This place is good if you need something convenient, fast, and straightforward -- it's very no frills so don't expect independent, hipster, young working professional cafe vibes but it does the job. I ordered a large latte with almond milk. My friends ordered lattes with whole milk, a latte with oat milk + vanilla syrup, and a harvest oatmeal cookie. There's a +0.50 or 0.75 cent extra charge for dairy alternatives and added syrup. The coffee was slightly bitter and acidic; I usually never add sugar to my lattes but this time I had to add 3 packets. Service was fairly quick! We all got our drinks within 5-10 minutes. Of their two bathrooms downstairs, one was out of service so I waited about 10 minutes to use the bathroom :( The store could also be a little cleaner. Decent spot if you have NO TIME to pick up food. Everything is ready-made and prepared for take-out and you just have to pick it up and pay. Decent selection of sandwiches, salads, wraps, and chips. The quality of the sandwiches you find completley depends on the time of day you go. Before the lunch rush, you'll be able to find nice sandwiches with good portions of meat in them, but people will pick and choose over the day so if you go too late, you'll be left with a few sandwiches that look like nothing more than a few pieces of greens sticking out between two pieces of baguette. Portions seem a bit small for the price though. Just about everything they have sandwich/wrap wise is between $7 and $9. If their bread wasn't so good, I'd say a deli was a better deal and a better meal 90% of the time. The wraps are long and thin - picture a slightly larger version of a taquito. They list a whole bunch off ingredients but they seem to have lots of veggies/filler and not that much meat. The baguette sandwiches are about 7-8 inches. The bread is really wonderful and the hot sandwiches are the best they have to offer. Some of the items I've had: *Southwest Breakfast Wrap - MAYBE had 2 eggs, hard to tell since the entire thing was beans. Did not see or taste ANY bacon as advertised. I'd pass on this. $5 after tax *Hoisin Duck wrap - Small amount of duck, lots of spinach and cucumbers. I dont think i saw any hoisin sauce or mayo as advertised. Good but nothing special $8 after tax If you aren't pressed for time, go to any of the deli's nearby and get a real sized wrap for the same prices. *Southwest/BBQ Chicken HOT sandwich $8 - probably their best sandwich. Good mounts of chicken and mix-ins on a toasted baguette. You won't find much that beats it. *Chicken Cesar Bacon wrap $8 - one of their top items. If you're lucky you can find one with a decent amount of chicken. Wish it had more sauce though. *Tomato and Feta Soup - meh, pretty average. I chose the Aztec Quinoa Chili. The soups come in two sizes, 8 ounces and 12 ounces. I chose the 12 ounces since it was only $4.99, $1.00 more than the 8 ounces size. The Aztec chilii was "tender cannellini, pinto beans, quinoa, amranth and millet wih peppers, onions, corn, cilantro, ancho chile, lime juice." The soup was spicy. Besides the very friendly and helpful staff they are one of the very few places that have tasty, healthier choices to choose from. This is a terribly run place. I really like the frittatas they have for breakfast, but they are constantly out of them. If I show up at 10 am, they say I am too late. If I show up at 8 am, they say I am too early. Nobody is helpful and I'm not sure anyone is in charge. Plus they don't manage the lines well, so the whole thing feels like a cattle car. I like the way the dark roast coffee tastes, even though a small cup will run over $2, which makes the coffee here just as expensive as Starbucks.
