I am a fan of Presto Fresh Mexican. There may be two locations but my experience is solely with this location on 125th! They have very reasonably priced lunch specials. The food really is always very fresh. I usually get the Flautas combo (1st choose chicken or cheese) comes with pico de gallo, crema and a side of gauc as well as. A VERY large side of rice and beans. Honestly, I was full after the flautas guac and pico. My bf's friend came over later and ate the rice and beans cold as a snack I've had them warm, on days when I was hungrier and they were delicious. Grilled Chicken Sandwich is so delicious Also have had the smoothies- they will make whatever you want. Fresh fruit not frozen and options for your base. We have done both take out and delivery. Customer service is always SOOO wonderful (if it's not crowded I take advantage and practice my spanish and they always help me improve) Delivery is always on time or early and hot. read more

Would've been 3 stars with the super extra delivery time (80 minutes!?). But the food hit! The nachos with chicken, for $9, were made with freshly fried chips and heaps sour cream, Oaxaca cheese, and guacamole. Hella bang for your buck! Plus the flavors were authentic- no tacky cumin or canned beans. Fresh chips are a HUGELY noteworthy addition, and the chicken was charcoal-y and moist as you can get. Pork Carnitas Burrito ($9) was also super legit at a generous serving. The Carnitas were some of the best I've had! Crusty outside, juicy center. Salty and a liiiitle spicy. Such a damn good burrito. Decided to take a chance and try this place after a 4-hour long study with my friend at her apartment nearby. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint! The flavor in both the burrito and quesadilla was amazing and we loved the fact they did not skimp on the fillings (chicken, rice, pico de Gallo, etc). It also ended up being enough for dinner and lunch the next day. As for the maduros (which are my favorite), they were perfectly cooked and you get a good amount in one order. This was the first time ordering from here. A co-worker and I order lunch: the Chorizo quesadilla, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Taco and Grilled Veggie Panini. We wanted to try different dishes as this was our first time ordering. The chorizo quesadilla was terrible. There was barely any chorizo, the quesadilla tasted cold and was not grilled and at all. My co-worker enjoyed the veggie panini. She loves meat and wanted to try something different. For a meat lover, she definitely raves about how delicious it was. The Chicken Taco was phenomenal. It tasted so fresh and the grilled chicken was well seasoned. Lastly, the grilled chicken sandwich was good too. I work nearby and I have been looking at the menu for WEEKS. I decided to make the trip today and I was not disappointed. I typically do salads almost every place else that's mexican or tacos, but today I tried the spinach tortilla quesadilla with chicken. It was filling and tasty! A lot of people were ordering smoothies and juices so I felt left out. Next time I will try one because the recipes do sound great. Ok, so I took my son to Prestos on 125 street. We had lunch. He asked to use the restroom and cashier told him "No!". He explained that he was with me and we just ate. The cashier pretended not to see me. I was so disappointed with this interaction. The attitude of the cashier left bad taste in my mouth. It was crazy. This place is awesome for a good price (at least for around here). I ordered a chicken burrito and two carnitas tacos for takeout and was very impressed by the size for a $9 burrito and $6 for two tacos. Tastes really good too! In my opinion probably the best Mexican food I've tried around Columbia's campus. When I went to pick up my food, I noticed the interior is really clean and spacious as well, so that's definitely a plus for dine-in folks. Will definitely be coming back! read more

The food is decent, but unfortunately the service sucks. I'm not sure why the owners left their establishment to this rude woman, but who ever is at the cashier needs some immediate customer service training. I went to the place to order a simple salad with four ingredients and when I got there the cashier was on the phone. She stopped to give a person their order, but then went back on the phone and ignored me. I waited patiently. After 10 minutes of standing in front of her, she barely apologized and took my order. However, knowing I was the only customer in the shop, she didn't bother to have someone make my order right then, instead having me wait there as they filled in the call in orders. I got the message....they don't care about customers. I got a refund and left. I always try to support local business, but this is not acceptable. I actually was telling others about the place and planning on writing a positive review for my publication, but not anymore. I won't be back because of her or until they fix their customer service problem. read more
