Not the worse Thai food place I've tried but not the best. I tried the tofu and it was ok. I will say the service was great. However, I requested that the food had no mushroom or onions, and when my food arrived, it was there. I was a but surprised but figured I'll let it go. Luckily, I was not allergic. Really, really good. Worthy successor to Fishing Cat. The staff is attentive without being overwhelming---one of the new co-owners asked us for feedback when we arrived---a nice touch. This is my favorite Thai place in the area. My family has eaten at Pride or had their food delivered to us probably 40 times in the past 6 years and we've never had a bad meal. There are a lot of Thai places in the Lincoln Square area, however we tend to stick with Pride whenever we are in the mood for Thai food. My wife and I just moved to Chicago from St. Louis and are in the West Rogers Park area. One day, we decided to find a sushi place. This happened to be the first place we came to and we have never visited another sushi place! The staff is always friendly and the menu selection offers a great variety of sushi rolls. You can get anything from your traditional offerings to some nice specialty rolls. The most notable thing is how quickly you are served! Usually when I think sushi I think of investing a whole evening because of meal prep, but that's.m not the case here, they are always speedy to bring out your rolls! We love this place and are glad to have a great sushi place so nearby. read more

Great food! However there smoothies is the best smoothies I've ever had! I came in ordered food asked them what they had to drink. I'm not big on smoothies but when they mentioned it I thought I tried one for a change. Blew my mind! I came home finished it immediately went back just to get another one this time a large one. Consistently excellent service. Very tasty sushi options, the signature rolls in particular. Their miso soup and crab rangoon are some of my favorites. Their thai iced coffee is sweet and robust. I order from this place quite frequently - the delivery is always fast and efficient and the food is delicious. The chicken pad Thai, dragon roll, crab Rangoon and spicy tuna roll are my standard order (and always enough pad Thai leftover for a meal the next day). This is my first review on yelp even though I use it constantly to find new restaurants for my girlfriend and I. To sum this place up in one word, it is AMAZING! Creative and decadent sushi and their spicy Thai basil has great spice and it's delicious. Awesome crab ragoons and pot stickers. Their tempura fried vanilla ice cream is huge and tastes incredible. They always give us a complimentary appetizer to try before we order our main course. Great and sweet staff. Their "glee" like music is also pleasant and tasteful. This is my local sushi go to spot, and I am definitely a regular here. This is a great tasting and inexpensive sushi and thai restaurant. I highly recommend All About Salmon, spicy salmon, philadelphia, tuna, sashimi, and pretty much everything. The shrimp dishes are very tasty as well. Great place! We dined in this evening - and had a wonderful meal. The furious udon was awesome, meat was super tender & tasty. The Combo-veg maki was delicious, as was the chive dumpling. The traditional dragon roll is substantially better than one would expect for it's price during happy hour, it comes very well decorated to please the customer and there are plenty of appetizers to get your expectations set high as they should be. I would definitely recommend this restaurant over any other sushi place ONLY if you're going during happy hour. It is still up there during regular hours though. Great place! I wish I lived closer to make this my "go-to" sushi place. If I am ever in the area, I'll be sure to stop by! The sushi tasted much fresher than I've had at most places, and it was accompanied by superbly artistic and tasty mayos & sauces. Also, we ordered the pad thai which was also cooked very well. I cannot remember the last time that I ordered take out and everything was fantastic! I didn't even eat the food until almost an hour after it had been delivered, and it was still wonderful. The Furious Udon is great--even my picky husband had to admit it. And I think that this place may steal the Spicy Tuna award that Grub Hub awarded to Hello. This is even better! Plus they have spicy crab and spicy salmon maki. We ordered Pride on Grub hub and it came in RECORD TIME! We both had Thai dishes. I had Spicy Basil with Beef, and my husband got Green Curry with Chicken. The food was very fresh and seasoned wonderfully. If you like spicy, both of our dishes packed a good amount of heat. Even the rice was done perfectly! My husband raved about the Miso soup. My first time ordering from Pride but won't be my last. I was in a mood for fried rice. Kinda lame, but that's where I was at. I ordered the basil fried rice medium spicy. Loved it! Some other reviews mentioned the crab Rangoon being very good and they were right! I'm picky about my crab Rangoon. These were very good. Finally, I had to get a roll - just because. I ordered delivery and I almost burned my mouth on the crab rangoons! They were still hot. They must have teleported to my house to have everything be so hot. I've been to my fair share of sushi places. But this one so far is my favorite. I used to order from here at least 3-4 times a month. Timely delivery, for is normally fresh. Prices are some what reasonable. I think the only reason I didn't give a 5 star is.... when I order the spicy crab maki from here. Every time I get it. That rolls are big but they fill them with more avocado then anything else. The portions are just not even. Especially when a order of 6 rolls of non special rolls are $7.99. I ordered the Godzilla and my friend ordered the spicy dragon. Mine tasted... Well not l what I would have expected it to taste like. It didn't seem fresh which was a big turn off. I tried my friend's and I thought hers tasted much better. Then we ordered the tempura fried ice cream.. The problem was too much fried....I felt horrible afterwards. Overall, this is a small quaint place. Presentation of food-beautiful. But not exactly sure how I feel about quality. I think it's worth a try though. read more

Complimentary crab rangoon, which was delicious, and we ordered five sushi rolls. Alaska was our favorite, with salmon and crabstick. Unagi with added cream cheese was great. Just ordered delivery here for the first time last night. Delivery was earlier than expected, still around 45 min. We got free egg rolls due to our order; they were good but really small. Sushi was very good! I was impressed! The shrimp pad Thai was pretty yummy too, but it was fairly luke warm to cold. It had probably been in the delivery car a while. That was a bummer. I would like to dine in next time as I was generally impressed with flavor and amount of food--one pad Thai was easily enough for two people to eat. Will try again!! read more
