The best chilaquiles ever! Once every other month we come to the Ferry Building farmer's market on Saturday mornings just for Primavera's chilaquiles. They make by far the best chilaquiles I've had anywhere. I can pinpoint to a few things that make their version of this dish stand out. The eggs were whiskered to perfection in terms of fluffiness. The chips remained crispy despite being drenched in sauces. The beans were rich creamy that served as a perfect contrast to the former two's fluffiness and crispness. As soon as we devoured this plate we were already craving it again.

The BEST chilaquiles in SF are here at the Ferry Building farmers market on saturdays! They have been here for a very long time and it seems to be the case that there is always a line of super fans who want the chilaquiles :) the plate of the most delicious chilaquiles comes with fluffy eggs, beans, and avocado. Be sure to add as much salsa as you like before you start eating CASH ONLY so make sure you stop by the ATM before Currently most menu items are $16 We are definitely getting the tamales next time (they are all gordito chunky boys / gals!)

Never understood the hype for chilaquiles since they're just basically soggy breakfast nachos. This was a very hearty meal with eggs and refried beans. The most surprising thing was that the tortilla chips they use seem thicker than normal so the chilaquiles weren't as soggy as I feared. Eggs were silky and refried beans were flavorful. Once you get your order there is a mild red salsa or hot orange salsa for you to dress up your chilaquiles with. For $16 cash I thought it was expensive for what it was, but that's the price of doing business at the Ferry Building only once a week. Good if you like chilaquiles, but I probably prefer any other type of breakfast dish over chilaquiles.

We see the line year after year. Finally today we decided to get into the line. We find out from the person next to us that chilaquiles is what everyone is in line for. So we got 2 orders and a fish taco. Everything was very tasty indeed. The chilaquiles were just the right amount of crisp on the edges and soft from the salsa. It's served with scrambled eggs, beans and topped with sour cream. The fish tacos were large and filling and the fish was moist and flaky. One thing we learned is you can order half orders of all their entrees. So that's helpful if you want to try different things. The line was long for a Saturday. I'd say 20 minutes to order and another 20 minutes wait for the food. I'm not sure if it's worth all the time but maybe take turns in line with your party and the time will go fast.

Everyone loves the Chilaquiles here but I think it's a little too hyped up. The lines are long and will take at least 30 minutes just to get to order. The line moves along but the wait after will take awhile to get your food. The famous chilaquiles are $13 and they're good but not the best. Best to eat them right away when fresh. Hard to grab a seat during peak times. Located in the back of the ferry building. Cash only

I've came to this stand multiple times and the food is always great. My favorite are the birria tacos and chilaquiles. They are cash only so make sure to bring enough cash. The line does move quick but their service is fast. I noticed that many customers take their food to go but honestly eat it in the moment for the best experience.

Fabulous popular place for breakfast on a chilly Saturday December morning. The first time we noticed this place it had a line a mile long. Seriously! This second time we didn't want to pass it up so my wife talked me into ordering the chilaquiles to go. She had to get a picture. Yea for the Gram. We found a place to sit as there were open tables nearby. It was a good thing we walked back to get another napkin & ask for the name of the business which then I read the well deserved high ratings. You can purchase the chips, sauce separately too. I observed a couple doing that. I think we might try doing that the next time! Yes it was my first time having chilaquiles & it won't be my last. It's a must to eat most right away or the chips won't taste the same eight hours later. So much for our low carb diet! It's all good bc we will come back for more!

Every time I go to Primavera, I cannot help but get the chilaquiles. I've had a lot of chilaquiles and by far this is the best one I've eaten. But this time, I got their fish tacos. They were absolutely delicious!! Both the fish and the cabbage had a good crunch to them. I love the crema (not sure if it was avocado because it was light green in color but nonetheless yummy). And the tortilla was thick and had a good chew to it. Their fish tacos have replaced my number one place, even though the other place no longer serves fried fish tacos. I didn't add too much salsa because I wanted to taste it as it is, but I think the salsa enhances the already delicious dish. The customer ahead of me ordered half chilaquiles and half fish tacos.... I didn't even know you can do that! I'll have to order that if I'm craving both. It took my years to get something different, and I imagine it will take the same to try another item on their menu. But it's really one of the best places to eat at farmers market in the Ferry Building, and it is worth the wait.

So so good - had been wanting to try for a year & finally made it on a Saturday morning We went to the back of the market to find Primavera, found it by the long line but it wasn't too bad & moved fast CASH ONLY we had the chilaquiles - my first time - and lemonade You get in line, order, pay in cash then step aside and wait for your name to be called - about 10 min We found a seat on a bench, and dove in The sauce was great, rich & flavorful The chips were crispy The eggs were delicious And the lemonade balanced it all Give it a try, you'll be happy you did

I frequent the Ferry Building farmer's market and now, after visiting it for the first time, I understand why there's always a line for Primavera. The chilaquiles are so satisfying; the tortilla chips have the right amount of crunch. They're served with fluffy scrambled eggs, avocado, and refried beans. The line might look daunting, but it moves quickly and is worth the wait. For $13, it's a generous portion. Make sure to bring cash! They don't accept credit cards.

Cash only! Great prices, large filling portions, delicious food. Stall is located in the very back outdoors behind the ferry building, and the line here is usually quite long. Food is ready pretty quickly. Service is friendly, but wished it was easier to carry out the food to find a place to eat it instead of having it exposed on a plate walking around the farmers market and ferry building trying to find a table.

Best Chilaquiles I have ever tasted in the world

I had these chilaquiles one year ago and I haven't stopped thinking about them since. I finally went to the farmers market today and got them again, and I can assure you they live up to the hype!! Perfectly crunchy with delicious and fresh toppings--my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I like putting a little bit of everything on my fork and taking a big flavortastic bite! I'm honestly considering going to the farmers market every Saturday for some of these bad boys. PSA: They are cash only so make sure you come with $13 in cash for some bussin chilaquiles!

Excellent tasting food from a limited menu that's made quickly. Prices are comparable to other shops at the Ferry Market.

This is one of the best places that serves mexican food. Their chicken green chili tamales is one of its kind.

I think about this burrito daily and am willing to travel across the country to get it again. Not to mention, but this is a Mission style burrito in the Mission! This is the only way to do it and I now totally understand the hype.

A few people were already in there eating, and we know this place is good, as a few others in our group and I have been here multiple times. The Taqueria is typical of any other, with bench-style chairs for folks to sit on, a water station, and workers cooking it up in the kitchen. I wasn't too hungry, so I grabbed a Super Lengua Taco, while my friends grabbed burritos, we ended up grabbing 3 complimentary chips and guac/salsa with our order and the food came out pretty quickly. When I saw my Taco I forgot how much they stuffed it and wow, two of these would've filled me up just like a taco; there was so much Lengua that it kept falling off after every bite. The flavors all came together and I scruffed down the whole thing after about 6+ bites! Definitely a place to come to if you're looking for a full meal, or something to snack on!

Despite how packed it was, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was lively, and everyone working there was incredibly friendly. I ordered the burrito while my friends went with a variety of tacos. After trying both, I actually think the tacos are the stronger option. The burrito was flavorful and packed with a generous amount of guacamole, but it was very sloppy. With all the delicious juices from the meat and veggies and no rice to soak everything up, it fell apart pretty quickly. Thank goodness there is a single restroom in the back, which came in handy afterward to wash up. The tacos, on the other hand, were btter balanced and held together much better while still delivering plenty of flavor. The prices were also very reasonable considering how popular the place is.
