Better Buzz Coffee was exactly the pick-me-up I needed while walking through the mall, and wow did they deliver. The stand was busy, but the staff never felt rushed or flustered. Instead, they calmly let me know they'd be right with me and even cracked a few jokes while keeping the line moving. That kind of energy goes a long way. The young lady at the counter was awesome. It was my first time here, and without hesitation she gave me great recommendations with total confidence. No pressure, no attitude--just genuine, effortless hospitality. And the drink? This coffee spot came highly recommended, and the line that was 10-15 people deep confirmed that it was worth a try The menu offers a wide variety of classic coffee options with a Better Buzz twist. There are many seasonal and flavored drinks, you can choose hot vs cold on most drink options, and there are various drink sizes. You can also add additional shots of espresso I tried the coconut flavored Best Drink Ever and the Hazelnut Divinity. Neither were incredibly sweet, which I appreciate. I'm not a huge hazelnut fun, but the taste was subtle and enjoyable The storefront is trendy and modern, and it was very busy, but the counter and area was a little messy. It took several minutes or more to get our drink order, and that appeared to be par for the course. I also saw that a couple drinks orders didn't have their lids firmly put on Some tips: Obviously, this location is in a high-end shopping mall. So, enjoy your drink as you pursue the shops. This was the newer location in the food court plaza that took over the Starbucks. This location seemed a lot less busy and the service seemed faster than the main one on the first floor. I got the Best Drink Ever with half sweetness. I like that I can get less sweet now but I didn't really taste the coffee as much. It tasted like slightly sweet water and milk unfortunately. I wish the coffee flavor was a bit stronger but it does the trick when I just need some caffeine. Better Buzz is also the main coffee shop in this shopping center so it'll have to do. Better Buzz is pretty good! So good I wished they had more locations. When I looked it up, I saw Hillcrest, Pacific Beach (PB), Mission Gorge, and Mission Valley (MV) were close to me. The closest to my home is the MV location, and that one literally located inside Fashion Valley Mall. I have visited at least a handful of times, and taste-wise they are consistent with how they make their drinks. I really enjoy their Coconut Buzz... and that's saying a lot because I'm not a huge coconut fan. Something about the flavor profile just makes it work and it tastes really good! I actually find myself craving it every so often. Let me just say, if you are coming here during peak hours (like on a busy weekend) then parking is going to be a hassle and there will likely be a very long line. To bypass the line, is recommend ordering online and once you park and walk up, your coffee will probably be ready. I have come here on a weekend and have seen probably 30+ people in line! I walked up, saw the line from a good distance (stretching near the escalator) and I was like, "Nope." I turned around and came back another time. Ordering online is a good way to bypass the line. If I know I'm heading there, I order online, park, walk up, and my drink is ready when I get to the counter. I'm going to try one of their more popular drinks called, "Best Drink Ever" (BDE). To call it BDE, it's gotta be good, right? It's the mall and parking can get crazy. I usually find parking near the west side of the shopping center near JC Penny either in the structure or south near the escape room business. There are places nearby to sit and overall it tends to be clean. Or you can walk upstairs to the tables near the food court. Another option would be to walk around the mall and enjoy your coffee. This was the worst Better Buzz location I've experienced. The mobile order was marked as ready, but when I arrived to pick it up, I was initially told it was upstairs. It later turned out the order was actually on the lower level where I was standing the entire time. I received one drink, then waited an additional 15 minutes for the second. There was significant confusion among staff, with more people waiting at pickup than ordering, and overall the process felt very disorganized. Every time I'm in Southern California I make sure to stop at a better buzz location. This time I visited one that was inside a mall, as it was the only option nearby that was open early enough on a Sunday morning. It was a little difficult to find given the GPS directions, and the fact that no other stores were open, but there was enough other foot traffic making its way to the spot that I was able to find it. I was a little disappointed to see that this was just a window counter service area, and not a restaurant so their options were very limited. However, I got my Horchata latte and it was exactly what I needed to get my day going. Better buzz has some tasty options that I always enjoy trying as treats when I'm in the area. read more

I went to to Better Buzz at Fashion Valley for the first time. For startes the baristas were pretty rude, purposely ignoring customers and not being the nicest. Whatever not that big of a deal. I got ny drinj took one sip and it was terrible. I dont go back to say anything i let it be. As im sipping ny second sip i felt something in my mouth and there was a bee... i am allergic. If you do order in the app or online make sure to pay attention to which location. Both locations don't really have a sitting area but lots of places to sit or walk around the mall. This place is always buzzing (hahahaha see what I did there) fast and friendly even with a long line. Got my coconut buzz with coconut milk and lemme tell you it's like a liquid mounds bar. SUPA HOT FIRE!!!! I love this location the baristas are attentive and give great recommendations. Although the line can look crazy at times that really know how to keep it moving. All of my drinks come out tasty and I've never had to have them remake. Lina has helped me twice and her positive energy leaves a lasting impression on you. Gideon helped me this last week too and he was engaging. I've been to coffee shops in the past where it seems like the baristas want nothing to do with you and I don't get that vibe here. The ambience is energetic and it looks like everyone here is having a great time. I've been visiting this location for years every time I stop by the mall. My friends and I loved Better Buzz so much that we came 2 mornings in a row! This location is in the Fashion Valley mall, and surrounded by tons of great shops. Servers were always super friendly. The line is always long but it seems efficient and we got our drinks within 10-15 minutes. The first time, I got the iced horchata latte. It was light and had a strong cinnamon flavor which I enjoyed! However if you like your coffee strong & creamy, it's probably not the best option for you. The second time, I got the Pumpkin Spice Latte, which was my favorite. It was creamy, sweet but not too sweet, and had a nice hint of pumpkin! This was 100x better than the PSL from Starbucks in my opinion. Would definitely recommend for a nice pick-me-up! read more

Wanted to grab coffee before the 2 hours drive on the way home. I went on yelp and found this coffee place but I didn't know it would be located at the mall. I actually heard of better buzzed before but never tried it. This location at the mall only serves drinks, acai bowls and pastries. I thought there would be some warm savory breakfast items just like their other locations but not this location. I went around 10 am and there was already a long line. The shops at the mall weren't even open yet either. I ordered the an iced Honey latte with coconut milk. The drink was very sweet and creamy. Overall was a pretty good coffee. read more

I called yesterday and they told me he had already left for the day, and I called this morning and after a bit I was able to get ahold of him. He kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain to him what actually happened. He was rude and condescending during the call. I explained to him that when I tried to exchange the mango smoothies for an actual agua Fresca that I had actually initially ordered and paid for, that his employee took them and refunded me before he explained to me that he was going to refund me. I was trying to exchange 2 of the 3 I had bought and paid for. But the employee took them and tossed them into the trash behind the counter before he told me he wouldn't sell me anything else and kicked me out. At the same time, my son was outside with the drink he decided to keep and we didn't try to exchange. When the employee kicked me out I told him I was trying to buy others, but he wouldn't let me, told me to get out, so I left and told him I'd be leaving a review. For some reason he refunded me all 3 aguas ($15). I never asked for any of that, he just did it. It seemed that the owner and the employee both had an issue with the fact that my son kept the drink that he had outside. I'm really not sure what they expected me to do after I was kicked out. Did they want me to take it from him and throw it away? This has all been a very strange set of interactions. Luckily Señor Mangos and Anakin's aren't too far away. I can head there and order sugarless agua frescas and have never had an issue the dozens of times we've been there, either with the service of the taste. They are delicious and always so kind. If I were you, I'd steer clear of this place and go elsewhere.

I would've recommended this place because it's clean and the ingredients seem very honest and true…read moreto the description. but i had a little bit of unfortunate experience tonight because of the service. here's what happened... i got here at 9:05pm. i saw the store hours was until 930pm on Thursdays. i only ordered 1 passion mango drink and a crunchy bowl for $23. after i placed my order, i even tipped $5 (IN CASH) to the worker and she sees me place the tip in the jar. i felt bad for ordering within 30 minutes of closing. but i did not expect the worker to be in a noticeably bad mood as she was taking my order. she was extremely short with me this whole time. she didn't exchange pleasantries such as good evening or thank you. here's more bad experience from that night: when i got my orders: passion mango drink, it was half the cup as you see in the picture. and the bowl was uncovered. she just left my orders on the counter without proper notice. i felt scared to ask for a cover for the bowl. so i just left. i don't know man, i just felt like crap after that experience.

One of the best things about Everbowl is the customization. You can change up ingredients from the bases to toppings. Combinations are endless! They have fun signature bowls like Nutty Butty, Blue Lagoon, and Full Moon. They also have Whatever bowls, smoothies, toasts, sips, and even some food items and "take-me-homes." There's honestly something for everyone. You can also order ahead and schedule a pick up if that's your jam! Great Mission Valley location with easy parking, indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms and super friendly staff. Perfect pick-me-up especially in the summer, but I'll still grab one in any season. I came around 8:40-8:50 am and my smoothie was ready within 5ish minutes of me ordering it. They have a few chairs and tables outside and some seating inside so you can plan to stay and enjoy your order if you'd like. It's not that far from my Pilates studio so I can definitely see myself returning here on my way home from working out in the morning.
