This place sell itself. Easy to find, next to all transportation resources. Health, fresh and open on the weekends! This is chain but the menu changes with the seasons. They monitor their inventory so it's fresh and we'll stocked. I look forward to the lemonade charcoal water to return. If frequent this place I recommend you get the VIP subscription. This Pressed Juicery store is located right next to the One America Plaza station near the Santa Fe Depot. It's very convenient for trolley commuters in this area, especially if they don't want coffee from the adjacent Starbucks. When I walked in, I noticed the refrigerators behind the service counter were all stocked with their bottled beverages. The worker said I could try a taste sample of any type, however I politely declined. Besides juices (citrus, fruit, green, root), the menu also offered lemonades, oat milks, premium waters, soft serve freezes, wellness shots and other healthy snacks. You can sign up for membership which will get you a discount. For example, a 450 mL bottle of juice costs about a dollar less if you are a member. It is still expensive for less than 16 oz of fresh juice. I received a free juice or freeze from a promotional offer so I picked the former (Citrus 1). The juice was made up of cucumber, pineapple, coconut water, lemon and aloe vera. I also bought a second beverage (Strawberry Basil Lemonade) which was comprised of strawberries, monk fruit, lemon and basil. I did like it better than Citrus 1 though because of the tartness from the lemon. If it wasn't for the regular prices, then I would probably have rated Pressed Juicery another star higher for my experience.

Citrus 1 and Citrus 2 were my favorite! Mango Turmeric Lemonade was also really good. Strawberry Basil Lemonade

Can't go wrong with pressed and ginger shots! I believe the wellness shots were 6 for $30 And there was another deal for the juice as well.

Order for pickup here after a shopping trip with my niece. Just read the other reviews about others having a difficult time with the hours listed and the actual opening. Luckily, I didn't have that problem so I guess the hours were updated after all of the complaints. The staff were helpful, sweet, and attentive. I'm generally a picky eater especially when it comes to veggies and fruits, but the drinks were quite delicious! Though you can definitely taste the healthiness of it and the after taste is kind of a kicker.

Ordered a weeks worth of juice through Instacart. Started drinking my green juice this morning and felt it tasted a bit sour.. looked at the expiration date and it expires on 03/08/23. That was THREE weeks ago. They sent me all expired juices for the week. Wasted my money. I will never order from them again. Disgusting

There are good fresh-pressed juices... and then there is Pressed Juicery. As soon as I moved to San Diego I had one thing on my mind - where can I get a good juice?! (It's a small obsession) Pressed did not disappoint, but actually exceeded my expectations with its super fresh juices!! The flavors are super light and refreshing, my favorites include Sweet Greens, Sweet Citrus, and Strawberry Basil Lemonade. (Can you tell I have a sweet tooth?) On top of that, the milk-free sorbets they sell are some of the best I've ever had, taste and texture-wise. Perfect for a hot summer day. All in all, Pressed, I'm your biggest fan. Sign my bottle? XOXOXO

You can't really beat the refreshing taste of fresh fruit and nutty granola and butter. Especially when you can take this delectable bowl to the beach and just vibe in the sand. Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. The pineapple spirulina was favorite as it had a good sweetness to it. Honestly wished I could get a bowl with just this as a base and of course the natural blue color is just so unique. Coconut was coconutty and the pitaya was brightly colored, not too much distinctive taste on this one. Peak San Diego Experience

Yum! I don't think I've ever had a "pure" açaí bowl before (usually mixed with blueberries,…read morestrawberries, etc.), but I'm a big fan now. This little store is inside the Bakeshop by Coco Playa so the sign is hard to spot. They sell açaí bowls (in a cup) and smoothies + Brazilian cheese bread :) The acai is smooth and creamy, and I liked how it was sweet (honey added) and didn't melt very quickly. Super tasty! They do a good job layering on the toppings and making the cup look pretty. There's an option to do half acai and half coconut sorbet; the sorbet was super sweet and packed a punch of coconut flavor-- so good and refreshing! The blueberries seemed thawed from frozen so some of them were still frosty but they were still sweet. MT really enjoyed the pistachio butter too. They did away with their Tuesday special of unlimited toppings, but now you get unlimited regular toppings everyday with regular+ sizes. Premium options (like protein powder, pistachio butter, almond butter, goji berries, etc) come with an additional cost. Definitely pricey but a special, fun, and tasty treat! We enjoyed Açaí Carioca so much we went 3 times in a week! This location has better parking (a shopping plaza lot), was less busy, friendlier service, and had a few seats outside compared to their other location. If you're craving a refreshing and somewhat healthy treat, check this place out!

Prices can really stack up though, so I just stick to the basic toppings. I got a half acai/half coconut sorbet cup with all the fruits and coconut shavings. It's SO good, I highly recommend the coconut sorbet to any coconut fan! The texture and flavor of real açaí here is so amazing, completely a different experience from any of the other açaí places. That makes this my favorite açaí spot I've tried so far in San Diego. The Brazilian bread is super addicting as well!

We waited about 30 minutes (Sunday afternoon rush), but it gave me plenty of time to explore the menu. I decided to just park along Gilman Drive, which is free, and walked about 20 minutes. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all -- it was a sunny day and there's plenty of street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. I've always loved Blue Bowl Superfoods in Oceanside. It's SO good and easily one of my favorite açaí spots, I could literally eat it every single day. I love all the customizations they offer, the variety of bases, and just how many ingredients they have. This time, I decided to visit their UCSD location, which is right in the middle of University of California San Diego's campus. They open around 10 AM on Saturdays (and typically around 8 AM on weekdays), and even right at opening there were already a lot of people waiting. My friend and I were still able to get in and out pretty quickly around 10. I ended up getting their mango passion base along with açaí. For toppings, I loaded it up strawberries, bananas, apples, blackberries, blueberries they truly have so many options. I also love their variety of nuts, seeds, and different types of nut butters. They really don't skimp on choices. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by. I was SO full after, and honestly, you could even split a bowl with a friend because they pack it generously. It's about $12 for a normal medium-sized bowl, which I think is worth it for the portion and quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The ambiance is nice it's more of a grab-your-bowl and then sit outside type of vibe, but there is indoor seating as well. Definitely one of my favorite açaí spots, and this location did not disappoint.

I placed an order ahead of time and showed up about 25 minutes later thinking it would be ready. When I checked in, a younger employee told me it would be another 10 minutes. Annoying, but okay. The parking situation around here is already a nightmare, so I really wasn't thrilled about having to stand around waiting even longer. Well, those 10 minutes turned into 25. During that time, I watched multiple people walk in, place orders after I had already checked in, and receive their food before me. The crazy part? It wasn't even busy. There was no line out the door, no rush, no obvious reason for such a ridiculous delay. After waiting long enough, I finally went up to an older gentleman working there (I'm assuming the owner) and politely explained that I had been waiting a very long time and was confused why people ordering after me were getting their food first. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing him for asking about an order that should have been ready ages ago. Then, after another 10 minutes, my bowls were finally ready. In total, I waited about 35 minutes after checking in for pickup. To top it all off, the older gentleman practically shoved the bowls at me without so much as a "sorry for the wait." Look, delays happen. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're running behind, just be honest about it. Don't tell someone 10 minutes when it's really going to be over half an hour. The açaí is good, but not nearly good enough to make up for being treated like an annoyance.
