Last service performed this late Fall suggested we needed appx. $18,000.00 of repairs to be done. We declined........System has been fine as it has been for the last 8 Years. We have used Precision Air to service our heat pumps for many years. This month they replaced our 12 year old Ruud with a new Goodman heat pump. Dave and Ryan did the installation with the heat pump rotated so the connections were on the front corner of the heat pump in order to lessen vibration. We requested that the heat pump be rotated so the connections are at the back corner so that both heat pumps face forward and match. Purchased a heat pump a few ago. Was sold on a very good system. What really made me choose them was the so called warranty. I was told that I had coverage for 10 years provided that I pay my annual maintenance agreement which costs $205 annually. Install process and servicing had been fine until this year. I got a rather hasty letter saying that I didn't renew my agreement. So I called and had that resolved. A few weeks later I notice an issue with the system. So I called and they came out to check things. I was told a part was needed and that they had or order it. They said it would be a few days and that the install would be about three hours etc. a few days go by and finally they came to replace the part. When they were done to my surprise I was handed a bill. I refused it saying that I was under contract. The tech said the part was covered not the labor and the Freon. This was never explained to me. Got a call today from service manager who is bullying me into paying. Mind you he was bargaining with me. They never told me I was subjected to any charges. NONE. The bill is well over $400. I feel like I'm being scammed here. Bottom line. Don't do business with this company. Promises not kept. read more

Precision Air is a good and very popular company in our area. We have used them for years. Mechanical warrantees rarely include labor. Unlike a previous reviewer, we knew this because we read our contract! We have MAJOR issues with our system a few months before the warrantee expired and a several thousand dollar part was free. They are reputable and easy to work with - been a customer for 15 years with no major issues. read more

Precision Air installed my new heat pump two years ago. The salesman was a great guy. Their contract stipulated that I would save 30% on my heating bill and that they would balance the system. My heating and cooling bills actually increased by an average of over $35 a month through the first two years of ownership. Despite several requests they never balanced the system. The salesman stepped back and no longer acted as agent for the company. The system works well and the second annual checkup (by a different vendor) showed the heat pump to be functioning normally. This is a company that does not follow through on their promises. read more

We just moved into a new house and were having trouble with our boiler. We had a tech take a look and were told we'd need to replace the system--about $7500. Fortunately, we contacted Precision to get a second quote. The salesman, Tim, looked at our system and explained that it does NOT need to be replaced. He explained exactly what we need to do going forward. Even though he was a salesman, he didn't talked us out of buying something incredibly expensive that we simply don't need. Huge relief. Tim also sat down and talked us through our system, how it works, etc. He told us to contact him ANY time with questions, etc. We have and he has been there for us. Stellar service.
