Loved this place! My family and I went to celebrate Father's day, and we all had a great time! We ordered two rolls, 3 entrees and a desert for 15 a head for the 4 of us. Rolls were scrumptious! We got the spicy tuna crunch and the combination veggie. Our entrees: pad thai, rama chicken, and red curry. We shared them amongst us and it was very filling. Desert was the Golden Ball. So crispy, yet filled with an equivalent amount of cream cheese with the obvious flavor of crab. The chicken pad thai... one of the best I've encountered. If you are wondering what type of fried rice to get... the chicken thai fried rice is the way to go. Perfectly balanced with veggies, soy, and egg. I can not forget to mention the curry. Went for dinner tonight to this new spot on Petersen. Sushi was very good and well presented; try the eel. Also tried the shrimp pad thai, vegetable tempura, and crab Rangoon, all good. It's small but cozy and BYOB which is fantastic for this neighborhood. They have glasses and items to chill your wine as well. Pride is down the block from me, and I couldn't be happier. The service here is some of the best I've had. One of the ladies who works there even wrote down my name and when I visited the next time she had remembered it. They have some of the most creative sushi rolls. Solid sushi spot. Found it randomly on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded and there was no wait! It's a no frills decor which is fine by me. Started off with the spicy edamame and spicy miso. When they say spicy, they mean it! The edamame came lightly salted w red chili flakes and it was a little too spicy even for me. The miso was good, no bad after taste like some places. Then I ordered the Mexican roll, their specialty super white tuna nigiri and the tuna, yellowtail and salmon sashimi. The roll and the nigiri were just okay, the sashimi was good with the standout being the salmon. It tasted like fatty salmon and was so good i had to order another! Ended with green tea and mango mochi ice cream which was also good. The service was friendly and attentive. The food came out a bit too quickly and in an odd order but not a big deal. Decided to try something new at Pride and I was so happy I did! I've had many rice and chicken dishes from Pride and sushi too; which I've always been happy with. Last night I ordered the furious udon stir fried which was delicious!! It's pretty spicy and has beef, chicken, and shrimp stir fried with various vegetables and udon noodles. I loved the broccoli and the shrimp. The dish could have used more noodles than meat and vegetables but I feel like most people prefer it the other way around. As usual, the crab rangoons were impeccable! I can't recommend them enough. I was a little surprised that the wait time was 50-60 minutes for delivery but I think it took a little less than 40 minutes. read more

I was in the area and did a quick search for a Thai spot open late (after 10p) and this location popped up. I need something quick and relatively light so I called in an order of the spicy ramen soup. It comes with beef but I assume you could change the meat if you wanted. I kept it as-is and arrived to pick it up 10-15 mins later. ** They give a 5% discount if you pay in cash ** When I got home... I guess I shouldn't have been surprised... the noodles were packed separately from the soup. So I just grabbed a large bowl and mixed it all up. But if you order this as take out and don't have the luxury of finding a bigger bowl and more sturdy utensils you'll be SOL. There isn't room in either of the to-go containers to actually mix the noodles and soup. It was a good portion size, it came with tons of protein between all of the beef and the eggs, and the flavor was good. I'm looking forward to trying them out again. read more

I was in the area with a friend today and decided to give this a try. Wow! The creamy white tuna was the best I have ever had. The caterpillar roll was nothing special.. Had an unfortunately bad lunch experience here this past week. I'd been pretty satisfied with the previous business, "Fishing Cat Sushi", and even recognized members of the staff were the same, so going in I had high hopes. First off, way too slow. A coworker and I came in on lunch break at 1:30pm, were the only patrons in the restaurant, and our meal still took 1 and a 1/2 hours. Just tapped our toes waiting on the soup and trying to make small talk, frequently glancing at the time and thinking..."What could possible be taking so long? There's nobody here?!" 45 mins later when my my Beef Bento Box finally arrived, it was exactly as another reviewer described it; tough, and drenched in watery sauce. Everything else was just OK, standard sushi/goyza. If the staff weren't so lackadaisical, I'd have given the food a passing C, but the wait was just unbearable. Won't be back. read more

Their tempura batter is more akin to Drake's breading mix, and the sushi's taste was so-so. I also requested an udon with tofu in it, but the staff was unable to understand the request. Chose to come here with my boyfriend and his friend due to the reviews. The chives dumplings were great and the bubble green tea was delicious. However the sushi was just average. I ordered their pride sushi thinking that it would be outstanding given the name, but the three of us could attest that it was very hard to take down. They did remove it from our check so that very was nice of them. The reason I give this place 3 stars and not 4 is because they took very long to bring out my order. The guys were more than halfway done with their food when the server comes back to ask them how it is- while I'm still waiting. I loved going to Pride pre-Covid and decided to place a delivery order from there today. They definitely did not disappoint and packed everything very carefully and clean. The food was as delicious as it was in person and I especially enjoyed how warm it still was. They even packed a little decorated baggie for Valentine's Day with chocolates and lollipops inside as an added treat which was very special. I've never dined in or even passed by this place, but I found Pride via Grubhub and have ordered delivery a few times now. Every time I've ordered, I've been very pleased with the taste and speed of delivery. I usually order the sushi platter for $15.99 which comes with a chef's choice nigiri, a spicy tuna roll, and miso soup. Everything is great!! My only "complaint" is that once tax, delivery, and tip are accounted for, it ends up being almost $30. I'd love to dine in one day! read more

I've tried almost every thai place on the northwest side and I am sad to say this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Hopefully it was just an off day. I will admit that I was skeptical initially because I don't typically expect excellent thai food and sushi from the same restaurant -- but these folks know what they're doing.
