever we're in the area, for it had something for everyone. Overall, walked out a happy camper and will visit again the next time we're passing through! This wasn't our first visit but will be our last. The management seems to have changed along with the clientele. Non employees were observed entering the kitchen area and just wandering about the restaurant. Children who seemed familiar with the employees helped themselves to croutons and sunflower seeds from the salad bar- using their hands. Good food, we've had it delivered a few times. Have to give only three stars because TWICE they've forgotten the side of pesto I ordered. The first time they forgot it AND a salad. Second time I told them "hey last time you guys forgot the pesto" and the person on the phone acted like they didn't hear me. Food came and guess what? No pesto again. Also, the delivery drives smelled like smoke and our food boxes smelled like smoke even hours after it got to us. Meh. Good food BUT we're tired of these annoying and gross issues. So far so not good. We walk in. Only one waitress and we had no idea that we had to order the pizza and they bring it to our table. No one noticed us when we walked in and no suggestion that we should order first then be seated and so three parties got here after us. This pizza better be good that is all I got to say for now. Verdict: so okay pizza supposed to have sauce on it right? The sauce was practically non-existent. The sauce is my favorite part. Disappointing. I had to order a side of sauce just so I can taste the "world famous red sauce". Again, the waitress. She plopped the salad and pizza on our table without a word. Pretty disappointed as this is our favorite pizza place in North county. The place is run down and dirty looking. They used to have a good salad bar but it's been moved up against the counter and 1/2 of it is virtually inaccessible, the lettuce was super brown and old looking and the girl behind the counter can't pour a beer properly (she literally turned the bottle straight upside down causing a ton of foam and then poured half of it out!). Very disappointed and won't be returning. We've been going here for years and will be looking for a new pizza place. read more

Above and Beyond!! My wife recently picked up the wrong pizza and didn't realize until she arrived at our home 25 minutes outside of Paso Robles. When she called to explain she was passed to management and they told her that they would bring the right pizza to her, 35 minutes later the owner himself delivered what turned out to be the best pizza we have had anywhere in a really long time. As a small business owner myself I found this very refreshing that they went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Most pizza joints would have given you credit next time, not drove 25 minutes each way to make things right. 5 stars!! read more

I stopped in to get a large pizza and a salad. Holy crap...the salad bar had brown wilted cucumbers, celery, broccoli, mushroom,s and carrots and cauliflower. NASTY. When I mentioned it, one gal changed the celery and took off some of the rotten cucumbers. But it wasn't until I said I would put this on line, then they made a beeline for it. It's sad because it was lunch time. Nothing worse then a rotten salad bar. Even the 1000 island dressing had a "film" on it. Sorry , but not going back. read more

Good, fresh ingredients. The only thing that kind of sucks is they only have one delivery driver and sometimes it is so busy it is quicker to just go pick it up. However, there was one night that I called and he offered to deliver even though I didn't order to minimum $20 so that made up for the times I had to go pick it up. Personally I think this is the best pizza place in paso robles and maybe even the Central Coast. Why? 1. Fresh toppings - you can tell the toppings are cut fresh and it tastes healthy! 2. Not a fan of white sauce but their white sauce is AMAZING. It's actually delicious - you have to try it. 3. From salami to pepperoni to their chicken all their meats taste fresh and great. The chicken pieces are so big compared to your average dominos or Pizza Hut toppings and doesn't taste "a day old". 4. I appreciate that they don't mess up my order. I come from a family that all has various taste. We always end up swapping toppings, adding items. Doing half pizza one kind and half another. It's never surprising people mess up our order- but not ppk! 5. Quick service. Called just the other day and pizza was ready in 20 minutes! 6. I've dined in about twice here and I liked the service. It was busy too when I went and the staff was attentive and quick. I have no complaints. 7. The selection of the menu is phenomenal- there are so many speciality pizzas with such interesting touches and tastes. I never know which one to chose! Love ppk -- check it out. read more

Have been here many times and absolutely loved it. As I sit here tonight eating My less than mediocre pizza I am extremely disappointed. Staff (with the exception of 1) is rude and non hospitable. From walking through the back door we were greeted with nothing but scowls. The restaurant is dirty. Even the buffet. If they were busy and couldn't to it that would be understandable, but this is just not the case. There are only 4 tables sat including myself. There are plenty of employees here, most of which are leaning on counters or playing with phones. Now normally I would have just walked out right there. But I'm starving and they HAD the best damn BBQ pizza in California. Had... Is the important word. I asked for extra BBQ sauce. I'm pretty sure there is almost none. I also asked for it and my potato skins (which surprise, they are not really "skins") to be well done. Both are soggy. I don't know if this place is under new ownership or management, but it has went WAY down hill all around. From the vulgar employees my 2 year old just learned how to cuss from to the ranch slathered buffet, or the non wiped off tables or the sad excuse for my dinner I just wasted $40 on. I am just grateful I came in here myself (haven't been in a few months) before my family reunion I was planning on having here next month. If I would have heard anyone else say anything bad about this place I would've called them a liar.. So very disgusted. WTH PPK!? read more

Very very disappointed and won't be ordering from here again. Almost 2 hrs of a wait for 1 lrg pizza they said would take 45 min. I call to make sure my order is still coming, girl says he left 15 minutes ago... I live about 8 minutes away. We've had a couple drinks which is why we couldn't pick up ourselves. He gets here, pizza is cold, disgusting, pizza is also missing ingredients, and the ingredients that were on there were very skimpy. He didn't even bring the ranch they charged me for and when we asked for crushed peppers, he claimed he didn't have any. We ended up just throwing it away after a couple bites off one slice. Ugh! Totally frustrated. Farwell ppk, you used to be our favorite. We will now be switching to Marv's pizza or Chubby's from now on. but never again PPK. Was in Paso for a weekend trip and my friend was craving some pizza. The hotel recommended Mission Pizza and after going I have no idea why. I got the personal size margherita pizza and a small salad. The salad bar was actually good and had options of romaine, spinach or mixed greens which was nice. Nothing spectacular, but good. The pizza, however, tasted like frozen cardboard pizza. The crust/sauce had zero flavor and I couldn't believe I just paid $14.60 for a personal size gross pizza, a small one trip salad bar, and a miniature cup of water that had to be refilled 4 times to get 1 regular glass. (I hate when places give you a tiny cup just because you order water!) Not impressed and won't be coming back next time I'm over that way. read more

So not happy to be writing this. Lived up the street for 16 years. Ordered from you since you opened. Always good. Last few orders quality went down hill fast. Way burnt fries, skimpy food portions (sandwiches) ordered a pizza week and a half ago, not bad , but not the usual goodness. Tonight...bun on chicken sandwich burnt, xtra order potatoes undercooked (guessing they tried to make up for the last burnt order.) So Not the same. Last time we will ever order from Paso mission/ppk Pizza. Whoever is charge now, disappointment. read more

After how I was treated calling to check on my pizza the first time to the third time when my pizza was finally delivered cold and solidified I would rate 0 stars. Called at an hour to check on pizza. Told delivery driver was still not back and pizza was sitting there ready. Called again to see if pizza would still be warm and they said on its way. Girl who delivers tells us she had to bring it because delivery driver wasn't back. Long story short pizza was cold and hard. Called back asked to speak with management and told there was none. Asked to speak to owner told hold on for someone close to management. Lady answers phone "what's the problem?" I said wow this is nuts I paid full price for this pizza and it's cold 1.15 hours later and they said manager is too busy to get on phone so we will send you another. I told her super bad customer service but fine. They literally took other pizza when they came with no discount or anything and we finally ate at 9:56 pm when I ordered at 8:15. And to even end worse replacement pizza wasn't even made as we originally ordered and called again to speak with "manager" who again would not get on the phone! Love this pizza place, but went there the other night and our experience was not the best. It was not busy, but their customer service was very slow. We watched as our pizza was cut and placed on the bar to be delivered to us and each time after employees walked by the pizza several times, it took 10 minutes before our pizzas were brought to us. We ordered two pizzas and two salads. We were done with salads when our first pizza arrived, I pushed our salad bowls to the edge of the table thinking the waitress would take them as she dropped off our pizza. NOPE! She threw the pizza on the table and walked away. Second pizza, same thing, I quickly moved the dishes to the back of our table to make room for the pizza. While we were there, she also messed up on another customers order and instead of just fixing it (he wanted meatballs and didn't get any) they made him go back and pay. I'm sorry, customer comes first and he shouldn't have been charged and then have to wait longer for his order. Good pizza but terrible customer service! read more

We have ordered pizza for years from this place. They just keep lowering the quality until tonight it was horrific! A pizza with "sausage" and 6 pieces on the entire large pizza! The sauce on the other large pizza was 4" short of the edges and the chicken was on every other piece! Called to talk to a manager and got forgotten on hold! Called again and there is NO manager working. I was told to call back tomorrow to complain! Poor customer service! Bummer!!! read more

We were on vacation and wanted pizza in downtown Paso. We tried the other place and it was OK. A couple days later we found PPK. Awesome pizza and pasta at a great price. We've been back several times and it's always excellent. The outdoor area has a great view of the park and town. It's our favorite in Paso. read more

Our favorite Saturday spot!! We love the maui bread, all the pizzas are delicious, pesto tortellini is so good, salad bar is on point, and they have union jack on tap so pitchers are a must!! We love Christian and Veronica , they are always so helpful and go above and beyond every time we come in!! Love this place! read more
