So hubby and I came in on a Sunday night just wanting some pizza and pasta. Ordered the baked rigatoni and also a pizza that we "special" ordered. Here's the thing - my hubby hates veggies, veggies of any kind. I love veggies but also love meat! So we ordered a kitchen sink pizza from the girl but explained (even made jokes with her) that my husband hates veggies - so she assured us that half of the pizza would be only meat and the other half the whole kitchen sink. Welllllllllll - after waiting 30 minutes (it wasn't crowded) we finally were brought out a pasta and pizza by two gals - the pasta was correct (but meh) but the pizza completely messed up!!!! Half of it was a white sauce with veggies only and the other half was the kitchen sink - veggies on the entire pizza!!! Hubby was grossed out. They knew they had messed up so automatically said do you want a personal pizza with no veggies?? We said yes. They never came back with it. Whatever. That's BS. I can't say enough about this place! Best pizza I've had since leaving the SF Bay area, where there's some pretty awesome pizza.. Online ordering process was super easy, delivery tonight was about 25 minutes earlier than expected (kind of a surprise since it's Labor Day weekend!). Ok food, not so good service. We came in at 8 ordered a large pizza half Hawaiian half cheese only. They brought a hawaiian pizza half with NO cheese haha. They remade it letting us have the bad one while we wait. I ordered an all u can eat salad bar and after i got 1 plate they asked me when id be done so they can put it up. They started closing up the restaurant, putting up all the chairs except ours at 9 even though theyre open til ten. They even turned off all the games in the back. We had to ask them to turn them back on so my daughter could play something. Well, I did my homework and did a Yelp search to find a good pizza place in Paso. Unfortunately, Pizza Planet was not open in time to make 6 pizza's for a work meeting. So I headed to Mission Pizza. What a disappointment. 6 "Large"...so called large....cost $120 bucks. $20 bucks a pie-an OK price for a decent pizza. However, what a disappointment. The large pan on the wall was almost double the size of the actual "Large" pizza. There was almost an inch gap on the inside of the medium sized pizza box with the pizza inside. My work clients laughed. They said, "what's up with the small pizzas?" since we have a pretty good size gathering it was quite embarrassing. The topics were meager and looked like a cheap frozen pizza. The crust was the worst. Thin crust no taste. Just horrible. I left a message for the owner to call my cell, but have still not had any reply. I guess you can burn a customer once, but take a look at my face. You'll never see me in here again. Spread the word. Worst ripoff pizza in Paso Robles. The cheese pizza was the worst. I am hoping to download a photo of it --$14 bucks. What a joke. On our way to Paso Robles for a weekend getaway we decided to find really good pizza and after a few searches we stumbled upon paso's pizza kitchen . We rented a bnb in paso and ordered the pizza giving them the delivery address unfortunately the driver on the way here his cellphone died and so I got a call from the pizza place letting us know that this has happened and that they can send us out another pizza soon. In no time the pizza arrived much faster than my expectations . This shows that this business went over and beyond to satisfy the customer . Pizza is pretty good average priced all meat large for around 15 dollars. Not overwhelming on the toppings but just right amount. Have been here 3 times now first two times pizza was cooked just right crust was nice and crisp almost. On the third time Idk what happened the crust was like Chewy like it was not cooked enough or missing an ingredient almost like as if it was stale bread type of feeling. read more

Our first mistake was that we were trying to find a pasta place in the area and the other Italian restaurants didn't open until later. We ordered two pasta dishes (pesto tortellini, vodka penne shrimp). The tortellini dish was so small - maybe just over 1 cup of food. My husband was trying to carb up for a 100 mile bike trip, so I gave him part of mine. Flavor was OK on both. The vodka sauce tasted like store-bought and the shrimp (5) were rubbery and overcooked. The food aside, the restaurant was pretty quiet (4 tables were full when we arrived) but the tables were not clean. Maybe a rush had just left. An employee was in a corner booth with a group of people and two little boys spent our entire time there running everywhere in the restaurant, helping themselves to drinks, going in and out of the back room, sometimes coming out with salad bar food in their hands. Hardly relaxing to have a meal, even in a pizza restaurant, when kids are running everywhere. After finishing, we went to a popular steakhouse nearby and shared a couple of happy hour appetizers since we were still hungry. Should have started at the steakhouse. read more

This new location on Creston Rd was a great surprise. The restaurant that was previously in this location was SO bad! When we drove by the new Paso Pizza Kitchen location, the parking lot was packed! There were lots of families there with kids, The service was good, the pizza I had (veggie pesto) was terrific. My husband ordered a calzone, which is gigantic and not for the faint of heart. It was also very good. There were 6 beers on tap. The ONLY criticism I have is that there were only two choices for wine. But the food was really good! read more

This used to be a fairly nice establishment a number of years ago. It has steadily declined since then. Customer service gets poor rating at best. Mission PPK hires very young and inexperience staff that don't seem to really care about their patrons. Tables are left dirty for newly arriving customers. This business generally dirty and not well kept up. The prices are also now much too high. After having 3 bad visits in a row, I am afraid to say we are done eating at this location for good. read more

Disgusting place. The soda machine had a scummy film im the drain pan that stank like dirty feet which you could smell halfway through the dining area. I saw a guy replenishing the salad bar with bare hands after having picked up broccoli off the floor. The pizza is basic freezer food woth toppings added AFTER it is heated. An way over priced. Terrible Service as of late... Used to be my standby for delivery, however, another wrong order today. Asked for 2 combos/ buy 1 get 1 1/2 off and dozen wings. Teenage girl showed up with 1 pizza wings and bad attitude... It's not so much the wrong order rather the lack of costumer service their young employee oozed from her foul attitude. PPK employees could benefit from a little customer service intervention or maybe just stop hiring 16 yr olds with the tweener attitude. read more

After a day of wine tasting, I really wanted pizza for dinner, so my husband and I checked out this place. It's in downtown, and wasn't too busy. We had a pizza and some potato "skins", which turned out to be wedges with cheese, onions, and bacon melted on top. My hubby thought the pizza was good, and I thought it was okay. I thought the potato "skins" were good, and he thought they were okay. We paid about $21 for a medium one topping pizza, and small potato skins. This seems like a pretty good local place to get a quick dinner. They had a decent looking little salad bar, and pretty good beer selections.
