    Unassuming business located on lower Waialae Ave..... Who would know? So, there's a company, Premier Automotive who is a used car dealership is located on lower Waialae Ave. Did you know they also have a full service mechanical repair shop for engine repairs and something as simple as an oil change. I was certainly impressed with their full service engine repair shop who does everything EXCEPT safety checks. For me, I'm either lazy, spoiled, ignorant, demanding or a combination of all as I like to take my car to one place and have them do everything. Even if they have to sub out the work to a specialty mechanic, I'd rather have them do it than for me run around especially since I'm not versed in what would have to be done.... The best parts of this place? 1) competitive pricing (to many engine repair shops and tire places) 2) friendly service starting with the owner, manager and down the totem pole 3) comfortable place to wait if it's a simple oil change. You can have a cup of coffee or some ice cold water while you wait The hardest part of this place is to get into the premises. You know how difficult it can be on Waialae Ave.... But.... it's worth it!!! AND If I can do, so can you! Give them a try; I'm pretty certain you won't be disappointed.

    Owned by Craig & Faith, this car dealer/auto repair place is definitely our savior for this year. Bought baby white here for a very good deal. And by far, it's been a year & we haven't encountered major problem with the car. Although, we kind'a encountered a bit of problem with paper works, goodness Craig is helping out to make it work. Ain't that smooth though but still satisfied with their service. Every time baby black encounter some trouble shooting, PA is our saving grace. LoL. Minor or major this place helps a lot fixing our cars & save a lot compare to big companies who did it. And work totally fine after. Ruben is the guy who deals with the repairs & he is super efficient & kind. He makes sure our queries are being attended. By far, he's the guy we do trust too! There are also coupons that comes in our mail sometimes & that truly helps on lessen the bill whenever we need something to fixed one of our cars. So glad for their services. Will be coming back here if something is up with the cars especially baby white. Also, they got rental cars available to rent at the Hilton village.     My two daughters are going to school in a small town in Oahu. It was really hard for them getting around the town where they live having to walk everywhere, so we decided to buy them a car and have it be a surprise for them. It was pretty intimidating trying to buy a car long distance from the mainland! I researched several used cars and found one that I thought would be good. I messaged Premier Automotive about it and Craig called me to talk about the car. He was super helpful and I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the car, sight unseen. Talk about scary! I was a little nervous that the car would be a lemon or that they would scam me somehow, but it all turned out great. The best part was that Craig drove the car all the way from Honolulu to Laie, and put a big red bow on it as he delivered it to my daughters, who were so floored and surprised. It was awesome! Craig was an absolute sweetheart and I would do business with him again any day. Thank you Craig!! My girls are loving the Corolla and it's been a great car for them so far.

    Ok we got a keep from here and it was so fairly price. We got it same day and the workers were so nice and helpful getting us a car as we toured hawaii. Highly recommend this spot versus booking in touristy areas (:

    1) Test drove toyota 4runner , Faith said all tags current , after they make i sign all paper work & says all sales final " As iS " then they DON'T give safety check paper which makes sticker on bumper useless... 2) when test drove , she didn't mention interior lights didn't work, Also tow hitch light didn't work , found that out later, Also Found out truck is infested , ANTs , roaches , spiders .... 3) & MAIN thing was ONLY 1 KEYHOLE ,DRIVER'S SIDE , KEY DOESN'T WORK IN DOOR LOCK , There were other things also in the beginning that Drew red flags the hydraulic Hood didn't work and they could have fixed it in 1 day before I bought it , but they didn't which shows poor because after I bought it , they got the part in several hours AND there's more but I need to go they refused to return my texts I went into the shop several times they refused even to do the safety check like she verbally agreed to While test driving the car

    My car broke down in the middle of street close to their shop, Reuben and Alex came out to help me jumped the car and moved it out of the way, definitely god send! I'm so surprised they have some small parts that I looked every auto shop in Kaimuki and they all don't have it, but Reuben and Alex had it in stocks, they helped me changed the alternator plug, charged my battery, even at a time is already pass their off work schedule, super appreciate it! I'll definitely come back for future maintenance and repairs!

She talked so unbelievably fast that it felt like I was at an auction. Before I even had a chance to process what she was saying, she had swindled me into thousands of dollars of add-ons with little to no explanation. By the time it was over, my total had increased by to Pusan's of dollars. It wasn't informative--it was high-pressure sales at its worst. She was so aggressive and pushy that I was literally in tears by the end of the meeting. It didn't stop there. They promised to detail the car before delivery, but the detailing job was terrible. After washing it there was actually scratches and dents that weren't apparent before. I actually had to bring the car back. To make matters worse, the salesperson told me the vehicle came with built-in navigation. It does not. Whether that was intentional or just complete incompetence, it's unacceptable because it was one of the features I specifically expected to have. Between the misleading information, the relentless pressure to buy unnecessary extras, and the poor follow-through after the sale, this felt like a dealership that cares far more about squeezing every dollar out of customers than treating them honestly. I would never recommend buying a car here.

She kept me abreast of what was needed to be done in regards to the lug nut replacements, gave me a quote as a heads up and was very efficient in calling me as soon as my vehicle was done! She went above and beyond to have my vehicle out as soon as possible for she knew I had another appointment to have my tires replaced. While this is a long review, if you're seriously considering buying a car from this dealership, please read to the end. I purchased a used car (5/25/2026) on the condition that the dealership would address the check engine light, the taillight that was out, and detail the vehicle (the car was sitting in the upstairs showroom, not prepped for sale and filthy). It wasn't ready until 5/29; however, while on its way to be delivered, the check engine light went on again -also, that day, sales guy, Skylar, informed me the lender wanted an additional $599 for down payment. I told Skylar I no longer wanted the vehicle because I realized I'd continue having issues and I wasn't going to pay more down. The owner, Rima, called, assured me I wouldn't have any major issues moving forward and that they'd write off the extra $599. I begrudgingly agreed to take the car against my better judgment, based on his assurances. Within a week, the taillight was out again... took half a week approximately to get Skylar to provide information about having it fixed. They sent me to their "sister" shop, who replaced the bulb. The following day, light was out again. That shop discovered the light assembly was damaged due to water intrusion and had to order a part (estimated three week ETA). On July 2nd, I took the vehicle in to an independent shop for a standard oil change since the dealership told me, after the fact (of the purchase) that they don't usually change oil on used vehicles prior to sale. Would've been great to know that in advance. During the oil change, the threads pulled out with the drain plug which, according to the shop manager, is caused by the last person to change the oil because of either cross threading or over torquing. Now I'm hit with a $752 bill to replace the entire oil pan (aftermarket part... had they used an original part, it would've cost over $1000). This is more than 10% of what I currently own on the vehicle. I made repeated attempts to reach Rima through both text and email on the 2nd. He finally reached out that night, just before 8pm. He asked that I take the car to the dealership to have their people "verify (my) concerns" and he was informed it couldn't be since it's undrivable. He asked what the symptoms were... I told him none because I was simply being proactive by engaging in basic maintenance. His response? "With no symptoms, this may be outside of our parameters to try to assist". I sent three more texts after, all went ignored. Rima, you are the owner. What do you mean it's outside your parameters to "try to assist"? After two unsuccessful attempts to have this situation rectified via email, and no direct response from Rima (as a reminder, he is the OWNER) (and only one text from his shop guy, Dennis, to tell me Rima wouldn't work with me), I filed complaints with both BBB and DCCA. This dealership and, more importantly, the owner, is shady as hell. Check out all the other reviews and come to your own conclusions. I'd strongly suggest looking for any other dealership if you're hoping to have a functional vehicle - keep in mind that I had the vehicle for a total of 1 month and 3 days before it became unusable. I made the mistake of not looking at the reviews prior to walking into this dealership. Don't be like me and save yourself unnecessary stress and headaches. For anyone else who has had issues with this dealership, feel free to reach out to me. It's time Rima be forced to face the consequences of fraudulent business practices.
